Now, ofc wy is not awake at this hour cause she just got up, nope. As it happens, most times (all of them) she has yet to go to bed, too busy with the final touches on her PhD paper, as Beautiful Runner TM goes by her, looking fresh and put together even as she runs UP the street

To be fair, it's not that wy is spying on her like a creep, no. It's more like she couldn't /not/ notice the woman as she runs right by wy's window in all her well-toned-light-blue-legging-clad-long-legs glory with her matching top supporting her big bouncing breas---

wy shakes her head at herself, feeling like a bad male writer as she later has to backspace all the boob praise from her gdoc.

Every morning.

It goes like this until one day, after Beautiful Runner TM has gone by, wy's sleep-deprived mind has an idea as her eyes catch on the forgotten box of chalks on her desk.

The next morning, lz catches sight of something written on the pavement as she runs. She almost ignores it but her eyes catch on the words and it seems like a message... for her.

Lz doesn't stop or look around tho, and by the time she makes it back home, she has all but forgotten about it.

Until it happens again the following day.

U GOT THIS!!!

Lz, who knows very well she "got this" and never needed encouragement to follow her morning routine, is intrigued. But still, she doesn't stop in her tracks, tho this time she does take a discreet look around.

It keeps on happening.

RUN, JIEJIE, RUN

YOU ROCK!! KEEP UP!!

And then they take a curious turn.

I WALKED (OUTTA BED) SO YOU COULD RUN!

RUNNING IS CHEAPER THAN THERAPY

NEVER STOP (SRSLY, THE 5SECS YOU RUN BY ARE THE ONLY THING KEEPING ME SANE)

This time Lz does stop to look around. 

Aaaand, out of the corner of her eye, she catches the flash of a bouncing ponytail as someone ducks under their cluttered desk.

WY: shitshitshitshitshit

Lz: 🤔🤔

Lz is almost certain (and slightly disappointed if she were to be honest with herself) that there will not be any notes on the pavement the next morning.

So she's a bit surprised (and relieved) when she jogs (if she's started going on a slower pace at this block that's her business) by the same spot and immediately sees the words:

SORRY. NOT A CREEP, PROMISE.

She stares at it for a while, then turns to look at the house where she saw movement yesterday. 

This time she catches WY red-handed, leaving no time for her to duck behind her computer or under the desk.

Their immediate thoughts go as follows:

WY: oh no, she saw me

LZ: oh no, she's hot

Luckily lz manages to unfreeze first and she nods at her Cute Cheerleader TM in thanks. A second later her Cute Cheerleader TM also unfreezes and her mouth (very kissable, lz can tell even from where she is) goes from😮 to a broad shiny smile as she waves to lz.

Unfortunately, they both have things to do so lz goes on with her jog and wy goes back to her paper. 

But, the next morning, lz rushes to her Cute Cheerleader TM block and then slows into a jog as she gets there.

She immediately spots the big arrow pointing to Cute Cheerleader's house. Inside the arrow, the message:

WANNA COME IN?

And when she looks at the house, the door is open, cause her Cute Cheerleader is standing there. 

Lz walks up to her.

WY tuts: Jiejie you are very distracting.

LZ: Likewise.

WY: What shall we do about it?

LZ (+18 thoughts downloading as they speak): We did wake up early for a reason. Mine was to exercise, which can still be achieved. Yours?

WY, lol: Wake up? Jiejie i haven't even gone to bed yet

And so lz learns that wy's sleep schedule is nonexistent, and wy learns that lz is new in town and is the most organized person she's ever met, so much so she has a hard time meeting people cause she never deviates from her schedule.

And together they find a balance, wy learns to go to bed at slightly more reasonable hours, and lz learns to let go sometimes and live a little.

Also, they have lots of sex cause that's all the exercising lz can get wy to do and that's the only thing that'll keep lz in awake in bed past 9am. And they're both more than okay with that. The end.
