🧵 YouTube doesn’t care about your video. It only cares about how...

They're all important things to focus on, but none of it matters if no one clicks.
Because YouTube doesn't push the best edited video. It pushes what gets clicked and watched.
Your title and thumbnail do more to decide your video’s success than the content inside.
If the packaging doesn’t spark curiosity, promise value, trigger emotion, or FORCE the viewer to click on it, even the best video in the world won’t get views.
Before filming, go to YouTube, search the topic you’re making a video on, and find the answer to these questions:
> What type of titles are they using?
> What do the top-ranking thumbnails look like?
> Is there a pattern in the wording, colors, or emotions?
This matters so you stop guessing what works (where 99% of the time you're wrong) and instead you can reverse-engineer what is already succeeding.
There are tons of title formats that are all over YouTube, and these formats basically 10x-1000x the chances of your video succeeding.
You can research general YouTube to find title formats but the best place to start is your niche and competitors.
Example of some title formats:
> $1 vs $1,000,000 {thing}
> The BEST {topic} Strategy In {year}
> The ONLY {topic} You'll Ever Need
Just like there are certain title formats that work way better than others, there are also certain thumbnail styles that work better than others.
Make sure you do proper research within your niche to see what's working and what types of thumbnails people are clicking on.
If your title promises something, make sure the intro immediately confirms it. Viewers clicked for a reason, so you have to validate their decision ASAP.
