This new rash of seemingly "controlled killers" had me curious about what kinds of neuronal interface systems DARPA has been working on. This research is all ostensibly for therapeutic purposes, but a lot of this could be used to completely control people

Deep Brain Stimulation involves surgery with a long needle with electrodes at the end of it. It's not clear whether a patient has free will or not

3
Transcranial Brain Stimulation doesn't require surgery and selectively activates certain parts of the brain

And then there are Feedback Loop scenarios in which a person's neuronal activity is sent to a "command," which in turn sends instructions that can steer the person towards desired behavior. This could be achieved by surgically implanting microchips on the surface of the brain

By the way, just think about the implications of "Silent Talk" from the first post

A DIA-sponsored study from 2008 warned us that over the next 20 years the military would figure out how to read minds, enhance people's brains, control the cognitive states and intentions of others

One article talks about the possibilities of a Brain-Computer Interface, one example of Deep Brain Stimulation. This would be a "Closed Loop" scenario. This is in development.

Neuromodulation has been used for 50 years for "performance enhancement," but you could really use it to make any neurons fire. There's no limit to what kinds of neural pathways you could build

If they can encode the brain with false memories, it's kind of a rabbit-hole of possibilities

All of the above is on TOP of the research that came out of MKULTRA and its affiliated programs in the 50s and 60s

Interesting DARPA program can analyze patterns in your everyday behaviors to provide a general metric of your psychological health. Big data at work. From the DARPA website

Many tests were sponsored by the CIA and designed to study behavior modification/mind control or different ways to "break a man"

Above document from here. Service members aren't always told what will happen to them and they don't feel like they can refuse to participate documents.theblackvault.com/documents/mind…

Interesting 2019 document outlines the requirements for doing research on active duty personnel. They say no one can be forced to participate and they stress "adherence to ethical standards," but this is the US military, so call me skeptical cdmrp.health.mil/vrp/pdf/A%20Pr…

And as @Covertbook just told me, companies like Holosonic already have "voice inside your head" technology lshompole.com/creepy-tech/s1…

@Covertbook Here's an interesting paper on mass shootings perpetrated by military personnel. Statistically they are over-represented among offenders and almost half of them are guilty of leakage (warning someone before the attack) journals.shareok.org/jofsw/article/…
