#統計 compatibilityの翻訳語の選択は非常に大事

論文の大事なポイントは、P値を二分法的に使わずに連続的なグラデーションで解釈することです。

「互換性」だと「互換/非互換」の二値的ニュアンスが強い。

連続的な程度を表すには「相性」もしくは「相性の良さ」と訳す方が良いと思います。続く

#統計この手の生成AIの利用によって、P値や信頼区間の安全な解釈の仕方を示唆するために使われているcompatibilityの語を安易に「互換性」と翻訳する人が増えないで欲しいと思います。

すでに発見済み。案の定ブロックされていた。統計学的にダメな人は私のような素人の批判に耐えられない。

#統計この動画ではP値が「仮説とデータの相性の良さ」を表していることを説明しているのですが、それをそのまま受け入れるのはまずくて、P値は本当は

　特定のモデルと仮説とデータの値の相性の良さ

の指標です。モデルを意識できない人はP値もまともに解釈できない。多くの人はそこで潰れる。

#統計 仮説をモデルの中に含めてしまうと、P値はモデルとデータの値の相性の良さの指標の1つ(他にもある)だということになります。

そして、モデルの確率分布の下でのデータの値の意外度(S値)が高いときには意外度の分だけ相性は悪いと考える。

これが現代的なP値の解釈の仕方です。
