1/9 Divide and conquer: If russia or china were to install an intelligence agent as a candidate for US president, he would behave just like Donald Trump. Opinion by @joni_askola
2
2/9 Many of us question whether Trump is a foreign asset or merely a useful huge idiot. For years, he has surrounded himself with pro-russian individuals and russian assets, consistently avoiding criticism of russia and promoting pro-russian rhetoric.
3
3/9 Yesterday, at the Economic Club of New York, Trump stated that he would lift sanctions on russia and iran to safeguard the dollar. This is outrageous and completely contrary to US interests. It aligns perfectly with what russia and china would desire.
4
4/9 Trump often claims to be the best, but he has truly excelled in one area: polarizing American society and eroding trust in various institutions, including the media. He has definitely mastered that.
5
5/9 russia also invests in influencers who work to get Trump elected and undermine Democrats, as evidenced by their actions with Tenet Media. All of their influencers were focused on ensuring that Democrats lost the elections.
6
6/9 Trump consistently aligns himself with the enemies of the US. He was once perceived as tough on china, but now he is the biggest of TikTok. He also refuses to hold US adversaries accountable for their actions.
7
7/9 Trump's isolationist positions would lead to significant power vacuums globally, precisely what china and russia desire, as they would be the ones to fill those voids and gain influence in the process.
8
8/9 It is difficult to determine whether Trump is a genuine foreign asset or simply an incredibly useful mega idiot, but if china or russia had an agent running for president, he would closely resemble Trump.
