In this thread, I will cover the following:

- What single prints are
- TPO settings for single prints

What are single prints?

Single prints refer to consecutive blocks of 1 on the TPO (Time Price Opportunity) where price has spent little time.

Essentially, it represents a situation where a single 30-minute candle (in most cases) has occupied that particular area.

TPO Settings:

BTC/USDT
block size → 30m
ticks per row → 250-300

*tick size varies upon volatility, 250-350 is just a regular range I end up using.

Executing from single print levels:

Single prints are a price zone and not individual levels.

I like to separate this zone into two individual price levels:

- start of the single prints
- end of the single prints

Start of the single prints (first touch):

Great for use as a point of interest (POI).

→ Especially if there is a series of consecutive higher lows or lower highs before the start of the prints.

Start of single prints + resting internal liquidity = POI.

Acceptance into single prints:

I do not take any trades in the middle of single prints.

If price is in the middle of the single prints, I would expect a full rotation to the other side.

If I see price in the middle of single prints, I sit on my hands. There is no trade for me.

End of the single prints (once filled):

I only trade this if there is clear volume-based support/resistance or level in confluence with the single print being filled.

I will not trade this on its own; there must be confluence with SP fill to make it a point of interest (POI).

Note:

When I mention "poi" (point of interest), it indicates my level of interest and reaction monitoring. It doesn't guarantee a trade at that level.
