Omega Midoriya Izuku did what no omega his age did. He had a career! He was a single, unmarried middle school teacher. He understood how cruel kids could be at this age, all too well.
But in Izuku’s classroom? No matter their presentation, everyone felt safe!
“Midoriya.” Aizawa Shota, the teacher in Izuku’s neighboring classroom,
“Somei??” Izuku gasped. “That’s far from here! And a much more elite school! Why is coming here?!”
Izuku grabbed the new list and froze at the name.
‘Bakugo Sousuke’
“You’ve got to be kidding me…” Izuku’s face paled.
“N-no!” Izuku put his hand on his scent patch to calm himself down as his heart beat wildly. “It’s just… um… Bakugo designs is a huge company! It’s REALLY strange to have their kid in public school!”
“Did I?!” Izuku laughed nervously. “I haven’t talked to that cousin in a very long long time! I surprised I mentioned her at all!”
“You’re acting strange, Midoriya. If this is a problem, I can have him in-”
Izuku thought he was prepared to meet him. The son of Bakugo Katsuki, his childhood friend, and Uraraka Ochaco, his cousin. He thought he would never get the chance!
He was contractually obliged to never get the chance!
“AWESOME! I GET MIDORIYA-NII, I M-Mean Midoriya Sensei again!” Kota, his neighbor’s son who he used to babysit, cheered.
“It’s a pleasure to have you teaching me again!”
Izuku was happy to see them all again. And almost forgot about the new student he would have to meet until he walked into the classroom and it went dead quiet as everyone stared at him like a zoo animal.
“Take a picture, it will last longer! Geez!” Bakugo Sousuke barked before turning his attention towards his new teacher. He then froze up himself as he realized just WHY everyone was staring at him so awkwardly.
Izuku wanted to crawl into a hole and die.
‘Uraraka…’ He thought to himself. ‘Your plan was very short sighted!’
Izuku would be shocked if Kacchan hadn’t figured it out by now!
“Welcome!” Izuku greeted him with a big smile.
“You’re new?! I love your bag stickers!” Eri, the class President, cheered.
“I was gonna say that!” Kota joined.
“My name is Bakugo Sousuke. I came here from Soumei Academy but,”
“Well I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself! Please! Have a seat next to Eri-Chan!” Izuku gestured toward his new desk.
“Does anyone already have high schools they are aiming to go to?”
“Huh?” Sousuke questioned. “Aren’t you an omega, Eri-chan?”
Everyone froze at the question.
“What does that have to do with anything?!” Kota asked in an irritated voice.
“Hold on, Kota-kun!”
“It’s okay!” Eri reached out and touched his shoulder like the angel she was. “In Midoriya-Sensei’s class, you can’t help but learn that no matter what you present as, the possibilities are endless!”
‘Comfort pup!’
He wanted to hold him. He wanted to tell him everything was okay!
When the bell rang, Sousuke exhaled in relief before Kota stopped by his desk.
“I’m sorry for getting mad you.” He apologized. “I’m not used to the way things are in elite circles.”
“I really didn’t know!” Sousuke bowed.
“Um… sure.” Sousuke smiled shyly.
“Bakugo-kun? Can I actually see you for a moment?” Izuku questioned.
The other kids gave him directions to where they ate lunch before leaving him and Izuku alone.
“Thank you for what you did back there. I really blew it!” Sousuke bowed in gratefulness.
“You didn’t. But… can I ask?” Izuku pointed to his scent patch.
“IS IT OBVIOUS?!” Sousuke panicked!
“No! Not at all! I just know… because I’m one too.” Izuku revealed to him before pointing to his own scent patch. “Your secret is safe with me! But.. it doesn’t have to be a secret.”
“It does have to be a secret.” Sousuke muttered. “I’m a Bakugo. No one can know. Not even my parents!”
“They don’t know?”
“No! Please don’t tell them!”
“I won’t.” Izuku promised. “But if you ever have questions or need help with anything,”
“Um… can you help me fix my scent patches then?” Sousuke questioned.
“Sure!” Izuku smiled at him. He was glad he was able to have this talk with him. The tension was broken and he could go on pretending their relationship was teacher and student and nothing else!
Memories flooded his brain he tried to forget about. Memories he pushed down long ago.
‘I know it’s you, Izuku.’ Hot breath against his skin.
“Sensei? Is everything okay?” Sousuke snapped Izuku out of his thoughts as he froze up.
“Yes! Sorry! This scent patch is stubborn!”
“Go on! Have lunch with the other kids and make some friends!” He smiled wide.
“Yes!” Sousuke bowed before rushing out the door.
“Huh? Not that I remember!” Izuku said nervously as he tried to keep the nervous sweat from pouring down his face.
“You just seem familiar, is all.” Sousuke shrugged before closing the door.
Alpha.
Kacchan.
Kacchan!
Tears poured down his face as he tried to control himself. But he couldn’t help but break down.
“It won’t work!”
“Yes, it will because it has to! You look just like me! Contacts! A wig! Some make up and he won’t know the difference!”
“I can’t trick him like this! It’s wrong!”
“If you don’t, I’ll never be able to see anything cause I’ll be dead!”
“Okay!” Izuku shivered. “I’ll do it…”
“Thank you!” She hugged him. “I’ll make sure you and your mom never worry for anything!”
Izuku remembered Kacchan’s proposal
the day before the wedding. He wondered how different his life would be if they weren’t caught.
“Thank you so much! I’ll take such good care of him, I promise.” She said after the doctors handed her his pup!
Never learned his name.
Never even knew what his face looked like until today.
It took two years for him to recover. He and his mom moved far away to keep the secret and in return lived an extremely comfortable life.
“Midoriya!” Aizawa barged in. “What’s wrong?!”
Izuku tried to pull himself together but couldn’t. “I’m sorry, Sensei…I think I’m…” He didn’t need to say more as the alpha teacher could smell it.
Izuku had taken his suppressants for years! But just like his sanity, Kacchan’s scent seemed to undo those too. He was quickly brought home to his mom as he went into his long overdue heat.
“You’re like his blonde twin!” Eri-chan had said.
“And I thought he looked more like me.” Katsuma giggled.
“Me either.” Sousuke joked along with him.
“Really?!” Eri questioned incredulously.
“Kidding.” Sousuke said before his new friends froze at the fancy sports car that pulled up to the school.
“WOAH! Look at that!” Katsuma gawked.
Oh no…
“Is that a diamond skull on the door?!” Eri questioned.
Goddamnit!
“COME ON, BRAT! I don’t have all day!”
Sousuke’s face burned as his new friends looked around, eager to see who would get in!
“Coming!” Sousuke ran in the car as fast as he could and covered his face as his father blasted the loudest most obnoxious rock music he could and sped off.
“YOU’RE A JERK!” Sousuke shouted.
“Come on! I just made you the coolest kid in school!” His father teased him.
“More like the lamest!”
“It’ll be a great ice breaker tomorrow!” His father shrugged.
“Papa.” Sousuke sighed before pouting. “You’re lucky I had a good day today.”
“Ya did?!” His father questioned excitedly.
“Yeah… public school is actually cool.”
“Can you not do this right now?” Sousuke sighed.
“Sorry. Tell me about your big new adventure in public school! It must have been weird being the new kid, huh?”
“Well good for you!” His father said sarcastically.
His family name was well known everywhere.
“You actually like your teachers?!” Katsuki questioned.
“At this school I do!” Sousuke brightened.
“Huh?!”
“Public school is so much fun, Papa!”
“Good!” Katsuki affectionately rubbed his hair before getting his hand stuck in his curls. “Shit!”
“I’m free!” The alpha sighed in relief.
“Oh.. that reminds. My new teacher, he has hair like mine!”
“Does he?”
“Mmhmm. He has green eyes too! So people think we look alike!”
“No! It was just kinda weird!”
“This teacher have a name?” Katsuki questioned him before slamming on the breaks at the sight of the car on their driveway. “FUCK! What is she doing here?!”
“Mama?!” Sousuke questioned.
“Get in the house.” Katsuki instructed his son before getting out of the car and approaching his ex wife. “What is it, huh?”
“YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY I’M HERE”
“NO! Of course not! Public school?! What were you thinking?! It was all over the news, Katsuki!” Ochaco shoved her phone in his face. “DO YOU WANT ME DEAD?! IS THAT IT?!”
“You don’t have to worry about that stuff anymore!”
“Well your Mom sure doesn’t see it that way!”
“Just leave it alone! You’re stressing yourself out! Whatever she threatened you with is impossible, alright?” He put his hand on her shoulder.
“I’m worried about our son! And nothing else!”
“You’re supposed to be taking time for yourself! Let ME do the worrying!”
“Um-” Sousuke interrupted them.
“Sorry Sousuke… you just look a lot like my cousin.” Ochaco laughed nervously.
“One who dropped off the face of the earth coincidentally after we got married…” Katsuki grumbled bitterly.
“That’s nice, dear.” Ochaco smiled tensely.
“Wait.” Katsuki froze. “That’s the first time he’s said that.”
“It’s true!” Sousuke said excitedly. “I m-made my first friends! So Mama! Can I please stay?! I really want to stay!”
“I don’t care! I don’t want to go back to Soumei! I want to stay here! Everyone is nice here! And interesting! Please, Mama?”
“Fine!” Ochaco walked to her car. “For now! But once I get settled… we will revisit this!”
“Thank you, Mama!” Sousuke ran into her arms.
“You wanna at least stay for dinner?” Katsuki questioned. “It’s the first time the kid is actually excited to talk about school.”
“I should get back. It’s a really long drive.” She opened the door.
“Okay! Bye Mama!” Sousuke waved before running inside to the private elevator that lead to their penthouse.
“What is it?” Ochaco looked at Katsuki’s imploring eyes.
“Did you do it?”
“Do what?!”
“It’s already done. See?!” Ochaco smiled before removing her scent patch to reveal no claim mark.
“That recovered fast! Isn’t it supposed to be painful?! For me too?!” Katsuki questioned.
“Don’t be crass!” Ochaco rolled her eyes.
“I can’t believe we called him Deku.” Katsuki reflected. “But damnit, Sousuke reminds me more and more of your cousin every day!”
“Has he told you he wants nothing to do with us?!” Katsuki questioned.
“He left after our wedding!”
“You can go now!” Katsuki slammed the driver side door.
“Katsuki! Don’t let Sousuke get into any more trouble!”
“Bye!”
Katsuki felt like he had been transported back in time to his middle school days! With his childhood friend visiting after school like always…
“Papa? You look like you saw a ghost!” Sousuke blinked at him.
“I think I am.” Katsuki shook his head. “You’re overthinking dinner!”
“I’m not used to making it myself!”
“Well come on, then!” Katsuki smiled. “Let me teach you.”

“Kacchan?!” Izuku jolted up out of his bed as his sudden heat calmed down.
“Izuku!” His mom was holding his hand tight by his side. “It’s been so long since you thought of all that.” She wiped the sweat off his brow. “You were crying in agony!”
“You’ve only missed a day of work! They understand! You’re an omega! It’s natural! It’s okay, baby!” She held him close. “You’re going to be okay.”
“Mom… I don’t need coddling.”
“I really am over that.” Izuku sighed. “I just missed a suppressant or something. I owe Aizawa Sensei and Principal Yagi an apology!”
“And say what?! Sorry I tricked you into sleeping with me, had your kid in secret and let my cousin lie to you for fifteen years?!”
“You were protecting Ochaco-chan.” Inko reassured him. “You were-”
“I told an unforgivable lie. I have no right to be in his life.”
Izuku suddenly remembered just how he got into this situation.
Right. Sousuke.
