🧵 YouTube HATES creativity. Because YouTube doesn’t reward...

They upload what they want, when they want, how they want. They think if they’re “consistent” and “authentic,” they'll go viral some day.
But YouTube doesn’t care about your creativity. It only cares about one thing: Do viewers watch this over everything else in their feed?
That’s why execution matters more than creativity.
It doesn’t mean be boring or don’t be original. It means you must serve the market before focusing on your personal goals.
Here are a few practical ways to start winning on YouTube:
Don’t start scripting until your video idea and packaging pass this test:
> Will this video attract my target audience?
> Would a stranger stop scrolling to click this?
> Is this video better than similar videos in my niche?
If the answer to these isn't yes, your video is not ready.
YouTube LOVES watch time. They higher the watch time you have, the more YouTube will push your video.
Now to get higher watch time, you have to make sure A LOT of people are watching to the end.
You do that by cutting the fluff, creating curiosity, adding high stakes and rewarding viewers for staying.
Before you post your next video, ask yourself:
- Would I click this?
- Would I stay past the intro?
- Would I feel anything while watching?
If the answer is no, don’t publish.
Don't try to reinvent the wheel, you don't have enough knowledge and experience to do that.
Break down successful videos in your niche and replicate their structure.
Follow the types of thumbnails they're doing, the types of title formats they're using, the way they're editing their videos, the way they're pacing their videos, the way they're structuring those videos.
Anyone who has ever posted a viral YouTube video has done this, so don't beat yourself down by calling it "copying".
That doesn’t mean use 3D animations and expensive 4K camera.
It means being intentional and having:
> Clean audio
> Clear visuals
> Consistent pacing
> High value
