Was Dietrich Bonhoeffer the only Christian traitor attempting to overthrow National Socialism?
The following official SD/SS report indicate that he was only part of a MASSIVE NETWORK OF CHURCHES reaching internationally, all working together to assist the Allies prevail against the Third Reich.
________
"Dietrich Bonhoeffer, was also a well-known representative of the Confessing Church. He traveled to Sweden and Norway several times with Moltke. Like Gerstenmaier, he was completely oppositional" "Further foreign connections were made through the General Secretary of the Lutheran Relt Convention, Pastor Lilje. Lilje was also general secretary of the German Christian Student Association and had already undertaken a large number of trips abroad before the war, including to America and India as well as to most European countries, and had mainly taken part in theological conferences and given lectures at various foreign universities.
Through his participation in the meetings of the Administrative Council of the Lutheran World Convention (Chairman: Regional Bishop Aarahrens), he was familiar with the most important personalities of the Lutheran Church abroad. The social center of these circles in Berlin was the General Councilor Zastrow, with whom Torck, Gerstenneier and Bishop Heckel, among others, lived. Lectures of a church nature were given at Zastrow, particularly about the situation of the church abroad"

"Church connections abroad—Of particular importance are the connections that were maintained within the circle of conspirators via church branches to church authorities abroad.
Through the international connections of both Protestant and Catholic a special intelligence service was set up here by the clergy, which meant that foreign countries were always extremely well informed about the opposition activities within Germany. " (Pages 183-185)

"Goerdeler maintained another connection with Pastor Siegmund Schulze in Switzerland. Schulze, for his part, maintained connections with ecclesiastical circles in the English High Church, the American Church, the Catholic Church, and even the Orthodox Church in the Balkans.
Goerdeler comments on this connection as follows: "Schulze believed that he had such strong and effective relationships with the churches of England and the United States, as well as with the Pope, that exploiting them could significantly promote understanding. The churches of England and the USA were ready to put an end to it of the fratricidal war between the great Germanic races. The Pope would immediately act with the same emphasis." (Page 189)
"Canaris and Oster maintained connections to the Pope through the former Munich lawyer Dr. Joseph Müller. Müller was introduced to the then Cardinal Secretary of State Pacelli through the mediation of a Comcapitular Heuhäusler from Rünchen and was married by him in the crypt of Saint Peter's tomb. As he says, this would have given him a certain reputation in Vatican circles, since this event was quite an exception.
Müller then came into a certain personal relationship with Pacelli through numerous encounters, which also led to political discussions. Pacelli has shown himself to be particularly approachable and accommodating towards him." (Page 191)
"Gessler was also one of those who repeatedly gave in to the hope that peace could be achieved through the Vatican (Hassell interrogation) As Wassell points out, the church's foreign connections were also strongly supported by Canaris, who campaigned very often for the UK placement of clergy for the purpose of their use or connection to church circles in Sweden, Switzerland or the Vatican." The same Christian church networks were involved in the July Plot assassination attempt against Adolf Hitler:

Dear Party Comrade Bormann,
Enclosed I am sending you a summarized overview of the confessional ties and ecclesiastical connections of the clique of conspirators from the 20th of July.
---
Subject: 20 July 1944
The Confessional Ties and Ecclesiastical Connections of the Conspirator Clique.
In the investigations into the events of 20 July 1944, it has repeatedly emerged that confessional ties and ecclesiastical connections played a significant role in the conspirator clique.
1. A portion of the individuals who had to be included in the investigation stated that they were devout Christians of the Protestant or Catholic faith.
2. Another portion held firmly to traditional ties of a Christian-ecclesiastical nature.
3. A considerable number of those involved on 20 July came from the political work of Catholicism (Catholic Action, the Centre Party, Christian trade unions) or were part of the Confessing Church.
4. Despite the diversity of the individuals’ relationships with Christianity and the Church, these confessional ties determined their attitude towards National Socialism, at least to the extent that they approached National Socialism with reservations, criticism, or outright rejection.
5. Despite all the differences and contradictions encountered within the broader circle of conspirators, there was a certain agreement that Christianity should provide the moral foundation of the state, although it was left open as to whether Christianity might eventually be replaced by another stable world order.
6. Many efforts were directed towards strengthening the non-National Socialist state through the influence of the Churches over the people and providing the Churches with every opportunity to develop in religious and charitable terms.
7. Within the individual groups, there were strong disputes over whether the new state should be proclaimed as Christian in such a way as to conduct explicitly Christian policies.

The report documents the motivations of the anti-National Socialist conspirators within Germany, concluding that they were all united through Christian faith.
Paragraph 5 from this report has very interesting wording. It states, "Christianity should provide the moral foundation of the new state" (once National Socialism was gone). The implication here is that they felt Christianity was NOT already the foundation of the state.

None of them can explain this, thy just ignore it and pretend it was only a handful when it was quite literally an international conspiracy of churches.
I can guess Corey would try to minimize this and imply it was just a few guys, not a massive, multi-faith, international network of churches.
Catholics, Protestants, Lutherans, Jehovah's Witnesses, Evangelicals...etc, ALL of them worked together.
Just shows how thin the evidence is and how he must scrape from the bottom of the barrel in order to create that thesis.
