2/ So, here's a post that went out on a Facebook Group that went insanely viral. We've shared this exact one on dozens of Pages over the years and it does well each time, given that the demographic is the right one. If you share it on the wrong page (i.e. one with a younger audience), it will BOMB.
This is one of those nostalgia type posts that will appeal to most people in the 35+ age demographic and beyond. When you can tap into something lots of people did in their childhood or foundational years and tap into that childhood nostalgia = $$$$.

4/ Facebook Groups are an excellent way to scale the growth of your own Facebook Page, especially when they're smaller. It allows you to tap into a larger audience and convert them into followers of your own.

5/ If they wanted to make even more money from a post like this, they could have created an article that goes with it (image + link in first comment format) that makes a list of similar nostalgic snacks that people would have eaten when growing up. Then, every time you share a post about snacks, you can include that listicle. Bam! Money!

6/ This post also did super well because it looks REAL and AUTHENTIC. You may think that such a simple and ugly picture wouldn't perform well, but you'd be completely and utterly devastatingly WRONG! Pictures that look like they were taken with an old flip phone that your 5 year old daughter found under your deceased grandmother's couch oftentimes tend to perform the best. Anything overly produced (think: stock photos) stink of inauthenticity and don't perform as a result.
