@jaketapper 😂 You seem awfully concerned about Trump’s message, Jake. But here’s the simple question: if you’re standing firmly on the ROCK OF TRUTH, what exactly are you afraid of?
Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32 Scripture also says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
So instead of all the hand-wringing, show us what Trump actually said that is false. Which words are untrue? Which claims cannot withstand examination? What exactly are you so concerned Americans might hear? If Trump is wrong, then TRUTH should expose it. And if the message withstands examination, perhaps that is what makes this so uncomfortable. 😏
Psalm 37 gives an even more sobering warning. Psalm 37:10 says that the wicked will soon pass away, while Psalm 37:13 declares: “The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.” God is not intimidated by those who oppose Him or His truth. Their opposition cannot change the outcome.
Trump says MAGA Inc. will now pay for the ads, so the taxpayer-funding objection still doesn’t answer the bigger question: IS THE MESSAGE TRUE OR FALSE?
Fear doesn’t determine truth, Jake. TRUTH does not fear examination. TRUTH withstands it. It certainly appears that you’re afraid the truth may soon destroy the narrative you’ve defended—and perhaps the narratives of the institutions around you.
