YeonBin Censorship Evidence and Explanation Thread 🧵
0:12
2
1. Context for this thread:

One of the biggest indicators for Soobin and Yeonjun's relationship being romantic is the extent to which the company censors their interactions, compared to how much these two interact in reality and also compared to the other duos in the group.

Given the background context of the entire YeonBin conspiracy that I've described, YeonBin's contractual arrangement with BigHit/HYBE from debut required the censorship of their relationship. Yeonjun was subject to a company policy that prohibited him from giving the impression that he is sexually attracted to men. To a lesser extent, Yeonjun was also prohibited from appearing too gender non-conforming. Soobin seems to have been subject merely to a restriction that he could not be confirmed as gay, though he was apparently allowed to have non-serious dating rumors with other men to some extent.

2. How did the company censor YeonBin?

To censor queer idol couples, companies use multi-level control to shape disclosure of information to the public. It involves both negative control (e.g., cutting out content or prohibiting certain behaviors on camera), as well as the active production of content that is meant to mislead or distract fans from the truth.

HYBE's censorship of YeonBin involved the following, among other things:

• Editors cutting footage of YeonBin's interactions
• Staff scripting cover narratives and forcing the members to act them out on camera
• YeonBin and the other members self-censoring to avoid being recorded doing/saying something that would reveal YeonBin's relationship, as that would have been a violation of their contracts
• Members improvising stories on lives to cover the truth, and swapping names/details in their stories to hide off-camera YeonBin interactions (e.g. Soobin telling stories about living together with Yeonjun, but swapping in Beomgyu's name instead)
• The company forcing YeonBin to actively play along with staged distractions (e.g. fanservice involving Soobin and Beomgyu, fake dating rumors with other idols, etc.)
• The company paying off sasaengs and media outlets so that they would not reveal the truth
• YeonBin not allowed to go on trips together or be seen in public together
• The company hiding the fact that YeonBin have lived together in a separate dorm unit since 2021
• Staff editing or writing members' interview answers to push specific agendas (e.g., Soobin's and Beomgyu's DreamWeek interview answers were partially fabricated by staff in 2025 and 2026)

3. Why was there plenty of YeonBin ship fanservice content if they were being censored since debut?

HYBE did not censor YeonBin's interactions entirely over the past 7 years. The company also allowed a lot more fanservice interactions to be shown on screen during TXT's rookie period, prior to 2021. This is because HYBE, like most k-pop companies, sees queerbait fanservice as marketable but treats actual queerness as dangerous.

As a revenue-conscious company, HYBE could not forego showing some level of YeonBin ship fanservice, since YeonBin is the most popular TXT ship. The company tolerated and exploited YeonBin ship marketing and fanservice over the years to some extent, particularly when the company thought it was needed to boost the group's popularity during their rookie era. However, HYBE tried to avoid pushing it in a way that made the ship look real. The company censored anything that made YeonBin's relationship look too concrete, reciprocal, or authentic.

That is why YeonBin were occasionally featured in content as a couple over the years, but it was almost exclusively in contexts where it was clearly supposed to be fanservice or they were acting out an exaggerated parody (e.g., YeonBin's 'Weightlifting Fairy' reenactment skit from May 2022).

HYBE also had to give YeonBin just enough content that average fans wouldn't get suspicious due to the lack of interactions. For example, when YeonBin were in Paris in October 2025, they were put in separate hotels and did not physically appear in any content together, but Yeonjun was allowed to make a vaguely homoerotic comment on Soobin's live ("Soobin-oppa's chest is sexy") to pacify fans who would have otherwise complained or become suspicious that YeonBin did not interact at all despite being in Paris together for Fashion Week.

4. What is the proof for YeonBin censorship?

There were a few periods of increased censorship, where it was so obvious that even average fans noticed the absence of YeonBin interactions. However, the majority of YeonBin censorship is only noticeable when you compare it to the indications of how close they actually are off-camera, and when you compare them to how other TXT duos are treated by the company.

I provide a non-comprehensive overview of the evidence in this thread.
3
❄️ YeonBin's "Divorce Eras":

There are two infamous eras in YeonBin's timeline when company censorship was bad enough that even casual fans noticed the lack of interactions in official content. These are called their "divorce eras" or "cold wars" that occurred in 2021 and 2024.
4
1️⃣ YeonBin's 2021 Divorce Era:

The first divorce era occurred from mid-2021 until May 2022. I think it's likely that this was the result of YeonBin moving in together in March 2021, which made the company decide to censor them more heavily to compensate. I explain the evidence for them moving in together and getting engaged in this thread:

YeonBin ended up temporarily breaking up near the end of 2021 due to the increased pressure on their relationship. To be clear, the lack of their interactions in official content in 2021 was not caused by them breaking up, but rather the breakup came as an indirect result of the increased censorship.

The YeonBin content drought ended in May 2022 in connection with TXT's comeback for 'Minisode 2: Thursday's Child'. My understanding is that this divorce era ended in part because YeonBin got back together relationship-wise and because Yeonjun developed increased resolve to provide queer artistic representation at this time.

Thread proving TXT live in 2 separate dorms and Yeonjun + Soobin moved in together in 2021 🧵

Per 2025 fanmeets:

🐿️ We live on two floors.
💬 In the dorm, who rooms beside e/o?
🐧 Next to me is Taehyun.
💬 And next to Soobin?
🐧 I don’t remember, actually... Maybe... Yeonjun?

▶️ Evidence for censorship during the 2021 Divorce Era:

Unfortunately, it is impossible to prove a negative without simply linking you all of the content from the relevant time period. However, if you scroll through TXT's official YouTube channel from approximately June 2021 until May 2022, you will see that there is a significant lack of meaningful YeonBin interactions compared to the content right before and after this period. The contrast was especially stark to fans because warm and cute YeonBin interactions had been very heavy in the Korean promotional era right before this one (their comeback for 'Minisode 1: Blue Hour').

Attached are screenshots of fan comments testifying to the content drought during this period.

Also for reference, the most famous Korean analysis account for YeonBin (@.subzzn) wrote a long post describing their thoughts about YeonBin in 2021 (postype.com/@subzzn/post/1…). Attached is a translation of part of this post.

I will note that while subzzn makes some great insights in the full post, the YeonBin relationship timeline they describe in this post is inaccurate. They also do not acknowledge the biggest reason for YeonBin's "cold war" status in 2021, which was the company censoring them after they moved in together and got engaged in March.

▶️ Evidence that the 2021 YeonBin divorce era was specifically due to company censorship:

The YeonBin content drought appeared most notably in official, non-paywalled TXT content that was edited and uploaded by BigHit during this period. For example, all of the promotional content on TXT's YouTube channel for 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE' album showed basically zero YeonBin interactions.

By contrast, content that was edited and uploaded by companies other than BigHit during this exact same promotional period for 'FREEZE' showed YeonBin flirting and interacting in the same warm and intimate manner as before.

1. The 'FREEZE' comeback show behind uploaded by M2 on July 2, 2021 showed the attached footage of YeonBin acting couple-like.

2. The Studio Choom behind video for 'Magic' uploaded June 29, 2021 also showed YeonBin's cute playful interactions.

There were also YeonBin interactions in the paywalled 'TXT Memories' content from this time period--I will add the clips to this thread when I have time.

Soobin's comments in his birthday live from December 2021 also indicate that the serious personal hardship he was going through in 2021 related at least in part to censorship and an inability to express himself openly:
______

🎞️ Soobin's Weverse live on December 5, 2021:

🐰 "For me, this year was a bit... Should I say 2021 was kind of a "year of love and hate" for me? Honestly, 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE' album was really meaningful to me, and in a way, it’s a really good memory. It was an era and an album I really loved. But personally, this year, there was just something... I felt kind of like, "How could heaven give me a trial like this?" It was something that felt a little too overwhelming to bear. I went through a period that was kind of difficult for me alone, and that lasted quite a long time this year. I felt like I was really... wandering on the brink of death for a while. And honestly, I’m still in the process of getting through it..."

🐰"'Is there anything you want to do at the age of 22?" Well, I am 22 right now, but when I turn 23... I’m not sure. I just... I kind of want to live life just letting things flow naturally. If I'm happy, then just be happy, and if I'm sad, then just be sad. And if there’s something I want to do, just do it, And if I feel like sulking or making a fuss, then let myself do that too. Next year, I just want to let myself follow the flow and live that way."
______

As subzzn pointed out in their post, Soobin's comments about what he wanted to do the following year suggest that he felt he couldn't let himself naturally go with the flow in 2021. At the time of this live, Soobin seems to have felt that he could not let himself be happy when he was happy, be sad if he was sad, do things when he wanted to, or complain if he felt like complaining.

These comments provide a strong indication that the personal difficulties Soobin mentioned were tied to the increased censorship and restrictions placed on him in 2021.

Combined with Yeonjun's comments in Yeonjun's birthday live and Kai's birthday messages to both Soobin and Yeonjun in 2021, Soobin's monologue in this live also gives clues about the particular relationship conflict that he and Yeonjun had in response to the pushback they received from the company after taking their relationship more seriously 2021. I will cover that topic in detail in another thread.

The string-like black ring that Yeonjun wore in 2021-2022 is additional proof that YeonBin's lack of public interactions at that time was NOT due to them being distant off-camera. Yeonjun seems to have worn the ring as a public statement about his relationship status.

1. Yeonjun first appeared with the black ring on July 21, 2021.
2. The last time he appeared with it was March 22, 2022.
3. It was no longer on his finger in April 2022.

The period that Yeonjun wore this ring aligns almost exactly with the period of YeonBin's supposed first divorce era.

As Korean fans pointed out, a black ring worn on the middle finger is a symbol of asexuality. This is even noted in the entry on "asexuality" on NamuWiki, the popular Korean version of Wikipedia.
______

Additionally, YeonBin suddenly appeared wearing incredibly similar looking black string-like accessories on the same day (June 29, 2025).

Yeonjun wore a thin black bracelet and Soobin wore a thin black ring that looks exactly like the ring Yeonjun wore in 2021-2022. This happened in the same span of days that TXT were in Paris and YeonBin posted selfies showing themselves sitting together on a long international flight for the first time in a while.
______

A fan also reported going to the store that sold the ring. The store owner revealed that Soobin was a regular at the store "because he likes gifting people." The store owner had a display showing that Soobin previously bought a black ring that looks exactly like the one that Yeonjun started wearing in 2021. It's possible that Soobin may have bought the ring and gifted it to Yeonjun.
______

However, it does not actually matter if Soobin bought the ring for Yeonjun in 2021 or not.

It seems very likely that Yeonjun's ring was related to YeonBin's relationship, based on:

(1) the timeframe that Yeonjun wore his ring lining up almost exactly with YeonBin's 2021 divorce era,
(2) the way he wore his ring being associated with a symbol of "asexuality",
(3) YeonBin showing up with similar paired string-like black accessories on the same day during a period that they were actively showing their interactions in 2025, and
(4) Yeonjun wearing a black ring on the same finger in the Deja Vu MV (x.com/subzzn/status/…), which as I've explained is conceptually related to YeonBin ().

Based on all of this, I think we can interpret Yeonjun wearing the ring as an indirect reference to the romantic commitment they made in March 2021. It seems possible that the reason Yeonjun wore a ring that is a symbol of "asexuality" during YeonBin's first divorce era is because it was signaling his unavailability at the time, when he wasn't otherwise able to demonstrate that he already had a partner because they were being censored. Yeonjun's ring disappearing right when their public interactions picked back up indicates that the reason he had been wearing it became no longer applicable.

It just goes to show that the reason for their lack of interactions in 2021 was not because they were actually distant beginning in mid-2021, but because they could not appear close in public.

The intro to 'Deja Vu' MV visually depicts the narrative links between 'The Little Prince' book, the asteroid moon with the same name, and the star it orbits, 'Eugenia.' The MV also shows YeonBin's POV reversibility and YeonBin's censorship-related roleswap conspiracy with Beomgyu. It indicates that the promise "You & Me" made was a romantic commitment to be together in the future.
______

'Deja Vu' MV opens with the creation of a magical sphere in the darkness that divides into two different spheres, one larger, brighter one and a smaller, darker, blueish-green one. The larger sphere runs away and turns into the fennec fox and then into a star as it enters the giant eye. The smaller darker sphere chases after it, unable to catch it. The fact that these spheres split from a larger one, and one chases the other, implies that they are two halves of one whole that can only be complete if they reunite. The light, which is equated with the Fox and the Star, is the memory of "You" and their promise, which was forgotten when the fox disappeared inside the eye.

This 'Deja Vu' MV intro sequence is a clear YeonBin parallel, and indicates their roleswap in their censored and inverted PR reality.

The larger sphere is the asteroid, Eugenia, which is orbited by its moon/sputnik, Petit-Prince. Eugenia, the feminine version of Yeonjun's character's lore name, turns into the fennec fox, which we've established is also symbolically linked to Yeonjun. Eugenia turns into a pinpoint star as it enters the eye (the way that photons enter our pupils and get processed by receptors at the back of our eyes for us to see).

This is a visual metaphor suggesting that Eugenia's identity becomes indistinct and obscured when visually perceived. The MV intro also echoes the line from the book, that suggests essential truths cannot be seen directly: "some things are precious, but invisible to the eye."

Inside the "dream," which seems to be happening inside the giant eye, the real-life Yeonjun is chasing the light like the green sphere chased the fox. This is a visual metaphor suggesting that what fans watching the MV are visually perceiving inside their own eyes is the nightmare-like "dream" that is actually TXT's censored version of their essential truth. In this inverted PR version that can be seen directly with our eyes, the real-life Yeonjun has now swapped places with the Petit-Prince moon (which represents Soobin, who has been most strongly paralleled with the Little Prince character in the album) that was chasing the fox/star Eugenia.

At the end of the MV, Yeonjun reunites with the sparkling, ghostly-looking and feminine long-haired real-life Beomgyu. This suggests that Beomgyu was playing the role of Eugenia, or Yeonjun's feminine true self, while Yeonjun was playing the role of Soobin.

Beomgyu's Comments About 'Deja Vu' MV:

🧸 To be honest, I was kind of sad. In the music video, I acted as the person that the members were chasing in their dreams.
👥 Right, right.
🧸 You know, I put in hair extensions and worked hard filming... but it was all covered with sparkling lights. When I was filming the music video, the director said, "Beomgyu, we need to film you so that no one knows who you are. That goes for both gender and identity. You need to film it so that no one knows."
🧸 Ah, I knew that while filming, but I didn't know that it would be covered up with lights like that!
🐿️ The shining bride in a veil was you.
🧸 I know. / 🐧 That's true.
🧸 That's why the clearer long-haired picture of me that was uploaded on Instagram had a much better response than the music video. I was like, "oh no, quickly!" and I uploaded it on IG right away.

'Deja Vu' MV was thus a visual metaphor depicting the complicated three-way roleswap conspiracy that the members have been acting out in real life, caused by the PR censorship strategy enforced on them since debut under their initial 7-year contracts. Yeonjun has been forced to hide his feminine gender identity and act masculine, Soobin has had a passive feminine "omega bottom" PR image forced on him (especially in their early years), and Beomgyu has had to act as a stand-in for Yeonjun/Soobin in ship fanservice narratives with the other half of YeonBin.
______

The 'Deja Vu' MV depicts the journey in the dream of chasing the feeling of their promise and forgotten love without remembering their true origin or identity. The MV and lyrics reference all of TXT's previous eras to recap the journey and convey the feeling of "deja vu."

It shows that TXT's discography narrative has been consistent and that it has always centered YeonBin's story being represented through various allegorical versions of "You & Me." The theme of them running away and not wanting to grow up because they're too scared to face reality is a recurrent theme, depicted in 'Run Away,' 'Crown,' 'Loser=Lover,' etc. The "starting line" is a reference to the lyrics of 'Magic Island,' where the "start line" is the island of dreams where they made the promise with "You," their star. The lyrics state that the reunion between "You & Me" will be like deja vu, mirroring their connection at the start, as they reunite under the same starry sky where they made their promise.
______

Importantly, the promise between "You & Me" is framed in the language of marriage. This indicates that the "promise" they made has always been about the consummation of a romantic commitment to be together in "tomorrow."

'Deja Vu' Lyrics:
🎵 "I promise you, over and over, my future is you / Under the veil of light / I'll hug you tight, who will be sparkling like a bride."

______

'Deja Vu' Lyrics (Translation):

I ran away countless times, just out of fear
Leaving you waiting at the starting line
The morse code amidst the ruins
An old promise, promise
Not knowing the reason for my tears, my anemoia

You and I, under the starlit promise
Before our dust-piled crown
Like the dream carved in my soul, once again,
be my eternity, say my name

I remember, the answer I finally found
My future is you; say my name
I'll hug you tight, just like the promise on the first day
Like deja vu, you're like deja vu
Say it, say it, say it, say it louder

In the flaming rain that burns me
Within that long, eternal journey
The sadness we shared is my clarity
Is by your tears
Oh, even when I'm falling, you're all I need

Amid all the ruins, our place of promise
The land of rest, the recurrence of eternity
You're the one that waited for me
I remember, the answer I finally found
My future is you

I promise you, over and over, my future is you
Under the veil of light
I'll hug you tight, who will be shining like a bride
Like deja vu, you're like deja vu
Say it, say it, say it, say it louder
______

'Magic Island' Lyrics (Translation):

Even the stars are asleep tonight
The river so familiar and yet so strange
Crossing the ashen gray city
Have you been waiting for me alone
Our clumsy promises
and a little secret began on the little island

Remember? The song of your and my star
In it, we were stars
The melody that sparkled with dreams
Please don’t ever forget

This place here is our start line
our start line
the starlight we watched together that night
Must not forget the night
Must not forget this place

Would it all be in vain
Would all our dreams become memories
This voyage has become adrift
Seems like I forgot how to smile
At the end of the gray reality
and when darkness calls me again

Remember? When we were here
That day we were stars
The little song we left on this island

Please don’t ever forget
This place here is our start line

2️⃣ YeonBin's 2024 Divorce Era:

The second divorce era occurred from late 2023 until late 2024. It began as a period of increased censorship, which was imposed by the company because YeonBin had negotiated to be allowed to do their subunit song, 'The Killa (I Belong To You).' This song is explicitly queer and reflects YeonBin's genuine relationship dynamics, as I explained in my discography thread (). In exchange for being able to do such a directly queer song together, they had to accept heavier restrictions from the company. This included both on-camera censorship, as well as increased couple-like fanservice narratives between Soobin and Beomgyu (including SooGyu's Vietnam trip in February 2024).

The increased closeting and heavier fanservice, along with Yeonjun being busy focusing on his solo work in 2024, caused significant relationship friction between YeonBin. Their increasing emotional distance also worsened the YeonBin content drought. The only content that fans got of them until late 2024 was basically their 'The Killa' live performances.

The 2024 divorce era ended around October 2024, partly in connection with TXT's comeback.

Due to YeonBin's conflicting life priorities and the sacrifices required for them to stay together, there is also a common theme that their relationship "kills" one of them metaphorically and turns them into what is essentially a ghost.

This idea is most explicit in the lyrics and choreography of YeonBin's unit song, 'The Killa (I Belong To You).' It's also expressed in Yeonjun's 'Ghost Girl,' which is covered in my 'Together' album thread.

'The Killa' was written specifically for Yeonjun and Soobin as a unit, with Yeonjun and Taehyun supposedly contributing to the lyrics. As Taehyun implied repeatedly, the individual lines that Soobin and Yeonjun sing in 'The Killa' are meant to reflect their genuine relationship dynamic, since the verses were specifically tailored to each of them.

Although Taehyun talked about writing lyrics for 'The Killa', it is almost certain that Soobin ghostwrote them and allowed Taehyun to take credit. This was likely done so that Taehyun could provide commentary about the creative process behind the song, since Yeonjun was censored from speaking about his own lyric writing process for it.
______

K-Pop ON! Playlist Take Over:

🐿️ Since the unit was already decided when we received the track, I wrote the lyrics while wondering what kind of lines Soobin-hyung and Yeonjun-hyung should each say to make MOAs faint.
🐿️ What kind of song is it, exactly?
🐰 It’s a unit track by us 'Hyungaz', Soobin and Yeonjun. It expresses a dying thirst for affection that a simple 'I love you' just can't capture. It conveys sentiments like, 'Please tame me and make me yours.'
🦊 Taehyun and I actually participated in writing the lyrics for this one. Please give it lots of love!

250408 TXT "Our 'Tomorrow'" Video:

🐿️ I put a lot of thought into it while writing. What I thought about was… Between you (Yeonjun) and Soobin-hyung, who should say which lines, to make MOAs get more of a nosebleed?
______

The main premise of 'The Killa' is that they view their partner not just as a lover, but as their "killer"—someone they actively encourage to dominate and consume their individual identity so they can exist only as an extension of the other. The desire to be "tamed" and "killed" by the other is an expression of extreme romantic passion.

'The Killa' Lyrics:
🎵 "I'll only obey you, I'll serve you, you kill me."
🎵 "You are the fever that makes me ache / I pray you'll finally wipe me out."
🎵 "I melt down and disappear completely / I spread through you as part of you."
🎵 "My heart and soul, they're all yours."
🎵 "I've been tamed; belonging to you makes me happier."

The idea that YeonBin kill each other when they come together is expressed in their mirrored verses expressing this sentiment, and through the choreography as they mime aiming a gun at each other. Due to the reversible yin yang-like nature of YeonBin's narrative, the themes in the discography can generally be interpreted through either Soobin's or Yeonjun's POV. There is thus an implication that they mutually annihilate each other when they come together, echoing the idea from 'Blue Orangeade' that negative one plus positive one make zero.
______

However, there is a stronger implication that Soobin is actually the one who is "killed" emotionally and professionally by their relationship. Staying with Yeonjun as an idol and supporting Yeonjun's career aspirations required Soobin to make sacrifices. These sacrifices included agreeing to lie about their relationship, which goes against Soobin's fundamental life principles, as well as giving up his discography credits and royalties to Bang Si-hyuk.

The lyrics of 'The Killa' hint at Yeonjun's role as Soobin's "killer," since Yeonjun is the one who sings this line:

🎵 "In this moment, gripped in the palm of your hand, my soul is the killa, forever yours."

Soobin's identity as TXT's ghostwriter is also implied through the theme of him "bearing the cost of their sins" and dying, because giving up his discography credits resulted in Soobin essentially vanishing from public view in this respect, becoming a "ghost" writer. He disappears and becomes part of TXT's and Yeonjun's artistic success, without getting acknowledgement for it. This is alluded to in these lines:

🎵 "Forget about things like guilt—you don't need it /
Because the full cost of our sins is mine to bear / All you have to do is claim me."
🎵 "Only you are the 'everything' above the void of my deficiency (absence/emptiness)."
🎵 "I melt down and disappear completely / I spread through you as part of you."

______

'The Killa (I Belong To You)' Lyrics (Translation):

(Tame me)

I crave you more and more, oh
You know I want you bad, show me mercy
The powerful tie of fate in what seems like coincidence
The moment we saw one another in each other's eyes

Want you to tame me now
Even if you torment me with a smile, you're worth it
You, who smiles and asks 'what do you mean?'
I'll only obey you, I'll serve you, you kill me

The killa
My heart and soul, they're all yours

You're the fever that makes me ache
I pray you'll finally wipe me out
Like champagne
Your reign on me is too sweet
I go crazy, giving myself up for you
Instead of the overused words te quiero,
I say I belong (to ya)

The killa-a-a-a
Tame me, fill me up with you
I melt down and disappear completely
I spread through you as part of you
The killa-a-a-a
I've been tamed, belonging to you makes me happier
This is my own te quiero
I wanna belong (to ya)

Only you are the 'everything' above the void of my deficiency
Rule over me, and I shall yield under your power
You are the only one I want
In this moment, gripped in the palm of your hand,
my soul is the killa—forever yours

You, you, you
Forget about things like guilt—you don't need it
Because the full cost of our sins is mine to bear
All you have to do is claim me

Baby, now, now, now, now
Yes, I belong to you
Death in ecstasy, round two
I dedicate eternity to you—I'll serve it, kill me
My heart and soul, they're all yours

▶️ Evidence for censorship during the 2024 Divorce Era:

Similar to 2021, it is difficult to comprehensively prove a negative without simply linking all of the official content from 2024. However, there are some comparisons other people have compiled showing the difference between YeonBin's interactions in 2024 compared to 2025-2026.

For example, see the attached clips that show:

1. YeonBin avoiding touching hands in the group huddle in 2024 vs. touching hands in 2026, and Soobin avoiding putting his arm on Yeonjun's shoulder in 2024 vs. putting his arm around Yeonjun in 2025.

2. Soobin avoiding touching Yeonjun's back during 'I'll See You There Tomorrow' dance practice in 2024 vs. sliding his arm across Yeonjun's back in 2026.

3. Soobin ranking members according to handsomeness in his September 2024 live. His "subjective" ranking was himself, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and his "objective" ranking was Taehyun, Kai (he didn't mention Yeonjun at all).

4. Compare the above to Soobin's answer in 2025 for which member he would choose to be reborn as:
🐰 "Just the face? If it's just the face, I'd go with… Yeonjun."

5. Comparison of MV behind (filmed in 2024) vs. music show behind (filmed in 2025) for Soobin and Yeonjun's performance as the fictional group HIBOYZ on the k-drama 'Resident Playbook.' (See subzzn's post for reference )

▶️ Evidence that the 2024 YeonBin divorce era was primarily due to company censorship:

1. The best evidence of the increased censorship by the company in early 2024 is the TXT Paris vlog filmed in late January 2024 and posted February 22, 2024. There are indications in this video that Soobin and Yeonjun interacted off-camera, but that these interactions were purposely and meticulously edited out of the final video.

The attached analysis video by @.paranoidnyanya shows the indications that Soobin and Yeonjun sat beside each other in the Asian restaurant. It also shows the subtle evidence that they sat together conversing at a separate smaller table in the European restaurant at dinner.

For reference, attached is a 2.5x sped-up version of the Paris vlog with extended solo member footage edited out. It shows all the interactions between members that can be seen in the final uploaded YouTube video. There is a lot of Soobin and Beomgyu interacting and acting like a couple, taking photos of each other. There is no footage anywhere in the full 20 minute video that directly shows any interactions between Soobin and Yeonjun, even though the editors left in interactions with all the other members.

This vlog makes it clear that although Soobin and Yeonjun were continuing to interact closely in real life, the official content was being strictly edited to remove any indications that they were interacting off-camera.
______

2. Another piece of evidence we have for YeonBin still interacting normally off-camera in early 2024 is the video Soobin posted for Yeonjun's birthday message in September 2025 ().

The video Soobin posted was one he took of Yeonjun during a concept shoot for the 'TOMORROW' album, released April 2024. It appears as if Soobin was just filming Yeonjun for no reason (because he looked cute?) while Yeonjun was posing for the concept shoot. Yeonjun notices Soobin filming him and mimes the choreo to Sunmi's '24 Hours', then playfully raises his hand as if to smack Soobin's phone.

This clip indicates YeonBin were still on good terms at the time, even though the company's editors were cutting almost all of their interactions from official content.

More YeonBin censorship evidence is also covered in my thread about staff prohibiting Yeonjun from expressing his affection towards Soobin on camera. ⬇️

@mariniste
HYBE censors gay people@mariniste
Yeonjun has been unable to be genuinely open about his affection towards Soobin on camera, because HYBE staff don't allow it. 🧵

Kai and Taehyun picked Soobin and Yeonjun as the members who were the “least honest” in 2024. This is because 2024 was Yeonbin's 2nd "divorce era."
14
Another form of censorship has been Soobin using Beomgyu's name as a stand-in for Yeonjun's name when telling stories about things that Soobin actually did with Yeonjun.

🎞️ In this Mezamashi Media interview posted on May 6, 2024, the members' reactions indicate that Soobin was actually talking about Yeonjun being a sore loser, but said Beomgyu's name instead:

👤 I know you've visited Japan many times, but do you have a favorite Japanese word?
🐰 For me, it's "往生際が悪い (being a sore loser)."
👤 You learned a hard one! When do you use that?
🐰 For example, if he and I played a game 1-on-1…
🐧 (Kai seems to be laughing and pointing at Yeonjun's dark expression on the monitor)
🐰 … and he lost—Beomgyu did…
🐧🦊 (Kai's eyes widen and he and Yeonjun suddenly look up at Soobin like they didn't expect to hear Beomgyu's name)
🐰 But he keeps persistently whining, 'Just one more round!' Then I say, "Ah, you're such a sore loser."

It seems the members were aware that Soobin previously used this Japanese expression towards Yeonjun. That may be why Yeonjun was looking down at Soobin's hand with a dark expression and why Kai was seemingly pointing and laughing at Yeonjun's expression on the self-monitor. Beomgyu may also have subtly tried to turn to look at Yeonjun when he laughed.

However, as soon as Soobin said Beomgyu's name, Kai and Yeonjun suddenly looked up at Soobin.

Kai's wide-eyed reaction honestly makes no sense if he wasn't expecting Soobin to be talking about Yeonjun. Kai looks clearly surprised specifically at hearing Beomgyu's name, despite laughing at Soobin's explanation up to that point.
______

The fact that Soobin was actually talking about Yeonjun being a sore loser when they play games together is backed up by Soobin's comments about Yeonjun being a sore loser on other occasions:

🎞️ In TXT's episode of Human Idol Theater posted on October 14, 2023, they improvised their acting based on the scenario given to them on set. Soobin and Yeonjun played an elderly married couple.

After Yeonjun won a round of the liar game, Soobin commented in character about Yeonjun:

🐰 "You all have to understand… If this 영감 (old man/my husband) loses even one game, his hands shake, tears stream down, and he can't fall asleep all night."

🎞️ In YeonBin's Weverse live on October 25, 2023, Soobin also made these comments after winning in Tekken against Yeonjun:

🐰 What should I do? I’ve already won 3 in a row.
🦊 Let's play one more round.
🐰 Just one more?
🦊 5 wins... Let's go with winning 5 times.
🐰 Okay, let's fill it up to 5 wins. I'll play another character for you.
🦊 Be quiet… This really hurts my pride… I have to do this.
🐰 Hyung, I think you should just give up on this.
🦊 Be quiet.
(Soobin wins again)
🐰 Haha! You can't beat me.
(...)
🐰 But I don't think I'm being very considerate of you, hyung. I'll switch to another character for you.
🦊 Shhh.
🐰 This just hurts my heart too much.
🦊 You're just… I think that Noctis character is just good.
🐰 You can't see it, but next to me right now, Yeonjun-hyung's hands and feet are trembling and he's weeping tears of blood.
(...)
🐰 Yeonjun-hyung seems to be having such a hard time, so I will change characters.
🦊 One second. I'm hot.
🐰 I'm sure you are. You must be pretty mad.
🦊 Hey, just press start already.
(Soobin wins again)
🐰 Hyung, you weren't that bad. What can you do when I'm just good at this?
🦊 Want to play one more match? I've got the hang of it now.
(Soobin wins again)
🐰 Everyone…
🦊 This is seriously unbelievable.
🐰 We played about 6 or 7 matches and I won them all. I didn't lose even a single match.
🐰 Don't cry. (Pretends to wipe away Yeonjun's tears)
🦊 I'm not crying.
🐰 I just showed you all what it looks like when he weeps tears of blood.
🦊 No, everyone, it’s just because this was my first time playing it today. If I play this for a week, I'll be able to beat you.
🦊 Well, like, whatever… Good job. Yeah, congrats.
🐰 Review of today…
🦊 You did a great job!
🐰 Yeonjun lost to Soobin 7 times in a row at Tekken. He didn't win even a single match.
🦊 You're really annoying.

In addition to swapping Beomgyu's name for Yeonjun's, there also seems to have been a cover protocol that instructed Soobin to add Beomgyu's name if he was mentioning Yeonjun.

🎞️ On Beomedio Ep.8 on February 7, 2025, Yeonjun made a self-deprecating remark (calling himself 'moon-faced') after gaining weight. Soobin wanted to comfort Yeonjun about his appearance, but Soobin's reaction right before indicates that he suddenly remembered he had to mention/include Beomgyu before telling Yeonjun "you look prettier when you gain weight."

You can see Soobin suddenly remembering the protocol to name Beomgyu first at 0:26 in the attached fancam:

🦊 It's my first time since trainee days, reaching 67, 68 kg?
🐰 Ohh~
🦊 Speaking of which…
🦊 (To Kai) You asked me what I did the most over the break, right? Thinking about it, it was eating. I ate three meals a day, completely filling myself up every time
👥 (Fans yelling) Good job!
🦊 It's not a 'good job', now on screen…
🐰 Haha, 'not a good job'--
🦊 ... I'm like a full moon.
🐰 (Soobin's face falls as soon as he hears Yeonjun call himself '달덩이' = like a full moon/moon-faced, which is a somewhat unflattering expression.)
🦊 (To fans) Thank you.
🐰 (Soobin is clearly trying to think of something to say to comfort Yeonjun, but as soon as he is about to speak, he suddenly whips his head around to look at Beomgyu.)
🐰 I think that Beomgyu, Yeonjun-hyung and Taehyun… you three look prettier when you gain weight.
🐧 Right, that's true.
🐰 For you three--
🦊 Oh, really?
🐰 Yeah… It looks good on you.
🦊 Ah, thanks.

It's evident from Soobin's expression that he was surprised and upset to hear Yeonjun making a self-deprecating remark about his weight. You can see Soobin's thought process on his face as he tries to come up with something comforting to say. It's also clear that his comment "you look prettier when you gain weight" was intended to directly comfort Yeonjun about what Yeonjun had just said, since Beomgyu and Taehyun had not brought up being unhappy over gaining weight.

Yet, right before he spoke, Soobin suddenly whipped his head around as if he remembered at the last moment that he couldn't simply give Yeonjun a direct compliment, but he had to include Beomgyu's name first.

The second clip attached is the edited video uploaded on Weverse, showing more of the context for their exchange. Soobin's reaction before he speaks isn't shown, but I've included the clip for reference.

The company's censorship also included scripted narratives about Soobin and Beomgyu being the members with the closest relationship.

🎞️ On Beomedio Ep.8, it seems that Soobin was forced to frame his answer as if he and Beomgyu had been in touch the most during Soobin's hiatus.

The discrepancy is highlighted by Soobin emphasizing the difference between which member he "saw" most often versus which member "contacted him" most often. It makes it obvious that the member Soobin actually MET the most during his hiatus was someone other than Beomgyu:

🧸 When you visited the dorm, what did you do for fun?
🐰 This was different with every member. There were those I went bowling with, there were member(s) who went for walks with me, there were member(s) where we had drinks and talked. I hung out with them in various ways.
🧸 Then, which member contacted you the most often?
🐰 The member I SAW the most?
🧸 The member who CONTACTED you.
🐰 Contacted? Hmm…
🐰 Taehyun seems like he's looking forward to this one, with his shining eyes.
🐿️ No, not at all! It's just because you haven't seen me for some time, they look sparkly.
🐰 Ah, that might be it.
🐰 But, I think... First of all, Beomgyu is definitely the overwhelming number one. Beomgyu… and I’m really not even exaggerating… Beomgyu contacted me almost every single day for about two months.
🐿️ Then let’s just know up to second place.
🐰 No, I want to rank them all. Second place is Taehyun, because he also reached out to me really often. He called me a lot and we often had video calls.
🐰 Third place is Yeonjun-hyung. He messaged me from time to time asking how I was. He contacted me a little past midnight on my birthday, and sent a New Year's message, too. I got a lot from Yeonjun-hyung, too.

Although Beomgyu asked "which member contacted you the most," Soobin tried to clarify if the question was "which member I SAW most often?" The word for "contacted" (연락한 'yeol-lak-han') sounds completely different and is also a different grammatical tense from the word for "saw" (봤던 'bwat-deon'). Beomgyu spoke clearly, so it's very unlikely Soobin misheard him. Instead, it seems that Soobin was contrasting the two questions because the answer to them was different.

The way that Soobin hesitated after Beomgyu clarified is also a bit strange if the answer to both questions was the same, especially since Beomgyu was apparently the absolutely obvious number one choice for the member who "contacted" Soobin the most.

Judging from Beomgyu's self-satisfied smile as he asks and repeats the question, he knew that he was the member who contacted Soobin the most. However, if the answer to both questions was the same, Beomgyu would not have insisted that Soobin specifically identify only "the member who CONTACTED you the most." Emphasizing the distinction suggests that Beomgyu already knew whom Soobin had met the most during his hiatus, and knew that it wasn't him.
1:35
17
The fact that Soobin was forced to lie about being in touch with Beomgyu the most during his hiatus is supported by Soobin's Dream Week interview, filmed in February 2025 right after his return from hiatus.

🎞️ Soobin's message to Yeonjun suggests Yeonjun was actually the member he had "met" most often:

🐰 Yeonjun-hyung not only contacted me quite often, but also, from the other members, (I heard) that Yeonjun-hyung, in the time I wasn't there, had constantly 찾았다 (looked for/found) me…
🐰 (Soobin sends an almost angry glance off-camera and makes a grammatically strange pause right after the word for 'looked for/found')
🐰 … is the story I heard.
🐰 So you're glad I'm back, right?
🐰 (Fake-sounding laugh)

The word 찾았다 means both "looked for/sought out" and also "found/met," though in this context the more obvious reading is the first one.

It seems that Soobin was forced to say something on camera to make it seem like he and Yeonjun didn't meet often. So the surface meaning of his words is that he heard from the other members that Yeonjun "looked for/sought him," i.e., expressed missing him often. However, because Soobin tries to avoid telling outright lies about their relationship if he can help it, Soobin worded his message in a way that could be taken to mean the opposite of the surface meaning of his words.

Soobin pauses and puts a grammatically strange emphasis right after "찾았다는," which is conjugated with the grammatically sticky suffix -다는 ("the thing called/about...") that acts as a bridge. It cannot exist without a noun to follow it (in this case, 얘기 = "talk/story"). By pausing right in between 찾았다는 and 얘기, it creates a moment of grammatical tension that brings the listener's attention to the act/meaning of 찾았다는.

Combined with Soobin's purposeful and almost angry glance off-camera (at staff?) during that pause, it seems he wanted fans to realize that he was using 찾았다는 as a double entendre, and that he was implying that Yeonjun had actually MET Soobin often during his hiatus. Soobin's specific phrasing can basically be interpreted as him saying "the members mentioned/complained/teased that, while I was away from the dorm, you actually met up with me a lot."

This reading is reinforced by Soobin's fake-sounding laugh, which suggests that Yeonjun being "glad that Soobin is back" is ironic, because Soobin was not "absent" that often from Yeonjun's perspective.

This also aligns with the implication in Soobin's exchange with Beomgyu on Beomedio Ep.8 that Beomgyu was not the member that Soobin "saw" the most.
______

The idea that Yeonjun frequently met Soobin outside of the dorm during his hiatus is also consistent with the implication of YeonBin's verses in TXT's cover of 'Love Story.' As I noted in my other thread (), this cover came out a few days before Soobin went on hiatus and seemed to give hints about YeonBin secretly meeting up during Soobin's hiatus:

Yeonjun's 'Love Story' Lines:
🎵 "My faith in you was fading / When I met you on the outskirts of town"

Soobin's 'Love Story' Lines:
🎵 "So I sneak out to the garden to see you / We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew / So close your eyes / Escape this town for a little while"

HYBE censors gay people@mariniste
The Little Prince is framed as a "Lost Romeo" in the 'Romantic' concept clip for 'TOMORROW' album, in order to emphasize that the "Romeo and Juliet" story has been another important theme in the YeonBin conspiracy lore.
______

'Romeo and Juliet' is an archetypal story about forbidden love between two "star-crossed" lovers. Forbidden by their families and society from being together, Romeo and Juliet are forced to keep their romance secret, until eventually meeting their tragic, self-inflicted deaths.

Romeo and the Little Prince parallel each other because they both choose to take poison and die, viewing death not as an end but as a means to shed their physical bodies to join with their beloved. Juliet is paralleled with the Prince's flower, which he encases in glass to protect her from the cold. When Juliet is found in her death-like trance after taking a sleeping potion, her father remarks "Death lies on her like an untimely frost / Upon the sweetest flower of all the field." Both Juliet and the Rose are flowers "frosted over" with death-like sleep or a glass shell.

As mentioned, the Little Prince is desperate to return to his Rose, and allows a poisonous snake to bite him because he believes his body is "too heavy" to take back to his star, comforting the narrator that "it will be like an old abandoned shell." Similarly, when Romeo hears of Juliet's apparent death, he buys poison that he calls a "cordial"—a medicinal tonic that will heal the pain of separation and reunite him with Juliet. Inside her crypt, Romeo drinks the poison so he can "set up my everlasting rest and shake the yoke of inauspicious stars from my world-wearied flesh" to stay with her. Both the Prince and Romeo view death as a way of shedding their physical bodies to reunite with their beloved in a world beyond. When Juliet awakens and finds Romeo dead, she kills herself to join him.
______

In the YeonBin conspiracy lore, Soobin is represented by both the Little Prince and Romeo because he also chose to figuratively "die" or take a "long sleep" to stay with his beloved, Yeonjun. YeonBin's debut as part of TXT was like the boundary marking their "deaths," as they entered their initial 7-year contracts that would subject them to censorship. This censorship is constantly referenced as being akin to being 'dead while alive,' because it alienated them from their authentic selves and inverted their relationship, turning their world "upside down."

YeonBin have also repeatedly associated themselves with the story of 'Romeo and Juliet' through their covers and song recommendations. It is clear that they identify strongly with this story of forbidden star-crossed lovers that figuratively die to be together, and that it has informed the TXT discography lore.

______

TXT released a full cover of Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' on November 15, 2024, right before Soobin's hiatus, which was announced November 19. The content of 'Love Story' is explicitly about Romeo and Juliet's love story.

As I explained in my other thread, TXT's live on November 17 contained coded skits attempting to reveal YeonBin's relationship, and the members indicated that Soobin's hiatus was planned ahead of time as part of their rebellion against the company's censorship (see my thread here: x.com/mariniste/stat…).

The 'Love Story' cover also came out the day after YeonBin's November 14 duo live, which was their first live together in a year (after getting heavily censored for most of 2024). In this live, Soobin seemed to be visibly frustrated for most of the live and seemed to be arguing with someone on his phone. Fans even commented on this and asked what he was doing, and he explained that he had invited a member to join the live. When Yeonjun joined him near the end of the live, he said that staff had sent him up to join the live. This strongly implies that Soobin may have been texting and arguing with staff to let Yeonjun join him.

Notably, TXT performed a shorter (possibly censored) version of 'Love Story' on November 8 for 'The Seasons: Rainbow of Lee Young Ji,' but this shorter version didn't contain the full YeonBin verses that hinted most strongly at forbidden romance.

The full digital cover of 'Love Story' came out on November 15. Taehyun and Kai also did a very short Weverse live that day, where the only thing of substance they talked about was the 'Love Story' cover coming out. They specifically made a point of explaining that TXT members chose the song themselves, implied that they pushed the company to let them do the cover, and Taehyun clarified that 'Love Story' was "the only candidate" for which song they would cover.

This makes it absolutely clear that the song was related to the YeonBin coming-out conspiracy, because there is no other reason why this Taylor Swift song of all songs on the planet would randomly be "the only candidate" they were considering for a cover that TXT members themselves arranged and asked to do.

Taehyun and Kai Weverse Live on November 15, 2024:

🐧 'Love Story' is so good, right?
🐿️ Oh, the digital track came out.
🐧 Yes, the song's so good, seriously
🐿️ It was Kai's idea…
🐧 I was originally going to do it as a cover song, but we thought it’d be even better if we all sang it together, so we prepared it like this as a gift.
🐿️ It was the only candidate.
🐧 Yeah.
🐿️ We did a lot on "The Seasons." We sang 'Heaven,' too.
🐧 We were going to do it within this year, but it kept feeling like it was getting pushed back, so we were like, "Screw it. Let’s just do it now," and told them to get it set up.
______

'Love Story' is explicitly about Romeo and Juliet's love story, and the specific verses that YeonBin sing are also the lines that most strongly reference having a forbidden secret romance, and hint at them "meeting on the outskirts of town" (i.e. meeting up during Soobin's upcoming hiatus). By contrast, the lines that the other members sing relate much less strongly to the forbidden secret romance aspect of the story.

Yeonjun's 'Love Story' Lines:
🎵 "'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter / And my daddy said, 'Stay away from Juliet' / But you were everything to me / I was begging you, 'Please don't go,' and I said—"
🎵 "Romeo, save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel / This love is difficult, but it's real / Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess / It's a love story, baby, just say, 'Yes.'"
🎵 "My faith in you was fading / When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said—" (This is immediately followed by Soobin's second verse)

Soobin's 'Love Story' Lines:
🎵 "So I sneak out to the garden to see you / We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew / So close your eyes / Escape this town for a little while."
🎵 "'Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone / I keep waiting for you, but you never come.'"

NOTE: Yeonjun's line, "I was a scarlet letter," means being a person who is socially stigmatized, publicly shamed, or marked as an outcast due to a perceived disgraceful, forbidden or sinful behavior.

_______

'Love Story' Lyrics:

We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes and the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony, in summer air

See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns
See you make your way through the crowd
And say, "Hello"
Little did I know

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, "Please don't go"

And I said "Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince, and I'll be the princess
It's a love story, baby, just say yes"

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while, oh, oh

'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
But you were everything to me
I was begging you, "Please don't go"

Romeo, save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story, baby, just say yes

I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you was fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town

And I said "Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you, but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think"

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring
And said "Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone
I love you, and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story, baby, just say yes"

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

Another example of Soobin hinting at a censorship policy that prevented him from directly complimenting Yeonjun can be seen in Soobin's October 17, 2024 Weverse live.

In this live, Soobin was giving spoilers for TXT's upcoming 'Sanctuary' album and naming the members that he thought pulled off the album concept shoots well.

🐰 'Knight' version... Hmm. I remember two people. Everyone came out well, but if I had to choose, there were two people?
🐰 One of them... Ah, whatever, I'll just say it--
🐰 Yeonjun-hyung has always been good at this concept. He came out as well as expected.

It seems like Soobin was conflicted over whether to say Yeonjun's name or not, then decided that he didn't care about whatever was holding him back, and just said it. It's not clear why he would have hesitated to name Yeonjun as one of the members who pulled off the concept well.

However, this live happened after the September 2, 2024 live where Soobin had failed to name Yeonjun in his ranking of the group's most handsome members (see my post above ). It seems that Soobin had been holding himself back from complimenting Yeonjun in the September live, whereas in this live he decided that he didn't care about censoring himself.

5. Comparison of MV behind (filmed in 2024) vs. music show behind (filmed in 2025) for Soobin and Yeonjun's performance as the fictional group HIBOYZ on the k-drama 'Resident Playbook.' (See subzzn's post for reference x.com/subzzn/status/…)

When TXT had the upper hand during contract renewal negotiations in July-August 2025, the video and caption editing brought fans' attention to examples of YeonBin censorship.

🎞️ In the attached Seoul Music Awards behind video uploaded July 8, 2025, Soobin and Yeonjun wipe their mouths/saliva on each other. The footage of the acts is cut out, but the final video shows the aftermath. The editors' captions also subtly acknowledge the censorship.

The video first shows an abrupt cut after Soobin apparently wiped his lips on Yeonjun's arm. The caption says that's what happened.

Then a bit later, there's another abrupt cut after Yeonjun apparently wiped his saliva on Soobin's neck using his thumb. The captions say "이번엔 연준이 묻힘ㅋㅋㅋ" which can be interpreted as "This time, Yeonjun gets buried/hidden/covered up, lol."

This caption seems to be a tongue-in-cheek acknowledgement of the fact that the footage of YeonBin putting their saliva on each other was abruptly cut for no apparent reason, even though the aftermath was shown and their actions were disclosed anyway through the captions.

It's also strange that the footage of Yeonjun apparently wiping his licked thumb on Soobin's neck was cut, since the video shows Yeonjun touching Beomgyu's ass right after.
______

🎞️ This censorship of YeonBin's interactions was also contrasted with the behind video posted two weeks beforehand, on June 24, 2025. That earlier behind video fully showed footage of the members putting their butts on Beomgyu's face, with Kai's ass literally making contact with Beomgyu's face.

None of that footage was cut, even though it was much more potentially "inappropriate/embarrassing." Yet in the next group behind video, the footage of Soobin wiping his lips on Yeonjun's arm and Yeonjun wiping his thumb on Soobin's neck was apparently cut for no reason. Their actions were also disclosed, which erases any reasonable justification for why editors cut the actual footage of their actions.

It's very hard to explain the discrepancy without simply pointing to the fact that footage of overly familiar/intimate YeonBin interactions gets cut as a matter of company policy.
