How To Construct A Powerful Headline A near-foolproof headline...

A near-foolproof headline structure.
(Perfect for new copywriters.)
// THREAD //
Now I'm going to show you how to build on it to create an even more powerful headline.

1) Problem
2) Promise
3) Proof
Let's take a closer look...
You state the problem as a question in your preheader.
This calls out your target market.
And it sets up the main headline.
For example:
"Struggling to make sales?"
Then in your main headline you promise a solution.
Your promise wants to be as specific as possible.
And ideally it wants to be something your prospects haven't heard before.
For example:
"Triple Your Conversions in Seven Days..."
You finish the headline with a proof and credibility element.
It goes in your deck copy (aka the subheadline).
And wants to be something that makes your promise more believable.
For example:
"With the same system used by Nike, Apple, and Disney"
"Struggling to make sales?
Triple Your Conversions in Seven Days...
With the same system used by Nike, Apple, and Disney"
Notice how...
Even my quick example works well.
And that's because the power comes from the structure.
Not from the exact wording.
So as long as...
- Call out your audience's problem.
- Make them a specific promise.
- Prove you can deliver on it.
