So I just saw this and thought it would be fun to try since I haven't done any of the lists of questions or fun facts about me or whatever kind of posts in a while.

Cute anime characters only, of course!

I bet you can guess who my first character will be

Day 1 - Himesaka Noa

shocker, right? She is the cutest, after all

Day 2 - Touyoko Momoko

I could spend two months just on amazing Saki characters (and I would, if it made season 3 more likely). Stealth Momo has always been one of my pocket favorites. She's understated compared to the other wacky characters in the show, but has plenty of charm!

Day 3 - Tsukamoto Yakumo

The quiet but super-kind mind reader from the fantastic School Rumble. I always waffle on whether I prefer her or her sister Tenma, but today I'll highlight Yakumo. Wonderful vocal performance from Noto Mamiko too!

Day 4 - Stephanie Dola

Continuing the trend of anime that deserve more seasons! I love arrogant, overconfident, but actually dumb/useless butt-of-the-joke characters. Episode 5's dog-girl punishment game is some of my favorite fanservice ever. Hits me right in the fetishes

Day 5 - Hanayagi Kaoruko

Daiba Nana is my obvious favorite Revue Starlight character, but I don't think Kaoruko gets enough love. She's a total jerk but I find her rudeness cute and endearing. I like haughty princess types. Plus, her voice and dialect are just fantastic!

Day 6 - Hinata Kaho

Gotta pick a twin-tailed cutie on Twintail Day! Kaho is full of infectious happy energy and super pretty. She's also a 🚨GAMER🚨 and has the same seiyuu as the best anime girl, Himesaka Noa!!

Day 7 - Domestic Dog (Mixed-Breed)

Ieinu is one of my favorite characters in Kemono Friends season 2. I loooove dog girls and she did not disappoint! Cute design, adorable irrationally happy and super loyal dog-like personality, and an emotional bit of tragic/lonely backstory.

Day 8 - Elucia de Lute Ima

The World God Only Knows is full of amazing characters, but Elsie might be my favorite. She's got the hyperactive, clumsy, adorable airhead thing down to a science. I didn't watch the entire anime adaptation of TWGOK, but it's my second favorite manga.

Day 9 - Hato Kenjirou

Gotta follow up my #2 manga with my favorite manga, Genshiken! Hato is an amazing, complex, well-realized character. He has fascinating internal struggles about identity, interests, sexuality, relationships, and conflicting desires. Plus he's SUPER CUTE

Day 10 - Kuroi Ginko

I think Planet With had a lot of potential that it failed to live up to, but it has at least one amazing aspect: Ginko is ADORABLE. I love her :3 face, classic meido outfit, and goofy personality.

Day 11 - Coppola Ana

Behind Coppola-chan's kind, proper exterior she's aggressive and frank, and I find that gap adorable. She has the funniest scenes and best reaction faces in Ichigo Mashimaro.

This and Lucky Star sparked my love for slice of life moe in the pre-K-ON! era.

Day 12 - Inuyama Aoi

It's not midnight yet here, so I'm still on time! Aoi is easily my favorite Yuru Camp character. Easygoing and carefree, but with a devious prankster side too. Key features are her Kansai dialect, fang, and adorable wedge eyebrows that go THROUGH HER HAT!

Day 13 - Hitori Bocchi

Hitoribocchi no ○○ Seikatsu is equally heartwarming and hilarious, largely thanks to Bocchi herself. Her insecurities and anxieties are always at absurd, comedic levels, but the warmth and optimism of the show keeps it from ever feeling mean-spirited.

Day 14 - Miyamoto Rebecca

Pani Poni Dash has many wonderful characters, but Becky is the cutest. Thankfully the show plays into that by giving her lots of adorable outfits and hairstyles. Also, the gap moe of her serious arrogance vs childish tantrums and timidity is too strong

Day 15 - Hikawa Hina

Hina has slowly become one of my favorite girls in Bandori. I always loved her eccentic, carefree attitude, and I guess her cluelessness and inability to understand people's emotions shifted from frustrating to endearing. Plus she's really cute and pretty

Day 16 - Yoshida Yuuko

I've tweeted a lot about Shamiko lately and for good reason. She is extremely my "type" - loud, energetic, clumsy, airheaded, naive, arrogant, easily frustrated. Her constant poor decisions and tantrums are so adorable. Perfectly moe design as well.

Day 17 - Hio-tan

I don't think I've seen anyone on here talk about Denki-gai no Honya-san, so I have to give it the spotlight for a bit. Its pervy Akihabara otaku humor is not original, but it is plenty funny, and the girls are fantastic. I gotta go with the blonde cutie here

Day 18 - Miyake Hinata

All of the characters in Yorimoi are amazing and complex, so I'll just pick who I think is the cutest. Hinata comes off as an energetic, carefree, yet world-wise girl - but of course she goes much deeper than that. Plus she has those fantastic food shirts

Day 19 - Hiiragi Tsukasa

Look, Tsukasa is the best girl in Lucky Star. Airheads and short hair are the best. Plus her face is just too cute, especially when she's blushing

Day 20 - Azusagawa Kaede

Kaede is definitely the best girl in Bunny Girl Senpai. She's that classic ultra-moe imouto character, and the panda pajamas are simply the best

Day 21 - Izumi Sagiri

Look, I have to follow up one cutest hikki imouto with the other cutest hikki imouto. Sagiri is just so incredibly cute. I love the different frilly pajamas she wears and her long grey-pink hair with all the cute bows. hnngggg

Day 22 - Koshigaya Komari

Komari is an insecure childish girl who tries to convince people that she's a mature adult, and I always like that personality type. The gap between what she's actually like and what she pretends to be, and her overreactions and outbursts, are adorable!

Day 23 - Mukaimizu Hinako

I just got back from seeing Ride Your Wave in the theater, and Hinako was super good! I love her frantic, kind of nutty cuteness. Her struggles with self-sufficiency and finding a calling are universally relatable.

Day 24 - Kanna Kamui

Look, I had to put Kanna on here at some point. She is the best dragon and maybe the cutest anime character ever. Plus she monch

Day 25 - Papika

I haven't done this in a few days but it's time to get back into it. Papika is that kind of idiotic, hyperactive force of nature character who I always love. And of course Flip Flappers is a fantastic anime, I highly recommend it

Day 26 - Yamato Rinko

I think the main appeal of Ore Monogatari!! is Takeo's over-the-top hilarity, but Rinko's absurdly sweet, kind, and gentle nature provided a great contrast that drove the comedy home. And her relationship with Takeo is something special.

Day 27 - Riko

I'm pumped since the dates for the Made in Abyss movie were confirmed! I always talk about Nanachi nowadays, but Riko was my first best girl in the show. Cute blonde, glasses, super round face, all great. I love her genki impulsive charge-ahead mentality.

Day 28 - Uraraka Ochaco

I thought I'd feature my favorite from My Hero Academia after watching the new movie. Uraraka has a gentle, heartwarming, healing personality, and is incredibly cute. She has a TON of amazing reaction faces too. It's impossible to pick just 4 good images

Day 29 - Mitsumine Mashiro

Kobeni is my favorite Mikakunin de Shinkokei character, but Mashiro has that undeniable adorableness factor. I just love her overconfident brattiness. Plus those oversized sleeves are powerful

Day 30 - Noumi Kudryavka

Thought I'd celebrate the thirty day mark with an all-time favorite. Kud is earnest, friendly, and hilarious. Her "dog-like" nature is adorable and a great point of comedy throughout Little Busters. Her hat, cape, and white stockings are incredibly cute!

Day 31 - Anzu

Anzu wasn't my initial favorite character in Hinamatsuri, but she grew on me more than any character I can remember. Her story arc is incredibly heartwarming and bittersweet, and the way she develops into such a good person through her hardship is just wonderful.

Day 32 - Hoshikawa Lily

Thinking about another all-time favorite tonight. Lily has an irresistible pure cuteness and infectious positive energy that make her easily my favorite zombie idol. I love her childish rude side as well. Looking forward to Zombieland Saga season 2!

Day 33 - Alice Cartelet

Karen and Ayaya usually steal the spotlight when it comes to fan sentiment, but Alice has always been my favorite Kiniro Mosaic character. She is just too pure and cute. Also she's a weeaboo just like me

Day 34 - Nagi-sama

As far as rude, egotistical, childish blue-haired goddesses go, Nagi is pretty great.

When I first watched Kannagi, the OP led me to believe it would be an idol anime. I was disappointed when the OP's events never actually happened. Still a fun show though!

Day 35 - Aqua

Gotta follow up the one rude, egotistical, childish blue-haired goddess with the other.

I just love Aqua. Her overconfidence coupled with her extreme stupidity is fantastic and hilarious. Plus she's way cute. Definitely my favorite Konosuba character.

Day 36 - Yoshida Yuuko

I talked about Shamiko a lot when I was watching Machikado Mazoku, but I absolutely adore her. She has such a fantastic collection of moe attributes (overconfident, clumsy, stupid, airheaded, overemotional, fang, short + big boobs, amazing reaction faces)

Day 37 - Sakura Nene

I still think Hajime is my favorite New Game! character, but Nenecchi is fantastic and I see a lot of love for her on twitter so she's been on my mind. I love her bratty personality and those little blonde pigtails. She has the BEST backpack too

Day 38 - Takanashi Hikari

I've talked about how much I love Vampire-chan a lot recently. Since I'll finally be watching the last episode of Demi-chan wa Kataritai tomorrow, I'll feature her here now.

I just can't get enough of her adorable arrogant dumb energy. She is so GOOD

Day 39 - Mankanshoku Mako

Mako is basically just a caricature of my favorite stupid genki girl character archetype. But she also has a lot of fantastic visual/animation-based comedy. And she really is incredibly cute. I love her character design.

Day 40 - Rorolina Frixell

Rorona is still my favorite Atelier character, and that's saying a lot considering how many fantastic girls the series has. She's my usual dumb, energetic, clumsy airhead type, but she's also super kind and has a ton of love for her friends and family.

Day 41 - Senko-san

The Senko-san anime is easily my favorite otaku wish-fulfillment romcom, and Senko herself is truly special. Her design, fluffiness, kindness, mannerisms, dialect, and especially the incredibly cute sounds she makes and adorable overreactions, are pure bliss.

Day 42 - Yuuri

Yuuri is definitely my favorite of the two girls in Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou. She has a great laid-back personality, and the mischief she causes as the boke of the duo is always a lot of fun. I love her design too, with those big droopy oval eyes.

Day 43 - Miyako

Yuuri always reminds me of Miyako, who was actually the first girl I called a "waifu". She has a wonderful carefree, mischievous, airheaded, yet kind personality that I just love. Hidamari Sketch is one of my favorite manga and anime, and she's a big reason why.

Day 44 - Ookami Ranka

I've been enjoying Murenase! Seton Gakuen a lot, and I adore this dumb wolf girl. She's always entertaining and funny, and just super cute. I love her big bushy cotton candy tail too

Day 45 - Yashiro Nene

Continuing with another current-season cutie. I'm honestly not enjoying Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun as much as I hoped I would, but I do love the art style, with the thick outlines, watercolor filter, and adorable designs. Nene is great with a side braid too

Day 46 - Churuya-san

Nyoro~n

Day 47 - Kamado Nezuko

Nezuko is really adorable, in that wide-eyed, heartwarming, ultra-moe sense. I justV want to hug and protect her. I love her hair design and the red color on the tips. Her ability to shrink at will is absolutely hilarious, too.

Day 48 - Uzaki Hana

I love the Uzaki-chan manga and can't wait for the anime.

I'm at work and forgot to prep for this, but I got screencaps from a new PV.

Uzaki has many of my favorite traits (short hair + large assets, fang, great reactions, energetic, teasing, rude, stupid)

Day 49 - Azuki Azusa

Azusa perfectly fits the "bratty blonde girl" type I like so much, plus she is super adorable. I love the rude fake princess act and banter with the main character. Adorable dog theme too with her choker, wagging tail, and pet cafe dog girl outfit.

Day 50 - Yurigasaki Lulu

Lulu kashikoi!

I love the character designs and costumes in Yuru Kuma Arashi, especially the school uniform hats and the wonderful bear-girl forms with the small ears and huge paw gloves.

Everyone is adorable, but Lulu is best bear. Big stupid energy

Day 51 - Felt

My favorite character in Re:Zero is Felix, but Felt is suuuper cute. I love her outfit and the little fang. Her storyline seemed to be abruptly put on pause so I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Season 2 was delayed but I might watch the Director's Cut soon.

Day 52 - Imai Midori

Aoi usually comes to mind first when I think about Shirobako, but all of the girls in this show are amazing. I just love the character designs. Casual Midori with glasses is particularly super cute

Day 53 - Kagami Sumika

I didn't like Muv-Luv very much overall, but it had some fantastic characters. I fell in love with Sumika right away. The rude, rapid-fire banter between her and Takeru is my favorite kind of relationship, and her sentient ahoge is simply incredible.

Day 54 - Fujiwara Chika

Of course I love Chika, she's full of energy and endearing stupidity. Her goofy antics and dumb plots are my favorite part of Kaguya-sama. Looking forward to season 2

Day 55 - Clorica

I went into Rune Factory 4 expecting to like Amber or Xiao Pai, but Clori stole my heart. I don't usually like the "sleepy" archetype but she is so sweet and kind. I love her Japanese voice. The way she wakes you up most mornings unless she sleeps in is too cute

Day 56 - Shinonome Nano

Nichijou's robot babysitter Nano is kind and earnest, but gets easily flustered and embarrassed, which leads to all kinds of adorable moments. Her storylines involving going to school and trying to hide her robot-ness are the most wholeshome in the show.

Day 57 - Asakusa Midori

I love Eizouken's resident gremlin. Her passion and drive are infectious, and her tendency to overindulge in her interests and act without thinking things through drives a lot of the fun interactions in the show. She has the best reaction faces too

Day 58 - Ringo

Most girls in Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou are intentionally not cute, but Ringo is a definite exception. Rude and arrogant, constantly trying to show off, but with a surprisingly cute airheaded side. I love her perma-blush too

Day 59 - Hosogawa Kazuko

Tsurezure Children is full of incredibly good girls, but Kazuko might just be my favorite. I love the gap between her outer ojousama vibe and the goofy way that she swoons over the most shallow, insufferable guy. Her big poofy drill hair is amazing too

Day 60 - Ueno-san

I didn't like this anime at all, which is too bad, because the characters are super cute. I love all of the crazy reactions.

I think Kitanaga is the cutest, but she's barely a character, and most of her scenes are too fanservicey to post here.

Day 61 - Urano Suzu

Suzu's character in In This Corner of the World is so beautifully well-realized. The deliberate movements, idiosyncracies, head tilts, and expressions are so uniquely hers, and the movie portrays her idyllic perspective against the horrors of war perfectly.

Day 62 - Hirasawa Ui

I love all of the K-ON! girls, but I want to talk about this slightly less popular cutie.

Ui is so kind, gentle, and caring, and has wonderful calming lighthearted energy. I love the motherly sister relationship with Yui, and short hair + ponytail is CUTE.

Day 63 - Tachibana Marika

I love the gap between Marika's brazen forwardness with Raku and extreme embarrassment when something is reciprocated, and her lapses into her native dialect are adorable. I love her flowery frilly aesthetic too, and she has the best school uniform.

Day 64 - Inami Mahiru

Mahiru from Working!! seems like a gimmick character at first, but has so much growth and development over the series. Her awkward and messy relationship with Takanashi is one of my all time favorite anime romances. She has the most adorable reactions too.

Day 65 - Miyakoshi Hana

WWW.Working!! wasn't great, but it had good characters. Hana is fantastic and my type - loud, energetic, rude, stupid, full of banter, adorable messy short hair.
This is different from Working!!, so I haven't had multiple characters from the same show yet

Day 66 - Kagemori Michiru

BNA is easily the best new anime I've seen this year. It's solid all around, but adorable tanuki girl Michiru is the heart and soul. She's passionate, energetic, impulsive, and waaay too cute.

Can't wait for more episodes to come out!

Day 67 - Rin

I was discussing Catherine: Full Body recently and it reminded me of how much I love this character. Rin is easygoing, kind, innocent, ditsy, and just a warm & fuzzy character all around. The exaggerated cutesy animations and head tilts are tooo adorable.

Day 68 - Takagi-san

I finally started watching season 2 of this anime, and I'm honestly not a big fan, but Takagi herself is undoubtedly adorable. I love her smirk, and the moments where her true feelings leak out are always great. Big foreheads are cute too

Day 69 - Kanade Ooe

Gotta keep this forehead train rolling. Ooe comes at karuta from a perspective that highlights the historical and poetry aspects of the game. I love her passion about what she likes and her commitment to the game despite being a beginner. Plus SHE'S SO CUTE

Day 70 - Saionji Hiyoko

I'm getting back into Danganronpa UDG so the series is on my mind again, and Hiyoko is easily my favorite girl. She acts rude, arrogant, and hateful to try to cover up her weak, childish, insecure side. That gap and her extreme emotions are adorable.

Day 71 - Ninamori Eri

Eri was basically my first anime girl crush. She also has that "maturity gap" I like - she tries to act composed and mature, but when she lets her guard down her excitement and personality come out in a really endearing way. Plus she's too cute in glasses.

Day 72 - Sakaki

More influential anime from my early teens. Azumanga Daioh was my first SoL comedy with modern moe character designs.

Sakaki isn't my usual type, but I like her brand of kuudere - she seems cold and distant because she's so awkward and can't express her feelings

Day 73 - Andou Mahoro

Mahoromatic isn't great, but it influenced my current taste in anime more than anything else. It was the first ecchi show I watched and blew my mind then.

I like the character designs. Mahoro is adorable and lovable and I love her expressive side whiskers.

Day 74 - Mikuni Miharu

Mahoromatic's illustrator, Ditama Bow, also created KissxSis, and I love these character designs too. Every girl is great but my preference is Miharu (Mikazuki is #2). Short hair+glasses+big assets is a winning combo, and she's so cute when embarrassed.

Day 75 - Ibuki Fuuko

Goofy starfish weirdo is my favorite girl in Clannad. Key's super-moe character designs and Kyoani's adorably expressive character animation combine for maximum cuteness. Her hyperactive, absent-minded energy is always a lot of fun.

Day 76 - Takakura Himari

Mawaru Penguindrum was a little inconsistent and convoluted, but Himari is consistently amazing - fun, silly, wholesome, the heart of the series. Absolutely adorable clothes and hairstyles too, plus maximum forehead power

Day 77 - Komori Kiri

It's hard to pick just one Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei girl because they're all cute lovable goofballs. Kiri just seems soft and warm and snuggly, and has a fun teasing side to her too.

Day 78 - Tsuyuri Kumin

I didn't particularly like Chuunibyou, but Kumin-senpai is -incredibly- adorable. She's just so pretty, and nice, and has a great airheaded, wholesome, silly attitude. Her short hair is simply the best as well.

Day 79 - Ika Musume

You gotta be squidding me

Day 80 - Shiina Mayuri

I wasn't able to do one yesterday due to a power outage, but I'm back at it now!

I adore Steins;Gate, the VN and anime are fantastic, but I don't particularly love any of the characters. Mayuri wins by default due to Hanazawa Kana's voice. Great hat too

Day 81 - Tsukimiya Ayu

three important aspects of ayu:

-uguu~
-her backpack has WINGS
-she monch

Day 82 - Asada Emi

I thought O Maidens was pretty good, but I can't pick a favorite from the main cast, they all have strong points. So how about this random bully side character? She's not a great character but just look how cute she is

Day 83 - Kagari Atsuko

Akko is always just so entertaining to watch. Her hyperactive stupidity is the cutest thing. And Trigger's fluid expressive character animation is the perfect match for her energy.

Day 84 - Serinuma Kae

Kiss Him Not Me is a lot of dumb fun, carried by Kae's over-the-top goofiness and extreme overreactions to everything. Character animation is on point, with a constant barrage of silly faces and super-deformed reactions. She is pretty cute too

Day 85 - Nakiri Alice

Alice is good mostly because of the cute way her eyes are frequently drawn. She's a fun genki character and molecular gastronomy is cool too

Day 86 - Midorikawa Hana

Prison School was such a good anime. The characters are all over-the-top and grotesque, but Hana is actually pretty cute sometimes. Great vocal performance from Hanazawa Kana too, as always

Day 87 - Tsumugi Wenders

I'm not too far into Summer Pockets so I'm jumping the gun here, but Tsumugi is on my mind since I'm playing her route and drawing something related. She is so kind, earnest and funny, and has lots of great entertaining banter with the protagonist.

Day 88 - Kasumi Fuu

Fuu is super entertaining, and the shenanigans she always stumbles into drive most of the show. I love her adventurous and confident, yet naive and clumsy personality.

I ought to rewatch Samurai Champloo sometime, it's been a while!

Day 89 - Lillie

Lillie is by far my favorite girl from the Pokemon franchise. She is incredibly adorable. Blonde hair, sun dress, and huge hat is an absolute winner in my book. Tons of cute reactions and good development too.

(I didn't watch the anime, screencaps from google)

Day 90 - Takeya Yuki

I haven't quite finished Gakkou Gurashi yet, but it's clear that Yuki is a precious adorable goofball. Gotta love the cat hat too!

Day 91 - Tamaki Iroha

I haven't finished Magia Record yet. But I've always loved Iroha's character design. Her magical girl outfit is amazing (LOVE that full-body tights/stockings look) and she's really cute in her school uniform too, especially without the sweater vest.

Day 92 - Kaede

Gal & Dino is fantastic. It's slow and weird, not everything hits, but it is a delightful blend of slice of life comedy, silliness and absurdity strung together beautifully. It's half slice of life anime and half Adult Swim fake infomercial. The Gyaru is cute too!

Day 93 - Kuriyama Mirai

Mirai singlehandedly made Kyoukai no Kanata worth watching for me. Awkward and clumsy, big glasses always sliding off, messy hair, oversized sweater, she's a big dork in every way and it's just adorable.

Day 94 - P-ko

If you haven't watched Arakawa Under the Bridge, you'll be able to watch it on Funimation soon, which is pretty cool! It's a super funny and goofy series.

Clumsy vegetable growing girl P-ko is quite cute! I love her leaf hair.

Day 95 - Arashiyama Hotori

Soredemo was a lot of fun due to Hotori's expressive antics. Great clumsy airhead type, and an extremization of the "clumsy maid" trope. It's cute how someone this incredibly stupid is so into riddles and mysteries, too. Same seiyuu as the above P-ko!

Day 96 - Kushieda Minori

Toradora is a classic, and Taiga is good, but my favorite girl has always been Minorin. This should come as a surprise to nobody. Minori is one of the first genki airhead types I really liked. Her dumb fun cuteness showed me the way to enlightenment.

Day 97 - Watashi

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita was kinda weird. I never actually finished it. But this girl is pretty cute. Can't decide if I prefer short hair ver. or megane ver.

Day 98 - Sawabe Tsubaki

I forgot to do this after Minorin, but here's another baseball-playing side girl who's way cuter than the main girl. These protagonists have no taste, smdh

Day 99 - Sophia Ascart

Sophia has been penciled in as my Hamefura best girl since I first saw her in the OP and that's holding true. Love white hair and red eyes, and her warm, quiet, bookish nature. This past episode she started busting out the cute hats and I approve 1000%.

Day 100 - Oshino Shinobu

Gotta go with an all-time favorite for number 100. Shinobu's haughty and rude attitude is incredibly adorable coming from someone so cute and small. Love her "old style" accent, her many fantastic dresses, blonde hair + FANGS. Plus she has tons of merch!

Day 101 - Petit Charat

Di Gi Charat was the OG moeshit. It was pretty bad and really low budget, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Plus just look at this thing, it's way too cute

Day 102 - Kinomoto Sakura

My favorite thing about Cardcaptor Sakura is that Sakura wears so many unique outfits and magical girl costumes. Some of them are pretty goofy but a lot are amazing. The cutesy, bright, frilly ones are my favorites, so I'll feature a few here.

Day 103 - Honda Tohru

I have to confess, I haven't watched much of the Fruits Basket remake yet. I blame the people I watched the first few episodes with. We haven't continued for no particular reason.

Tohru's new character design is amazing. She's way too cute. Great voice too

Day 104 - Hatsune Miku

Project Diva Mega Mix came out today, so I am fully back into meek mode now. This character, her awesome and entertaining dances and outfits, and especially all the classic vocaloid songs are really special to me.

Day 105 - Hanada Kirame

I'm running out of unique series/franchises to draw these from (saving a couple though), so here's my first kind of repeat. Kirame is from the Saki spinoff, so it's technically a different series!

She's cute because she says "Subara!" and sparkles.

Day 106 - Tanemura Koyori

Noa will always be my #1, but Koyori is definitely my second favorite Wataten girl. She's overconfident and wants to be relied on, despite being clumsy and incapable. That gap is super cute! Plus her skin-fang is fantastic

Day 107 - Sotoka Rakita (Sotca Luckythar??)

I just learned that Sotoka's name also has that weird romanized spelling.

I think Sotoka is the best-looking Bocchi girl. I love her blonde hair with accessories and her Forehead Power. She's bubbly, hyper, earnest, a joy to watch.

Day 108 - Nanachi

nnaaa~

Day 109 - Tsurumaki Kokoro

I love this stupid ball of sunshine so very much. So happy that I got to meet her seiyuu in person and watch her perform.

Here's some of my favorite Kokoron card art!

Day 110 - Shinoda Hajime

New Game! is full of fantastic girls, but Hajime is always my favorite. I think she was the first anime girl pfp I used on twitter.

Awesome classic sporty, short hair + big assets genki girl. I love her wholehearted, confident passion for her hobbies.

Day 111 - Kushima Kamome

I finished Kamome's route in Summer Pockets, so it's a good time to feature her! She's a kind of person I would love to be friends and spend time with. Lots of fun, energetic, silly, full of lighthearted banter. I love her bad animal impressions too!

Day 112 - Ichijou Hotaru

I'm pretty excited about the Non Non Biyori season 3 news! Hotaru is my second favorite girl. She's the precocious, mature, and gentle one, but her childishness slips out at the cutest times. Also her obsession with her senpai Komari is too adorable!!

Day 113 - Eastern Spot-Billed Duck

Kemono Friends 2 has lots of great new characters, but it started off particularly strong with Duck Mom. She's super cute and basically wears a dead duck on her head

Day 114 - Shiro

Senko is clearly top fox, but I love Shiro too! She fits more closely with one of my preferred "types", being loud, self-centered, vain, petulant, and irritating in that super endearing way. Plus she's a 🚨GAMER🚨

Day 115 - Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko

Tsukiko is an adorable twist on "kuudere" - she is overly emotional, but due to plot she's incapable of showing emotion through her face or voice, so she does all kinds of cute things like hair twirling and hiding her face instead. Plus she MONCH!

Day 116 - Kagamihara Nadeshiko

Speaking of MONCH, here are four pictures of Kirby 2 doing what she does best

Day 117 - Kamikita Komari

I love Komari so much. Friendly, kind, and calming, with a fun sense of humor and great overreactions. Incredible voice- so over-the-top cloying and saccharine that it wraps right around to being perfectly adorable. Love all her "fuee"s and other sounds

Day 118 - Matsubara Kanon

Speaking of fuee~, gotta follow up with this cutie. I adore this timid, high-anxiety, jellyfish-obsessed fuee~girl.

Day 119 - Komichi Aya

The Ayaya

Day 120 - Tamaki Mari

I love the stories of all the girls in Sora Yori, but Maki's tale of overcoming anxiety and inertia to truly commit to a goal spoke the most to me. She displays an energetic airhead personality but there's so much depth and vulnerability behind that veneer.

Day 121 - Nagase Iori

Iori reminds me of Maki in terms of depth, and hiding insecurities behind a bubbly, cheerful personality, but her situation and development are obviously quite different. I think she is super adorable, especially when she's in her over-the-top cutesy mode.

Day 122 - Kanzaki Hideri

Hideri is a very similar character to Noa, so of course I adore him. Vain idol type, obsessed with cuteness, always looking to put on a cutesy act, show off, and be the center of attention. Lots of great faces and reactions. Plus he's SO CUTE, of course!

Day 123 - Katagiri Himeko

maho maho mahoho~

Day 124 - Chiyoda Momo

Despite her straight face and quiet demeanor, Momo's actions towards Shamiko betray a surprising tenderness - playful pranks, constant doting, and subtle embarrassment when Shamiko reciprocates her kindness. Plus she has the same seiyuu as Noa!

Day 125 - Nanami Chiaki

heck yeah, she's a gamer

Day 126 - Nazuna

Nazuna is easily my second favorite Hidamari Sketch girl. So sweet, kind, and adorably insecure. I love her frilly floral style and her light blonde hair with the wrap-around braid is way cute.

Day 127 - Stocking

four words: Big Tiddy Goth GF

Day 128 - Yunyun

Yunyun is adorably clumsy, nervous, super expressive, and fun to bully. I was happy that she got so much screen time in the movie!

I love her cute little twintails and absurdly low-cut shirt, too

Day 129 - Margay

You better believe it's time for more Friends! Margay is your typical idol otaku, with the exception that she's SUPER CUTE. Loved her little bit of development as the manager of PPP.

Day 130 - Daiba Nana

Top Banana

Day 131 - Hanna Olses

My favorite character in Atelier Meruru (other than mini Rorona), but as a side character she didn't get much screentime. Energetic, confident, cheerful, and fun. Plus she is *so hot*.

Day 132 - Toga Himiko

Knife Wife is bae

Day 133 - Mishima Hitomi

My first best girl in Hinamatsuri, before Anzu got too cute. Overachieving and overworked, because she's just too nice and can't say no. Her increasingly absurd foray into the mundane world of working life is one of the funniest bits in the show.

Day 134 - Hoshino Hinata

MYAAAAA-NEEEEEEEE

Day 135 - Suika

If you couldn't tell, I like this watermelon girl from Dr Stone a lot. She's just so much fun, and too adorable, and her voice is amazing. Always puts a smile on my face. I love her goofy rolling stealth watermelon mode too.

Day 136 - Henrietta

Henrietta is an excellent classic "moe" character, evoking strong feelings of wanting to protect her and save her from the hellish life she lives, or at least give her a big hug and tell her everything will be alright.

Day 137 - Yashiro Kasumi

One of the few bright spots in MLU/MLA. She's a very moe character with a tragic backstory and a lot of trauma. Quiet, shy, awkward, but also kind, pure, and caring, with a fun sense of humor that peeks through sometimes. Also she's Very Big Cute

Day 138 - Udagawa Ako

Ako is a huge dork and that's super cute. I love the twirly high pigtails + fang too.

Oh yeah, did I mention she's a GAMER?

Day 139 - Katarina Claes

Just finished Hamefura tonight, good time to feature this dummy!

Katarina is an excellent comedy protagonist, with all kinds of quirky gimmicks to play for laughs (tree climbing, farming, food obsession) and hilarious unmatched stupidity. Plus she MONCH

Day 140 - Takara Miyuki

I like glasses and tights

(I didn't realize until now how rarely Miyuki's tights are actually shown in this anime. Huge missed opportunity)

Day 141 - Kotobuki Tsumugi

Mugyu~ (wait, wrong Tsumugi)

I love Mugi's mellow personality and silly sense of humor. She was my first favorite K-ON! girl. But you can't go wrong with any of them, of course. I've had 5 different best girls over the course of watching the series.

Day 142 - Sudou Momoko

I love those little pigtails so much

Day 143 - Kataoka Yuuki

Relatable character. She likes tacos. I also like tacos.

She's a loud, energetic, goofy fang girl designed for maximum cuteness, so of course I adore her. I love the frillies under her skirt, thigh highs, and silly catbelt that matches her expressions.

Day 144 - Takei Hisa

Yuuki is The Cutest, but Hisa is my favorite Saki protag. Her powerful confidence and swagger are a blast. Her "hell waits" special ability is simple, but perfectly encapsulates the irresistibly over-the-top logic-warping absurdity of Saki's mahjong matches.

Day 145 - Kohaku

Legs For Days

Day 146 - Saigusa Haruka

Haruka is loud, energetic, annoying, constantly cracking jokes - always the kind of personality I enjoy. But the depth behind her character feels so real and relatable - her insecurities, self-esteem issues, overcompensation for perceived shortcomings.

Day 147 - Katou Umi

Umi Big Cute

Day 148 - Sunao Nako

Nako's an alright character, but she has some truly amazing reaction faces, just look at these

Day 149 - Yuno

X Wideface Queen

Day 150 - Felix Argyle

Felix is a pretty kitty.

Looking forward to season 2. PLEASE release some Felix merch, I'm BEGGING YOU. The world doesn't need $200 Wedding Dress Rem Figure # 37, it needs a WEDDING DRESS FELIX, okay?!

Day 151 - Jinno Megumi

It's a shame that Megumin has only a bit part in Eromanga-sensei, because she might be the cutest character (which is saying a lot, because all the girls in this show are ridiculously cute). I love her confident, teasing personality and devious cutesiness!

Day 152 - Yamada Elf

Elf is an excellent blonde ojousama type character - arrogant but surprisingly nice, and suuuper pretty. Her fancy, frilly, bright dresses are great. She also has the absolute upper limit of acceptable ear-pointiness. Elf ears are gross btw

Day 153 - Yamada Aoi

Aoi is a petty, childish goofball who adds a lot of fun and excitement to the Working!! cast. Her surprisingly pretty, sytlish exterier belies her absolute chaotic gremlin nature.

Day 154 - Taneshima Popura

Popura is a super-adorable shortstack who unfortunately mostly exists to get picked on by everyone. While her character is a little flat (figuratively) she is still mega-overload cute! I love her super-long side whiskers too

Day 155 - Tokido Saya

I'm doing a daily VN thing where I mentioned Saya, might as well put her on here too! Saya is a "gap moe" character whose serious assassin persona is constantly undermined by awkward outbursts and compulsive self-denigration. It's silly but a lot of fun

Day 156 - Naruse Shiroha

Time for more Key! I didn't expect to like Shiroha because kuudere isn't my thing, but she ended up being super cute! I love how incredibly awkward she is, overreactions and proclivity to run away from everything. Good voice and lots of development too.

Day 157 - Shiraishi Yuzuki

I don't have a lot to say about Yuzuki, but she's cute and nice and I'm glad she finally made some friends!

Day 158 -Itou Chika

Chika doesn't stand out against the outsize personalities of the other Ichigo Mashimaro characters, but that's kind of the point. She's mostly just there to be the tsukkomi. She's still way cute though! Love her hair. And she likes music, that's cool, me too

Day 159 - Matsuoka Miu

Splat

Day 160 - Sakuragi Matsuri

Matsuri is an ultimate classic megane moe character. Meek, shy, overly anxious, and ridiculously adorable. I think her grey hair is way cute too

Day 161 - Shiretoko Tomoko

Easily my favorite minor character in MHA. It's too bad that she has barely a cameo level of screen time. Her design is over the top and just awesome, I love her huge buggy eyes and extreme genki energy.

Day 162 - Flayn

I should have done this a few days ago on her birthday, but better late than never to honor the Best Girl in Fire Emblem (in my opinion of course).

Flayn is a perfect super-kind, innocent, easygoing, airhead character. And her big fluffy drill hair is amazing.

Day 163 - Marnie

Marnie has a fantastic design - half girly, half punk, studded leather jacket over a pastel pink dress, gap moe incarnate. She tries to act cool and tough, but is actually very soft, kind, awkward, and has trouble showing emotions. Just adorable

Day 164 - Elmerulia Frixell

Yes I'm just pulling screenshots from my Switch right now. Anyways, Lulua is a great Atelier protagonist. Full of energy, excitement, and earnestness, yet unlike Rorona she's actually responsible and capable. Love her "nantoka naru naru!" catchphrase!

Day 165 - Piana

Lulua is good, but Piana unexpectedly ended up being my favorite character in Atelier Lulua. She got SUPER CUTE since Totori!! Confident, smart, dependable, a little haughty, and a straight-faced mischievous streak. I love her design, too.

Day 166 - Konomori Kanon

Wataten's title refers to Hana as an angel, but Kanon is the true angel in the cast. She is absurdly kind, patient, and calm. Just radiates warmth and compassion. She's the perfect complement to the needy, emotional Koyori. Cute messy grey-brown hair too

Day 167 - Main

IT'S MAIN TIME!!!

She's great. Fantastic. Mega cute. Bookworm is a show with only one main character, and Main is good enough to actually make it work.

I can't get enough of her chibi scenes, I wish there were more.

Day 168 - Momouchi Mayura

Mayura is kind, easygoing, and a great friend to Kobeni. She has a soft, fuzzy, fluffy sort of personality and cute looks to match. Short messy hair and glasses is a look I always love!

Day 169 - Yonomori Kobeni

Kobeni is generally the responsible one in the Mikakunin cast, but she is also pure, anxious, confused about her emotions, and easily flustered - adorable and endearing, a perfect protagonist for a coming-of-age romcom story. Great aprons too

Day 170 - Yonomori Benio

Benio is the classic "smart, popular, athletic model student with a hidden personality" trope, except her hidden personality is "sex offender"

Day 171 - Domestic Pig

Piggy piggy piggy

Day 172 - Kanbe Kotori

July 26 is Kotori's birthday, it's time to feature this wonderful girl I love so much!!

Kotori is my favorite VN heroine. Cheerful, witty, and entertaining, with a fantastic snide sense of humor, and my all time favorite vocal performance! She is SO GOOD

Day 173 - Haru

Totono is great and all, but where's the best girl Haru route?? Her awkward lanky look and overreactive, clumsy skittishness are just too cute.

But really, play Totono, it's way cool

Day 174 - Mukou Aoi

They keep saying she has "gamer brain" but she doesn't play a video game even ONCE. Gonna riot

Day 175 - Petra Leyte

m..m...meido petra

Day 176 - Turi

Turi has this great dynamic with Main where she's the older sister, yet much less mature and capable, so she gets jealous and tries to act like the responsible older sister in all sorts of adorable childish ways. She is precious and I love their relationship.

Day 177 - Cocomine Cocona

Flippity flappity

Day 178 - Sakuranomiya Maika

My favorite girl in Blend S! Maika's innocent earnestness and optimism are infectious, and the awkwardness that comes from her "accidental sadist" side leads to tons of cute moments. She's a truly heartwarming character. Plus she's super pretty!

Day 179 - Amano Miu

Miu is so pretty too. I just adore the Blend S character designs. Front braids + glasses is such a great look. And those LEGS. Also so relatable - she likes R18 doujinshi, I also like R18 doujinshi. Although I'm not good enough to draw it myself quite yet!

Day 180 - Hanazono Tae

Bunny girl for bunny day~

Day 181 - Honshou Aru

The world's class vice president!

Day 182 - Refle von Beilschmidt

Refle is SO cute! Her nervousness, awkwardness, and anxiety about doing well are equally adorable and relatable. The accidental confession scene with Lulua SLAYED me, even though it was just bait. Cowards at Gust should let the protags date girls!

Day 183 - Bernadetta von Varley

Bernie von Sanders is an over-the-top and silly gimmick character, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Her extreme skittishness, constant outbursts, and ridiculous screeching voice are pure concentrated moe. I love her post-timeskip outfit too.

Day 184 - Greater Roadrunner

It's Friend o'clock!

I like Greater Roadrunner because her shirt says Beep!

Day 185 - Utsugi Kotoko

Since I'm finally playing Danganronpa V3, I thought I'd do some more Danganronpa girls.

Kotoko is a ridiculous character. I mean, everything about Ultra Despair Girls is ridiculous. But she IS a cutie, and I thought she was the best of the antagonists.

Day 186 - Tsumiki Mikan

Mikan is another one of the most ridiculous Danganronpa characters, with many severe... issues, but she is also quite cute with her absurd overreactions to everything.

Day 187 - Saikawa Riko

Maid Dragon season 2 hype, yeeeah!

Saikawa is the most relatable character in anime because I react to Kanna the exact same way. Great forehead, too

Day 188 - Tohru

I've honestly never been a big fan of Tohru, although on paper I should like her a lot. I mean, cute energetic lovey-dovey airheaded fang meido girl? Sign me up

Day 189 - Hakase

Nanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonanonano

Day 190 - Minakami Mai

50/50

Day 191 - Quetzalcoatl

huge
anime
tiddies

Day 192 - Sakurai Izumi

Sakurai-sensei is super warm, fuzzy and timid, like a cute fluffy rabbit. Her whole gimmick is that she's constantly flustered, and it's freaking adorable. Love how she's always hiding behind her folder. The constant sweat droplets are really funny, too.

Day 193 - Himesaka Emily

Noamom is cute too

Day 194 - Phosphophyllite

Despite everything, Phos cute

Day 195 - Patricia Martin

Blonde, short hair, genki girl, you know the drill. Of course I like Patty. Oh yeah, she's a weeb too. Same

Day 196 - Izumi Konata

Good job!

Day 197 - Inokuma Youko

Birthday fang girl~

Day 198 - Kujo Karen

Karen is definitely the most popular Kinmoza girl, likely thanks to the memes. She's entertaining and the show's best humor usually centers around her, so I appreciate her a lot, even though my favorite character is Alice. She makes some great faces too.

Karasuma Sakura

This is the same character as the Nichijou teacher, but without the sweat drops, and with glorious MEGANE. She is Super Cute.

Day 200 - Satou Sakie

More cute teachers! The "pretty but modest tracksuit teacher" trope seems to reflect a cultural thing about not wanting to make teenage boys too horny, and as a succubus, Satou-sensei is an extreme example of that. It's an interesting way to spin the trope.

Day 201 - Ohtori Chihaya

Happy birthday (8/24) to Chihaya! I've talked about Kotori's great vocal mannerisms, but I love Chihaya's too. The way she says "desu" and "desu ka" is way too cute. She's also a loud, clumsy, overreacting goofball, and I always love that character type.

Day 202 - Seiun Sky

Y'all ready for some HORSES?

Seiun Sky has the messy short-haired look that always really appeals to me, and I love the color. She's laid back and always looks smug and happy, like she's just having a good time and enjoying life. Cute racing outfit too.

Day 203 - Amber (Kohaku)

I can't decide on a second best Rune Factory 4 girl after Clorica, but Amber is great. Endlessly sunny, optimistic, silly, and just does whatever she wants. I like the innocently sadistic side of her that pops up since she's technically a monster, too!

Day 204 - Yoshida Ryoko

Machikado Mazoku season 2 was announced today, and I'm super excited!

Ryoko is so adorable, and a funny take on the "responsible younger sister" with her obsession with war strategy. I love her beret and her little side ponytail, too.

Day 205 - Hinatsuki Mikan

I wonder if all of the magical girls in the Machikado Mazoku Extended Universe are fruit flavored? Or are Momo and Mikan just a coincidence?

Anyways, I love her casual clothing style and orange-shaped hair bun. Her constant state of apology is cute too

Day 206 - Minagawa Yuki

Yuki is a super cute, smug, gentle bully/tease (much like Takagi-san) and the confident, matter-of-fact way she displays her love and adoration is a lot of fun too. Plus she's voiced by Hanazawa Kana, which is just awesome.

Day 207 - Minamoto Sakura

I know I only talk about Lily, but Zombieland Saga has other characters too! Sakura is basically the "normal" character who reacts to the absurd situations and everyone's antics, and she has some good reactions, but she's also cute and tries her best.

Day 208 - Konno Junko

Junko is a super classy, aloof idol girl with some strong development. My favorite thing about her is her hair, I love the grey color with the poofy bob and super thin twintails. I like her name a lot too, even that just seems elegant somehow.

Day 209 - Daiwa Scarlet

I'm calling it early, Princess Fang is Best Horse. She is so freaking adorable, makes the best faces, and I love her style. It's too bad that she doesn't get story focus, but I'm watching every episode just hungry for her bits of screentime.

Day 210 - Shiro

uuuhhhhhhh Gamer Girl

Day 211 -Hatsuse Izuna

When I first watched NGNL, I didn't like Izuna. I just thought she was dull. Stoicism and traditional Japanese-inspired dress aren't my thing. But I have since learned to appreciate the appeal of a huge fluffy tail, so she has that going for her!

Day 212 - Mizuno Ai

Here, one more zombie girl for the road. I don't have much to say about Ai, but she is pretty qt.

Day 213 - Kirisaki Chitoge

While I'm on vacation I'll post Nisekoi girls, from least favorite to favorite (excluding #1 Marika, who I already did). They're all good though!

I'm not into Chitoge's archetype, but blonde = good and she has fun reactions. Love her bunny bow too

Day 214 - Tsugumi Seishirou

Seishirou's got the messy short hair + big boobies that I always love (plus that bow!) and her shy, awkward, embarrassed reactions contrast very cutely with her tough persona.

Day 215 - Onodera Kosaki

Kosaki is kind, gentle, pretty, demure, and an all around Good girl. Adorable messy asymmetrical hairstyle too.

But wow, she is as dense about romance as Raku and that's frustrating. Being as dense as a harem protagonist is a dubious distinction indeed.

Day 216 - Onodera Haru

And finally, my #2 Nisekoi girl. Haru is loud, energetic, endearingly rude, with a fantastic naive earnest side, and a great siscon relationship with Kosaki. It's a shame that the anime ended quickly after her introduction. She's great later in the manga

Day 217 - Silence Suzuka

I just like those horse earmuffs

Day 218 - Special Week

that's one fast horse

Day 219 - Tsukamoto Tenma

Tenma is the ultimate example of the energetic, stupid genki girl type that I love so much, and she's such a joy to watch. Plus she's absurdly adorable, especially in the rounded super-deformed style. Not to mention the DUAL WIELD AHOGE ANTENNAE

Day 220 - Sawachika Eri

Eri may be the classic tsundere ojousama, but I don't mind the prickliness because she's only mean to Harima and he usually deserves it. She's kind and pretty, and her sheltered naivete and difficulty understanding her emotions are super endearing.

Day 221 - Sarah Adiemus

Not much to say, she's just cute as heck. Love her hair

Day 222 - Uzaki Tsuki

How can this Hot Mom see if she never opens her eyes??

Day 223 - Asui Tsuyu

Froggy Fresh

Day 224 - Hado Nejire

Nejire quickly became one of my favorite MHA characters in season 4. Energetic, excitable, adorably curious, charmingly airheaded, innocent and clueless. Annoying in just the right way. Beautiful and busty to boot. If any MHA girl is "my type," it's her.

Day 225 - Yamato Maya

Maya was actually my first favorite Bandori character. And I still like her a lot! I love her unreserved passion for her interests and her goofy laugh. She's the only glasses girl in the cast too, and that makes her awesome.

Day 226 - Beatrice

Betty is a definite gimmick character (one complaint I have about Re:Zero is the over-the-top wacky character designs that don't match the the show's tone), but it is a good gimmick. I love her look, she is absurdly cute, and her eyes are awesome.

Day 227 - Sorakado Ao

Ao is the only main Summer Pockets heroine I haven't put on here yet, and her birthday is September 20 so now's a good time!

She's my least favorite heroine, but I still liked her a lot. Her horny delusions were great and she had good banter with the MC.

Day 228 - Moeta Kaoruko

ababababa~

Kaos is the most relatable anime character (to me) - extremely excitable, passionate, horny moe otaku who won't shut up about cute girls, constantly anxious and obsessed with her perceived lack of skill/worth. She's a lot cuter than me though

Day 229 - Marulk

hnnnggggg Marulk cute

Day 230 - Koizuka Koyume

The Miyako to Moeta's Yunocchi, the prettiest of the bunch, and a pleasant heartwarming character. Usually the laid-back airhead, but her unexpected overreactions and embarrassment over her crush provide an adorable gap. I love her soft frilly style too!

Day 231 - Giant Panda

🐼🐼🐼

Another Friend day because I'm extra sleepy today and can't think of another good character!

Giant Panda is a cute sleepyhead. Life goals right here

Day 232 - Irokawa Ruki

Rukki isn't my type, I don't really care for her personally, but she's still cute sometimes! I feel like anyone who likes the "mature beauty who is super awkward and innocent on the inside" character type would like her a lot. She makes good faces too

Day 233 - Niizato Aoi

The key visual released today has me thinking about the upcoming Non Non Biyori season (and other Winter 2021 sequels). I'm sure we won't see Aoi, but I liked her a lot in Vacation. Pretty and nice, good dynamic with Natsumi, and that adorable side ponytail

Day 234 - Saitou Ena

blessed short haired cutie and hair braid artisan. I like her dog too.

Hope she gets more screen time in season 2!

Day 235 - Usa Mimi

I loved the Kodomo no Jikan manga, but I never watched the anime through. I heard it wasn't a great adaptation. It's been fun skimming through it for this.

Mimi has always been my favorite! Adorable meek overreacting megane girl with those crazy fluffy braids

Day 236 - Kagami Kuro

kitty cat

Day 237 - Kokonoe Rin

Most of the Rin screencaps I took are too lewd to post here, and that's a good summary of her character - although she is surprisingly nuanced, with interesting backstory and strong development. The long twintails and absurdly big hair ties are classic too.

Day 238 - Amae Koromo

I've discussed the wonders of bratty blonde girls with an evil side before, but Koromo is different because she truly is a kind, childish, fun-loving goofball at heart. Her mahjong playstyle is just absurdly oppressive and sadistic, and that gap is amazing.

Day 239 - Ikeda Kana

Cute fang girl! I always love the way she says "captain" too

Day 240 - Annaka Haruna

I just LOVE red bunny-ear ribbons.

Day 241 - Lysithea von Ordelia

Flayn turned my brain into fishy mush, but originally Lysithea was my favorite FE3H girl. Strong, smart, and earnest, with that beautiful white hair. Her serious facade contrasts cutely with her inner vulnerable girlishness and desire to be useful.

Day 242 - Haramura Nodoka

There are two big reasons why I love Nodoka. har har. (but really, they are great)

Nodoka's serious, shy nature makes it extra cute when she opens up, especially in her relationship with Saki, which is always so adorable. Etopen is the real MVP though.

Day 243 - Miyanaga Saki

Last Saki character for a while (maybe). Despite being my favorite anime's namesake, Saki herself is actually pretty dull compared to the rest of the cast. Still plenty cute though. Her Kan-Rinshan Kaihou ability is tons of fun and a great hype-builder.

Day 244 - Haru Urara

Quick horse since I'm running low on time tonight. I originally thought Haru would be one of my favorite horses, but in the end she had a bit part with no screen time. Still a plenty cute genki horse though.

Day 245 - Mizuori Shizuku

I must give my respects to this fellow oppai lover

Day 246 - Ayase Chihaya

Almost forgot this! I'm watching Chihayafuru 3, and it's amazing. Chihaya is the driving force of the show as always, with her exciting blend of passion, focus, naivete, and total airheadedness. Her entire mental capacity is spent on karuta and I love it.

Day 247 - Miyauchi Hikage

This girl is 100% pure smug, and I love it

Day 248 - Yurishiro Ginko

I think of Lulu and Ginko in that classic anime girl dichotomy - the energetic, outgoing, airheaded, annoying Lulu and the quiet, reserved, serious, cool Ginko. So of course, Lulu is always my favorite. But Ginko is plenty dumb and goofy in her own way.

Day 249 - Tsubaki Kureha

apparently she smells good

Day 250 - Hoshino Miyako

also smells good (allegedly)

Day 251 - Kuroki Tomoko

probably smells bad

Day 252 - Naruse Yuu

I know it's the point of her character to be parodically over-the-top perfect, meant to appeal to people like me, but it works. This girl is RIDICULOUSLY cute. She's even voiced by Hanazawa Kana, which elevates her godliness. Plus those pajamas? Just amazing

Day 253 - Inokuma Haruka

I liked this side character a lot. She is a Certified Hot Mom.

Day 254 - Akemi Mikan

I immediately thought of Mikan when I saw Haruka, but they're actually pretty different. Anyways I was excited when Jitsu wa Watashi wa aired because I had read and enjoyed the manga. The anime was okay but disappointing. Some good girls though!

Day 255 - Shiragami Youko

Easily my favorite character in the show. Earnest, straightforward, exciteable, and a bit ditzy, with lots of cute reactions, just a heartwarming and solidly good main girl. Vampire fangs cute too

Day 256 - Koumoto Akane

just a hungry gremlin

Day 257 - Aizawa Nagisa

Strict serious tsundere is not my thing, but she does have some good reactions. Also, hehe she tiny

Day 258 - Northern White-Faced Owl and Eurasian Eagle-Owl

CUTE BIRDS.

Wow two characters in one post, is that even allowed?? Well all of my screencaps had both, so why not?

I regret not buying their nesoberi when I had the chance. They're pretty expensive on the resale market.

Day 259 - Paimon

simply delicious.

Paimon is the ideal mascot character for me, she's energetic and annoying and dumb and overreacts to everything. I love it. Plus she's stupidly adorable

Day 260 - Barbara

Might as well do more Genshin Impact picks!

Barbara is like, custom made to appeal to me. Idol-type, cutesy showoff. Blonde hair. Sproingy twintails. Cute poses. Voiced by Kitou Akari, who voices Noa. WHITE TIGHTS. She couldn't be any more perfect.

Day 261 - Xiangling

I just finished Xiangling's cooking contest quest and enjoyed it. The impulsive traveling chef who hunts exotic ingredients and cooks by pure instinct - her character is just a lot of fun. I like her bear motif with the little bear-ear braids. Also she monch

Day 262 - Wiz

tiddy lich tiddy lich

Day 263 - Furude Rika

more like Furude Nipah~, am I right? ayo

Day 264 - Lalatina Dustiness Ford

I love Darkness's total single-minded commitment to her fetish. She is a horny icon.

Day 265 - Ichijou Karen

ICHIJOOOOOOOU

Day 266 - Machi Kyouko

Short-haired shy girl who likes to be hugged and held, you can't go wrong with that. Just have to deal with the whole head situation

Day 267 - Kusakabe Yuki

Cold girl kyute. Her secret interest in ecchi is good stuff too.

Day 268 - Noelle

Noelle doesn't hog the spotlight but I like her a lot, she's just a solidly good and charming Battle Maid.

Day 269 (nice) - Izumino Sumika

Not much of a character due to plot reasons, but holy crap she is stupid cute. I just wanna give her a big hug and ruffle her hair.

Day 270 - Megumin

I used to be on the Megumin hate train, not because I particularly disliked her, but I didn't care for her one-note chuuni personality and I thought she was too popular. I've come around a bit since the movie, she's pretty endearing. Still too popular though

Day 271 - Pecorine

I only watched a few episodes of Princess Connect, but I watched enough to know that this girl is fantastic. Happy, energetic, kind, always hungry, and incredibly unbelievably stupid. Just perfect.

Day 272 - Amber

Gotta love this energetic, hardworking bunny girl! My first favorite character in Genshin Impact (likely everyone's, honestly), but it's a shame that she's not too useful. Her explosive dancing plushie is the funniest and most endearing ability in the game.

Day 273 - Hanano Sumire

I feel like I haven't gotten to her biggest developments yet, but Sumire is really growing Chihayafuru season 3. Her internal struggle and increasing maturity about her crush on Taichi are interesting and thoughtful, and I love all of her different styles

Day 274 - Kiryuu Mikazuki

Screw it, Kiss x Sis for the rest of the week. Starting with my 2nd favorite (since I already did #1).

Mikazuki is that laser-targeted cutesy bubbly bratty devilish idol-type I always love so much. A lot like Yuuki from Saki, but maybe even cuter.

Day 275 - Kiryuu Yuuzuki

Strict, proper teacher who is secretly an otaku, nothing too special or interesting here. She always seemed misplaced in the Keita harem, but maybe that's just because I'm not interested. Some of her overreactions are pretty good though.

Day 276 - Suminoe Riko

The lesser of the twins (in my opinion) but still pretty good. Unemotional and soft-spoken, but anything but shy, and very mischievous. Reminds me a lot of Mai from Nichijou. Poor girl seems to have a permanent cut on her cheek though :(

Day 277 - Suminoe Ako

Energetic, responsible, earnest, cute as heck. I Great pouty face too. She's good at cooking, which I think is cool, because I love cooking too. Also I like her hairstyle a lot.

Day 278 - Tsukishiro Hitomi

Iroduku ended up being a little underwhelming, but its visual design is simply fantastic. And Hitomi is a great quiet, shy beauty type. Her purple-grey hair is really pretty too.

Day 279 - Kouenji Yasuko

Yasuko is unfortunately floofless, so she simply isn't on the same level as Senko and Shiro. But I still like her a lot. Fun excitable otaku type who appreciates Senko-san's cuteness almost as much as I do

Day 280 - Nagato Yuki

Haruhi time! Crazy we're getting another novel.

Yuki is fascinating because despite being an emotionless alien consciousness, she's still super endearing with subtle development. Top 10 anime betrayal when Kyon told her not to recreate her glasses though

Day 281 - Suzumiya Haruhi

I love some things about Haruhi - boundless energy and bullheaded stupidity are my thing. But she's mean and has sociopathic tendencies that don't improve much as the series goes on. Still cute though, even when they K-ON!ified her in the 2009 TV run.

Day 282 - Asahina Mikuru

Mikuru is designed to be pure one-dimensional moe, stacked up with an endless number of endearing traits that I could rattle off. It should be obvious by now that otaku pandering is always something I appreciate, and I'll take the moe-bait every time.

Day 283 - Izayoi Sakuya

I'm not big into Touhou, but I played several of the games back in the day and Sakuya is my favorite. Time-stopping knife maid is just cool. Her stage in Touhou 6 is awesome, easily the highlight of the game.

Day 284 - Miyauchi Renge

the girl with the funny catchphrase, you know the one

Day 285 - Tsuyuzaki Mahiru

Mahiru is easily a top 3 Revue Starlight girl for me. Karen's responsible caretaker, anxious and high-strung, yet bizarrely goofy and off-kilter. Her extreme jealousy and yandere turn are fantastic contrast against her straight-laced, kind personality.

Day 286 - Naegi Komaru

Ultra Despair girls was very strange but also surprisingly fun, and I liked the girls a lot. Komaru is just a big dork, and that's great.

Also if I talk about Danganronpa maybe it'll get me to finally continue V3

Day 287 - Fukawa Toko

I didn't think much of Toko in Danganronpa 1, but I actually kind of liked her in Ultra Despair Girls. She's weird and gross, but her over-the-top desperation, extreme lack of self-esteem, and awkward dere moments with Komaru were surprisingly endearing.

Day 288 - Hachikuji Mayoi

I don't have too much to say about the Monogatari girls, but I'll list some of my favorites (other than Shinobu, who I had on here a while ago). They're all fantastic of course.

First up is the bitemaster, snaaail giiiirrrrl

Day 289 - Sengoku Nadeko

The most fascinating (in my opinion) Monogatari character, with the best seiyuu, best OPs, and most amazing game-changer second season arc. The direction her character went in is just brilliant. Despite all of this, strangely not my favorite girl.

Day 290 - Araragi Tsukihi

Best sister, super moe, her spunky cutesiness is to die for and I love her attitude and temper.

Day 291 - Hanekawa Tsubasa

I can't decide whether I like Tsubasa's long braids + glasses look or her shorter hair look, they're both great. If she ever did short hair + glasses though, it would be perfect

Day 292 - Matsumoto Yuuna

I want to celebrate Wataten's season 2 announcement but I've already done most of the characters, so how about this cold-blooded killer, the world's most dangerous assassin

Day 293 - Matsumoto Koko

ONE MORE Wataten girl! Today is the creepy but very nice stalker oneesan. She's super cute with Yuuna too.

Day 294 - Caracal

I am b u s y tonight, so here's a quick Friend. Caracal may be a typical tsundere character, but I liked her a lot regardless, especially in the context of her fun dynamic with the responsible Kyururu and the energetic idiot Serval.

Day 295 - Nori

IT Shoujo! Probably a Gamer

Day 296 - Yoshinoya

Honestly, this is one seriously hawt teacher. I didn't properly appreciate her 10 years ago when I was really into Hidamari Sketch, but after going through episodes for this, just wow. She's a childish loudmouth idiot pervert exhibitionist and I LOVE IT

Day 297 - Natsume

Natsume is a pretty typical tsundere, but her overreactions and overwhelmed embarrassment around Sae can be super cute. And side braids are amazing!

Day 298 - Okusawa Misaki

The best (and only) bear in Bandori. I just wish she had some non-fursuit costumes in game. She's too cute to be stuck in Michelle hell forever

Day 299 - Sasasegawa Sasami

I've been posting a lot of tsundere lately, and here's another one. Sausagesegawa Salami is an ojousama-type, probably my favorite tsundere flavor. Proud and vain with that perfect laugh. She's also super endearing when vulnerable, which is always key

Day 300 - Rokujou Ichiko

I just finished this wonderful incredible anime, so it's time for a bunch of Kakushigoto-posting!

Ichiko is a seriously hot teacher. Short hair, cute tan, sporty, energetic, overexcited, and ADORABLE blushy faces. Just Extremely Attractive.

Day 301 - Sumita Rasuna

The ditzy airheaded bombshell blonde, always going at her own pace, surprisingly kind, a relaxing presence. Looks great in business and formal clothes. Minor spoiler, but I love how she seems to be by far the most successful of the assistants by the end.

Day 302 - Jouro Kumi

She's a very minor character, but she's stupid cute, just look at her. Kakushi really attracts the hotties

Day 303 - Kakei Ami

Look, I can understand tying your hair up to work, but if you leave it tied up like that 24/7 why not just cut your bangs? I guess it's kinda cute though

Day 304 - Gotou Hime

The star of the show, wonderful, entertaining, incomprehensibly adorable. Hime is why Kakushigoto is SO GOOD. Overwhelmingly kind and selfless, but totally airheaded with bizarre twists of logic, leading to the most heartwarming and hilarious situations.

Day 305 - Aoyagi Kanna

Koe de Oshigoto and Kakushigoto are both about people with embarrassing secret jobs, but the similarities end there. I won't say much about this series (it's very ecchi) or Kanna, but I liked the manga and her a lot, and it's strangely nostalgic for me.

Day 306 - Hitou Nami

Okay, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei should have been my immediate follow-up to Kakushigoto, so here it is now. Starting out with the Normal Girl

Day 307 - Tsunetsuki Matoi

Deep Love Girl might be my favorite SZS character. Her design and personality are a perfect mix of cute, funny/silly, and creepy, with a "traditional Japanese" visual flair - which is exactly what Zetsubou-sensei is all about.

Day 308 - Otonashi Meru

Cutest SZS girl, no doubt

Day 309 - Kobushi Abiru

weirdo animal tail otaku. I like her hair

Day 310 - Fuura Kafuka

My favorite thing about Kafuka is her voice, it's SUPER adorable. Same seiyuu as Fuuko from Clannad and the goofy announcer from Saki Side A. Good stuff.

One thing I didn't notice before now is her variety of hairpins, that's cute too!

Day 311 - Fuyusaka Iori

13 Sentinels doesn't do many in-game character closeups, so I'll just post the full size character portraits and three screencaps.

Iori is a dainty, naive girl, helplessly in love. Super cute, but the other girls are more interesting and outshine her.

Day 312 - Minami Natsuno

Energetic, sporty, short haired cutie with an earnest drive and Legs For Days, what's not to love? Natsuno's alien obsession and faux-ET storyline are funny and charming, too!

I don't have any screencaps of BJ sticking out of her gym bag, that's too bad

Day 313 - Yakushiji Megumi

She's a pretty glasses girl, quiet but passionate and caring, endearing facial expressions, and a good cook, so I suppose I can forgive her semi-delusional obsession and lack of morality (heck, half of the 13 Sentinels characters have the same faults)

Day 314 - Kisaragi Tomi

And now my favorites! Tomi is straightforward, canny, outgoing, playfully snarky, and her optimism and quick wit make her interactions a joy. The character who I would want to chat with the most. Also glasses, braids, forehead, white tights - yes please.

Day 315 - Sawatari Miwako

Best girl in 13 Sentinels, not even a playable character! Miwako is wonderfully flowery and fluffy, soft-spoken with an amazingly cute voice. Obsession with romance and love for her friends really drive home her girly character. I LOVE her front braids

Day 316 - Common Vampire Bat

Feeling lazy so here's another Friend - and a great one this time. Why are vampire girls always so GOOD?

I love her design, just wish she had more screentime.

Day 317 - Inaba Himeko

Inabaannn~ is super endearing. Stern and frank, but not antagonistic, and her guarded dourness comes from a place of insecurity and shyness. When she opens up it's wonderful, whether it's her piercing and snarky sense of humor or her adorable vulnerability

Day 318 - Kiriyama Yui

I don't think Yui was quite as fleshed out as the other Kokoro Connect girls, but she has her own charm - proper, uptight, almost a hime-type (especially interacting with Yoshifumi) but also fun and highly expressive with a very moe-ified character design.

Day 319 - Yamashiro Rion

Rion has this appealing cute stoicism - quietly awkward, but kind and earnest, with a genuine love for her friends. Her internal struggle about lacking a clear motivation to excel at karuta is fascinating, but she tries her best and that's good enough!

Day 320 - Shima Rin

Thinking about all the sequels next anime season, so I'll put up some characters from series I'll be watching.

Shima Rin is definitely not my favorite type of character, but I appreciate her nonetheless. Great hair and great name too (good flow, fun to say)

Day 321 - Oogaki Chiaki

Chiaki is a snarky goofball and always makes the camping club's interactions fun. She's also the Banana Queen, of course.

I was able to get an autograph from Chiaki's seiyuu, Hara Sayuri, at Otakon last year. Great experience!

Day 322 - Koshigaya Natsumi

Continuing the sequel excitement with the last Non Non Biyori main character I haven't put on here yet.

Natsumi never really stood out to me, but she definitely has some cute moments. Many funny reactions and overexcited antics, much like her sister

Day 323 - Mejiro McQueen

And now representing Horse Anime season 2, the Fancy Horse. Typical tsundere ojousama, but fairly cute. Fun relationship with Gold Ship too.

Day 324 - Frederica Baumann

SHARK MAID SHARK MAID

Day 325 - Ruri

I enjoyed Dr Stone but I guess it ended up somewhat forgettable for me. Looking forward to Stone Wars though.

Ruri is alright, I think my favorite thing about her is her relationship with her sister Kohaku, it's so cute! Always love a good pair of anime sisters

Day 326 - Emma

I hate Neverland's character designs, their dumb mouths are way too far up on their dumb faces. But Emma is alright as a character, and I am kind of interested in where the story goes in season 2.

Day 327 - Kyouryuu

Dino is an ultimate top-tier waifu, no questions asked.

But really, this dumb thing is super cute and its joyous overreactions to mundane things are always amazing.

Day 328 - Chii

I view Chii's blank slate, wish fulfillment character mostly as a plot device for the story Chobits tells. She IS extremely endearing, as she is specifically designed to be. There is also a fetishistic aspect to her relationship with Hideki, which I won't get into

Day 329 - Kiryuu Nanami

moooooo

Day 330 - Ichigaya Arisa

I'm not a fan of Arisa's personality, but she is a Certified Hottie and that's good enough for me

Day 331 - Sakuna

Sakuna is the extremization of one of my favorite archetypes, the spoiled princess. Pompous, careless, lazy, petulant, childish, super annoying, throws tantrums with a grating shrill voice. And well, I think she's great. Not exactly endearing, but a lot of fun.

Day 332 - Yui

Sakuna's cast is full of entertaining misfits, and Yui may just be the oddest. An adorable traditional Japanese beauty, but also an obsessive stalker, withdrawn and absentminded, a bit horror-movie creepy, with a thick rural accent that totally belies her looks.

Day 333 - Hina

The ultimate airhead, always stuck in her own little world, lazy and expressionless, motivated only by food. She actually does have feelings, but expresses them in bizarre ways. Strangely endearing, and a lot of Hinamatsuri's humor revolves around her weirdness.

Day 334 - Tsurugi Hina

Surprisingly the star of fishing moe for me. She's the timid, insecure protagonist in an unfamiliar situation, but instead of the typical kind milquetoast personality she's surprisingly sassy and petty, and has a fantastic bantery relationship with Natsumi

Day 335 - Satou Hina

Not a big fan of this Hina, but she does have a great name, plus she's a GAMER.

I've only seen four episodes of this anime but I had to keep the Hina streak going

Day 336 - Hodaka Natsumi

The reason why I started watching fishing moe in the first place! Hina has unexpectedly outshone her in my opinion, but Natsumi is a fun and spirited girl who brings a lot of irreverent energy to the show and drives the fun bantery interactions.

Day 337 - Oono Makoto

I like Makoto a lot more than I expected to when she was introduced! Heartwarmingly kind, shy, and easily embarrassed, but her most endearing points are her earnest passion and proclivity to lose herself in her interest. Show us her EYES though, cowards

Day 338 - Nishizono Mio

Key is on my mind since I got some new figures!

Mio is the quiet, bookish type, but instead of the expected shyness she has a quick wit and banter that's great with her deadpan delivery. Solid character route and funny fujoshi proclivities thrown in too.

Day 339 - Sakura Chiyo

big bows, big expressions, big cute
