Okay, I can't help it. I'm going through the recent Stephen Paddock document release. A couple things I didn't know: Paddock had worked for the Postal Service and the IRS. Just gonna post some things I've noticed below. vault.fbi.gov/stephen-paddoc…
2
Unsubstantiated report that Paddock had been placed on psychiatric hold at Mesa View hospital in Mesquite.
3
This is what people have been talking about - the report that Paddock was mad at the way he'd been treated by Mandalay Bay as a high roller, and it caused him to snap. But I haven't seen any evidence that he complained to MB about this
4
Some frustrating redactions about people who had been in contact with Paddock in the days leading up to the massacre
5
Whose redacted fingerprints did the FBI analyze here? Not Paddock's - his are down below.
6
Seems significant that Paddock had an uncharacteristic argument in which he threatened to kill someone about a month before the massacre?
7
Paddock was going to gun shows with some group, not as a lone nut. One event would've require an invite from someone in this "group"
8
While at the IRS he was an auditor for companies with defense contracts until ‘84. He then worked for a company that became Lockheed Martin foxnews.com/us/las-vegas-s…
9
Three months before the massacre he was emailing someone about rifles npr.org/sections/thetw…
10
Paddock was with an unidentified Asian woman on Sep. 29. Who was she? His girlfriend was in the Phillipines. And it's weird that Paddock, who rarely drank, was drunk that night lvmpd.com/en-us/Document…
11
Hundreds of images of child porn were found on Paddock's computer, and then his brother was arrested on child porn charges less than a month later. And these were Paddock's Google searches. He looked up the hot rod racing schedule and NV gun shows the day before the massacre?
12
From the police radio: This could be just confusion of the moment, but early reports include an active shooter inside the fairgrounds, and shots coming from Gate 7. And then "Sounds like it's confirmed at least two shooters" from 29th and 32nd floors youtu.be/1xAcTKNpDeY
13
And then later there are the reports of active shooters all up and down the strip, including the one at the front desk of New York New York. 150 people taking shelter in the kitchen. Two shots fired, several subjects down. Turned out to be nothing? What happened?
14
Tropicana, Luxor - the reports were coming in from everywhere, long after Paddock died at around 10:15. What the hell was all that?
15
Knowing that Paddock was in contact with a circle of people who knew his plans and was seen drunk with a woman just before the massacre, plus the seemingly orchestrated chaos of that night- and knowing of the FBI’s entrapment of conservatives of late -
16
Given the FBI informants’ involvement in Jan 6 and the Whitmer kidnappings, and their institutional interest in discrediting the right wing; and seeing fingerprints of others unknown in the Paddock case, including multiple laptops and cell phones, I’d say it’s worth looking into
17
And on top of this, the Vegas PD tried to prevent the public from learning this stuff
Just revisiting this. As early as May 2017, Stephen Paddock was TELLING PEOPLE HE WANTED TO KILL PEOPLE. The Vegas PD hid this evidence. reviewjournal.com/crime/homicide…
18
So were there others involved in the event? Did the Vegas police cover it up? Did Trump reward Lombardo for this? And how did John Pelletier end up presiding over another disaster in Maui?usatoday.com/story/news/nat…
19
I think Trump’s DOJ entrapped and targeted right wing extremists, and since it served law enforcement’s interests in their larger strategy of tension, he allowed it to happen but didn’t want to be connected with it. The Vegas massacre may have been a part of this
20
As a reminder, Paddock began his decade as a government employee while his father was on the FBI Most Wanted list- he was then arrested and ended up on parole. And Paddock then worked for a government contractor abcactionnews.com/news/local-new…
21
Paddock then ended up getting rich in real estate before becoming a Vegas high roller who was being tracked very closely indeed by the casinos
22
The staggering amount of data the casinos would’ve collected on Paddock, and then could’ve shared with other casinos, businesses and law enforcement scholars.law.unlv.edu/cgi/viewconten…
23
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a bureau in the Dept. of Treasury, collects tons of this casino data looking for money laundering. These are basically full behavior profiles of people like Paddock blankrome.com/publications/f…
24
FinCEN then can share this data with other law enforcement agencies after it is run through SEVERAL federal databases
25
Is it outrageous to imagine feds accessing Paddock? The Proud Boys and Oath keepers were saturated with informants. Paddock shared their views and had a circle of like-minded acquaintances through the gun show circuit, where these groups got their guns
Paddock’s friend and felon Jimmy Nixon, who wrote him letters telling him not to do something crazy, changed the story of how he met Paddock several times reviewjournal.com/crime/homicide…
28
The mysterious origin of these letters to Paddock, the mystery of his friendship with Nixon, and the FBI’s heavy redactions
29
Undercover police worked with feds to monitor gun show attendees throughout NV, CA, AZ crpa.org/news/crpa/gun-…
30
From a 2017 Congressional hearing: As of 2016 the ATF was using over 1800 confidential informants with an incredible lack of oversight. Informants were given extensive leeway to encourage criminal activity. govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CH…
31
ATF Deputy Director Ronald Turk secretly authored a white paper recommending a reduction in firearms regulations, in a gift to the gun industry. The ATF doing everything it can to increase crime. s3.amazonaws.com/brady-static/R…
32
Since 1980 the government has allowed informants to commit crimes in the course of their work. Report from the Government Accountability Office: gao.gov/assets/gao-15-…
33
What informants are technically allowed and not allowed to do. With the corruption and the vagueness, there's some wiggle room here
34
To return to the Jim Nixon letters to Paddock, I think there's something very weird about Nixon. He spent years in prison for tax fraud (Paddock was a former IRS guy), and never contacted authorities when Paddock mentioned his desire to commit mass murder.
35
Law enforcement received over 200 reports of Paddock's suspicious transactions for three years. The casinos and FinCEN had a ton of data on him. abcnews.go.com/US/vegas-shoot…
36
And I can't believe the Paddock family wasn't being monitored by the FBI while their father was on the Most Wanted List for a decade reviewjournal.com/crime/shooting…
37
And yes, the Paddock family was under FBI surveillance from as early as 1960, and would've remained on their radar until '78 when the older Paddock was apprehended. And by that time Stephen himself was a federal employee
38
Back to the FBI's 2023 document release: unknown finger prints on items in the hotel room. AFAIK, the only known housecleaner had been in his room four days before the murder
39
Other encounters with Paddock before the shooting - it's weird that some found him to be quiet and serious but others were reporting these deranged outbursts ktnv.com/news/las-vegas…
40
As the above article describes, he offered one guy $500 to make him multiple AR15s that could be converted from semi-automatic to automatic, which was clearly illegal. Weird when you consider how careful he normally was to follow the law
41
Paddock's girlfriend went to the Phillipines on Sept 25th and on the 29th he was eating dinner with a woman who looked like her at the noodle shop at the Mandalay Bay. Who was this woman? Who?? jacksonville.com/story/news/nat…
42
This guy noticed Paddock's methodical genius, conservative beliefs and robust knowledge of the 2nd Amendment going back to 2013. The thing was, Paddock didn't "snap" - he was methodically planning the massacre for probably a year theguardian.com/us-news/2017/o…
43
Could Paddock have had handlers who encouraged him and then totally disappeared? Yes. Remember the 2021 report on the Pentagon’s secret “signature reduction” program? 60,000 people who operate in the twilight between overt and covert ops. newsweek.com/exclusive-insi…
44
Were the three white men seen by witnesses during the San Bernardino massacre a part of this signature reduction program?
45
Just fyi, the FBI’s redactions are so egregious that the Las Vegas Review-Journal is also asking “what is the FBI hiding?reviewjournal.com/news/politics-…
46
Whenever the feds release hundreds of pages of documents and 75% of them are redacted, and we ask “what are you hiding” they say “oh don’t be a conspiracy theorist”
47
If Gladio in Europe was a Cold War operation to discredit and terrorize the left, domestic Gladio alternately does this to the left, right militias, Muslims using similar methods with different political goals threemonkeysonline.com/n-a-t-o-gladio…
48
Notice how police benefit from all these attacks: their budgets increase and they get new miitary gear and most importantly, the public is full of fear and it creates a demand for police protection x.com/books_rum/stat…
