Let’s start with the star of the show: Blaziken! What makes this guy so good?
1. After a Speed Boost he’s outspeeding everyone
2. He walls Zard Y AND Kingambit (not many mons do)
3. Fire + Fighting + Rock Hits a lot of really important Mons right now (2/13)

Being able to OHKO Zard-Y, Archaludon, Kingambit and Sinistcha with the same 1 Mon is actually kind of insane
You’ve also got a favorable roll to OHKO M-Aero & M-Floette, and small chance of OHKOing Incin AFTER Intimidate this guy is just an absolute delete button (3/13)

Unfortunately this guy does have a few weaknesses that give him trouble:
Basculegion, Garchomp, Delphox, Fairigraf, And Intimidate slowing him down
Thankfully you threaten 4/5 of these with Blaze’s Best Buddy Kingambit! These two are a match made in heaven (4/13)

The synergy is so good people ran Blaziken + Bisharp back in the day
If you intimidate Blaziken you give Gambit a boost
Gambit helps with the pesky Ghost and Psychic Types the Chicken Hates
And Blaziken can handle Zard and opposing Gambit - which lets you drop Low Kick (5/13)

This is honestly the most appealing thing about running Blaziken in my opinion
Kingambit is one of the best mons in the whole format. But so often you’ve got to drop an offensive item and/or protect to run Low Kick for other Gambit
But with Blaziken you can be greedy! (6/13)

Those 3 all also have the added benefit of being good into Basculegion as well - which is another guy that Blaziken doesn’t like to face
So Blaziken + Gambit + Weather Control + Anti-Garchomp = Profit!

First off let’s talk SnorlaxPikachu’s GCFE T16 team!
I really like the combo of Mega Venusaur here. It really dunks on Floette and is even a good bring non-mega with Cholorophyl. It’s also a lot more reliable into Rain
I also like Lycanroc Dusk for more Anti-Zard/Gambit (9/13)

And let’s talk @WhimsicottVG’s T16 GCFE team!
Two things really stand out to me.
The first is Life Orb Dnite. That guy is goated into pesky Delphox Blastoise comps and hard solos them
And Toxapex is just a damn menace in general it’s cool to see on a non-Zard comp (10/13)

Next I wanna talk the 6 that was popularized by @NikyuAlex
You see this a lot on ladder. It’s got some really cool techs. Yawn Torkoal is super disruptive and Aero as a Tailwind setter is actually really cool paired with Blaziken you get so much speed and offense (11/13)

And finally I wanna shoutout @katatatat__ who Day 2d the GCFE with this cool Blaziken Tailroom team with Vanilluxe!
I played them on ladder today and Life Orb Basc was an actual demon! And Scarf Vanilluxe is such a cool option that’s faster and hits harder than A-Tales (12/13)

Blaziken is such a cool Mon! It may be a little frail and have some common weaknesses but that hasn’t stopped Zard-Y!
This might be its moment and lots of people are building cool teams to be inspired by!
