My new neighbor asked if he could use my Wi-Fi because his internet...

I gave him the password.
Two days later, he knocked on my door and asked if I could change it.
I laughed and asked why.
He said, “Your devices keep disconnecting at night.”
I thought it was a router issue and changed the password.
That evening, I checked my connected devices.
There was one device I didn’t recognize.
I removed it.
A few minutes later, my phone buzzed.
It was my neighbor.
He texted, “Why did you kick me out?”
I hadn’t given him the new password.
I asked how he knew.
He replied, “I can still see your network.”
Then he sent me a screenshot of my Wi-Fi name.
Under it was a list of connected devices.
One of them was labeled with my full name.
I went to his apartment and knocked.
Nobody answered.
The next morning, I contacted my landlord.
He told me the apartment next door had been empty for three months.
Then I remembered something.
I’d never actually seen anyone move in.
He called me back an hour later.
He said someone had been entering the empty apartment every night.
But there was something worse.
The footage showed the person leaving my apartment building every morning.
And every single time, he was carrying a laptop.
