It's all going super well. They pack together, WWX gives A-Yuan The Talk and they avoid each other's eyes for an afternoon, he shares his own college stories, and he makes sure A-Yuan knows how proud WWX is of him.

WWX blinks at LWJ, who he hasn't seen since he graduated from CR, which makes him think back to his college days, which reminds him of A-Yuan, which makes him finally burst into tears.

LWJ is very nice and lets him cry until he tires himself out, then listens patiently as WWX tells him about A-Yuan and how he doesn't know what to do with himself now, and how he's lowkey planning on just coming to CR every day and sitting at this cafe like a creep to see his kid
