Many like Thiamine HCl - can be effective in as little as 10 mg, while some require in excess of 1,000 mg. I encourage experimentation.
There are also many lipid soluble forms:

• Sulbutiamine
• Allithiamine
• Prosultiamine

Same applies here - start low and work your way up.
