Went on a date with a 23-year-old woman last weekend. She showed up...

She showed up looking good, smelled amazing, and had a plan for the evening.
She asked me questions about my life and actually listened to the answers.
She laughed at my jokes, put her phone away, and made it obvious she was happy to be there.
When the bill came, she looked at me and said, “You paid for dinner last time. Let me get this one.”
After dinner, she suggested we go somewhere for dessert.
We ended up talking in the car for almost two hours.
Before she left, she hugged me and said, “Text me when you get home. I want to know you made it safely.”
I got home, and before I could even text her, she messaged me first.
“Tonight was really nice. When are you taking me out again? 😂❤️”
I sat there looking at my phone like…
WAIT.
She can communicate without making you guess?
She can show effort without expecting you to read her mind?
Meanwhile, some women will leave you on delivered for two days, reply with one word, refuse to make plans, and still expect you to pursue them like you’re applying for a job.
And if you stop trying, suddenly you “weren’t serious about her.”
Listen, I’m not saying every woman should pay for dates or that men shouldn’t take the lead.
I’m saying being pursued feels good for men, too.
We want to feel wanted.
We want someone who makes plans with us.
We want affection that doesn’t have to be begged for.
A man can enjoy being the provider and still want a woman who puts in effort.
Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.
Because some of you have confused being a man with being the only person trying in a relationship.
