Don't complicate trading 🧵 Just "enter according to the rules",...

Most people feel "trading is difficult" not because of a lack of technical understanding or the absence of a strategy.
The real difficulty lies in the extremely simple action of "just following predetermined rules" being obstructed by "your emotions, opinions, or attachment to winning and losing".
In reality, the task of "mindlessly repeating predetermined actions" tests the purity of your belief more than your knowledge.
If you completely believe that "these rules work", emotions won't interfere.
However, if there is even a slight distrust in your rules, "exception handling" occurs, such as:
・"I lost last time, so I'll skip this trade."
・"I've been winning recently, so I'll take profits earlier this time."
This breaks consistency.
Trading failures are usually caused not because the rules were bad, but because you "broke the rules due to not fully believing in them."
The issue is "this rule works" and "with how large a sample size" you believe it.
Trading is not a "game of wins and losses" but a "game of probabilities."
Probability works through the law of large numbers with a large sample size; if the sample size you're looking at is small, it becomes a "game of wins and losses," and if the sample size you're looking at is large, it becomes a "game of probabilities."
The reason you can't fully trust your rules is that you are considering them within too small of a sample size.
Small sample sizes inevitably experience strong effects of randomness.
Never attempt to judge something based on a small sample size heavily influenced by randomness.
Your trust in your strategy must be rooted in a large sample size.
If your trust is rooted in a large sample size, and your mistaken belief that "the immediate win or loss has value" has been completely replaced by a belief rooted in probability—"absolute consistency will reveal the edge and lead to success"—then you'll never abandon consistency, no matter what happens.
This is because abandoning consistency and abandoning success come as a set.
Your growth and improvement become truly meaningful only when based on the belief that "absolute consistency will reveal the edge and lead to success".
Trade according to your rules.
Repeat "simple things simply" consistently, over the long term.
How deeply you can believe and execute this "simple action" determines your strength as a trader.
It's not a game of wins and losses, but a game of probabilities.
The only thing you must do is "correctly repeat the correct rules".
When you deeply believe this simple truth, trading will suddenly become calm and clear.
