Do not trust the Chicago, or Austrian schools or any Libertarianism for that matter. They were generated and propelled in the midst of powerful Neoliberal Foundation funding (qua Mont Pèlerin Society)—the same that gave us the New Left of '68.

Mont Pèlerin could've been cool(ish) but Knight literally took problem with taking after Acton and Tocqueville for being "Roman Catholic aristocrats". Oh, and Mises took issue with them too.

At least the Austrians were too much for the Foundation funding guys so there's something to be gleaned from them, maybe. But Mises's brand of empiricism is so laughably stupid in its application and insane thereby, so why bother?
