Alpha Bakugo Katsuki was a great fighter. He had to do it to survive after his parents passed away due to an illness than ransacked his village. There weren’t many upstanding ways to make enough money.
Katsuki hated it and he had his ass kicked a handful of times. But soon, no one could beat him.
“That was so cool!”
“AH!” Katsuki screamed as he snuck out of his dressing room like he always did after a big fight to avoid the crowd.
“WHO THE HELL ARE YOU STALKER?!” Katsuki barked. “HOW’D YOU KNOW I LEAVE THIS WAY?!”
“You always leave this way!”
Katsuki slapped his hand over his mouth and shoved him into the nearest alley trash can.
“SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!” He snapped.
“KACCHAN?!” Katsuki couldn’t believe the brat called him something so familiar!
“Sorry! That’s what all the grown ups called you in your younger years when they placed the bets!”
“Not paying!” The omega put his finger up. “Sneaking in!”
“Huh?”
“My mom would never let me come see a violent underground fighting ring!” He chuckled. “She’s too protective!”
“Deku?!” Izuku pouted. “My name is Izuku!”
“Fuck if I care! You’re useless to me! I don’t need fans! You know how I got so strong?! You know why I do this?! Cause I had to survive, idiot!” He shoved him to the ground.
“I’m sorry! Wait! I didn’t mean to-” Izuku stood up and reached out for him,
At least he thought he did! He managed to spot Deku at almost every damn one of his next fights!
“Kacchan! That head injury looks bad! Please! Take this ice!”
“FUCK OFF!”
“Go away, Deku!”
“I fed your horse some brushed out her main for you!”
“DON’T TOUCH MOTHER OF MURDER!”
“Your house is nice and cozy.” Izuku made him some tea after Katsuki was the closest to losing he had been in a long time.
Izuku wasn’t completed dense and managed to gauge his mood as he patched him up and got a warm bath set up for him.
“I apologize for overstaying my welcome but… you work hard and… I just think you should have someone work hard for you too!”
Katsuki groaned at the cheesy sentiment before pointing at a quill and an unused journal on the kitchen counter. The omega connected the dots as he brought it to him.
Katsuki took his time writing in big letters “DON’T YOU HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO?!”
Suddenly the clock tower’s bell rung 6 times.
“Oh! It’s late! I better get back home before mom worries! Do you need anything else before I-”
Katsuki dismissed him with his hand,
“Take care, Kacchan!”
After that day, Katsuki never saw him again. As much as he hated to admit it, the loss of his presence grated on him! Months and months of stalking and yapping and suddenly it was like Deku never existed!
And the one day while he was fighting,
Big round green eyes shining through a cloth that covered half his face. It was him! It was Izuku!
“DEKU?!” Katsuki leapt out of the ring, immediately losing the fight.
“AH!” Izuku gasped before running.
“OH NO YOU DON’T! GET BACK HERE!”
“KACCHAN! STOP!” Izuku begged as he ran away.
“NO WAY! NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME WHERE YOU’VE BEEN!”
“NOWHERE!” Izuku knocked a fruit cart over as if that could stop him!
“Why’re you running, huh?! Finally found something better to do?!” The alpha sneered.
“Midoriya! There you are!” Katsuki froze at that voice.
Todoroki Touya.
“Running away again?” He shook his head. “What am I gonna do with you?”
“What the hell do you want with Deku?!” Katsuki growled.
“Give him here, Bakugo. And I’ll pay you the money you lost out on.” Touya held his hand before pulling it back. “Actually… I have a better idea!”
“I’d rather eat shit than work for you!”
“Fine then. Be ready to never see him again.” Touya leered. “I’ll just break his legs since you won’t help!”
“What the hell did you say?!” Katsuki was about to lunch at him before the Duke’s right hand pulled out a sword.
“KACCHAN!”
“Aizawa-Sensei…” Izuku grumbled.
“I’m sorry he caused you trouble.” Aizawa apologized to Katsuki. “Get in, Midoriya. Before anyone else sees you.”
“Aizawa, look at this! This fighter here is the best in the ring! And he got Midoriya under control in less than five minutes! Let’s hire him to keep him under control!”
“Is this who you snuck out to see?” Aizawa questioned Izuku who looked away in shame.
“Get in, then Bakugo.” Aizawa demanded. “Before you get thrown in jail for kidnapping the Duke’s wife.”
The Duke’s wife? He looked down to the tears prickling in Izuku’s eyes. He was his age. 15! And the Duke was young but he was way too old to be with someone like Deku!
“I’m so sorry, Kacchan!” Izuku croaked as Touya forced them all into the carriage.
“Kacchan, I’m really-” Izuku tried to apologize again as soon as they entered the tall mahogany doors with solid gold knobs before Touya shoved him toward the stairs.
“Enough Todoroki!” Aizawa scolded. “Midoriya, leave it to me. Go.”
“You go too, Todoroki.” Aizawa instructed. “I’ll inform him of everything.”
“Ya sure? You know his reputation!” Touya pointed the sword to Katsuki’s neck. “He can take down ten of our guards.”
“Whatever…” Touya grumbled before walking away towards the opposite stair case that Deku used.
“He’s only 22, and far far too irrational himself.” Aizawa explained. “Come with me this way, I’ll tell you everything.”
“I’m fine.” Katsuki clicked his tongue.
“Suit yourself. As I was saying, the Duke, Takami Keigo tends to make quick rash decisions in everything he does. He is never in one place too long.”
“Of course I do research on everyone the Duke brings home before they leave the next morning and draft papers for them to sign swearing them to secrecy. And when I found out Midoriya’s age,”
“Huh?! How does that fix anything?!”
“So you want me to keep him inside for three damn years?!”
“My horse.” Katsuki growled. “There a stable for her?!”
“Of course.” Aizawa sighed, glad he didn’t have to fight him himself.
He stood in front of the Duke’s large marble doors before pounding on it.
“Deku! You in there?!”
The door slowly opened as Izuku peaked out from behind it. “You took it?”
“Didn’t have a choice.”
“I’m sorry…” Izuku moped as he opened the door fully.
“R-right…” Izuku brightened. “I guess I do…”
“AHH! KACCHAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Izuku blushed as the alpha threw him on the bed.
“I’m your jailer now, Deku!” He grinned evily, making Izuku laugh.
Katsuki didn’t realize how much he missed his smile until then. Damn… his chest ached from how much relief he felt that he now knew exactly where Izuku was… and he didn’t find something better than him.
“KACCHAN?!”
