You can't wait because you "think too much"🧵 Even though you closed...

Waiting is very important in trading.
You have to wait for the right entry point, wait for the profit to grow, etc., and charts need time to form, so we traders have to wait for everything.
During that time, there is nothing we can do but wait.
There is nothing you can do, which means "you should not do anything."
The more you are driven by anxiety and keep looking at the chart, the more that anxious energy will prompt you to take actions you shouldn't.
Even though you still have to wait, you may settle too early out of fear or anxiety of losing unrealized profits and miss the trend you should have taken, or you may enter earlier than the original entry point out of impatience that "you might miss it," and end up with a loss without the original entry point even appearing.
As long as you are driven by the emotion of anxiety, there is already a risk lurking in that chart monitoring.
While waiting, don't think "I wonder how the chart is now?"
The more you think, the more you will be concerned.
When you next need to check the chart is when the price reaches a certain point, or how many candlesticks are needed at the shortest to form the required chart pattern, so make good use of price alerts and clock alarms to leave the chart and do something else.
You have nothing more to do with the chart.
You don't need to think, and thinking is rather a risk.
If you are really anxious and suffering, try to verbalize that feeling in a journal.
- I am anxious and suffering because I am worried about the chart now
- I am very concerned about the trading results in front of me
- My job is to keep acting according to the rules
- I was able to act according to the rules without any problems
- Even if I don't know the results yet, I have already had a good trade today
- This trading result does not determine whether my trade was good or not
- What determines whether my trade is good now is to do nothing according to the rules
- I am not an immature trader who is swayed by results
- However, this emotion tells me that I still have beliefs that I have not fully transformed
- I have not yet fully transformed the belief that "winning and losing have value" into probabilistic thinking
- Now that I am able to act according to the rules, based on this anxiety, what I should do is not to worry about the chart and open it, but to do what I can to better understand probabilistic thinking
And so on
If you "think only in your head," the thought process (connection of language) that reinforces that emotion will continue to be generated as an automatic reaction and the anxiety will be strengthened, but by verbalizing and writing it down in front of you, logical thinking will prevail and lead you to a positive solution starting from emotional problems.
Please introspect yourself and discover how different it is when your brain is emotion-dominated and automatically connecting language, and when it is logic-dominated and connecting language.
You can realize the effect of writing.
If you think about various things only in your head, delusions will create further suffering.
The root of that suffering is delusion, and the root of delusion is desire and fear.
Delusion is a thought process, and in other words, it is a process of language connection and an automatic reaction.
What you think may seem to be under control at first glance, but not everything is controlled, and it continues to appear automatically.
Instead of continuing to think only in your head, just changing to the act of "writing" will bring a slight change to your automatic reaction.
I understand the feeling of not being able to wait, being painful, and anxious, but it may be telling you that there is still something you need to learn.
Observe your inner self well, verbalize it, and try to write it down in front of you.
You can't wait because you "think too much" about "how the chart is now," but let's change the direction of that "thinking too much" a little.
