I'm like 98% certain I am further ahead than everyone doing this. And I am doing this as a hobby on my free time as a dad with two under two

all of the compute and sensors are local and part of the unit. this hardware prototype will work with any drone at all, and it is plug and play. I've solved the problem in the general case
3
just as a fun little hobby. depending on how well my kids nap today i might be able to squeeze out an autonomous flight tomorrow at 5 am
4
just a hobby. the product i'm building will be like a hand grenade. you pull a pin, and throw it, and it catches itself mid fall and then starts searching for humans. it finds the people in a building and starts blaring noise. this is just for hobby purposes
5
ideally i end up making something real here and donating to fire fighters or something
6
like people who do a lot of search and rescue. like people who are trying to find people in buildings that are hard to access
7
or like are hidden in areas that are hard to reach. that you want to find
8
like if i'm successful, i'll have made a product entirely in my basement that can find any single human being in a scalable manner, so really, just a thing you can throw money at indefinitely. just like, scale it out. like all humans in 4km^2 of forest. just send thousands
9
just a fun little hobby of mine. as a joke. i'm doing this as a bit its just a bit. i'm actually not way beyond sota. no sir i'm not this is just a fun little hobby of mine. dont take me seriously

@zackslab this drone is actually just a "hardest case". you can see that a lot of the thrust will be lost by worse aerodynamics probably. its also pushing the weight to the minimum so i can move to aggressive things like backflips in real to stress test how good my AI training pipeline is

@zackslab check DMs for more details on how it works :^)
