10 things that changed my life at 35:

1. No one is coming to save you
2
Not your boss. Not the government. Not a rich relative.

The moment I accepted this, I stopped waiting for permission and started building.

Your success is 100% your responsibility.
3
2. Having urgency (but not desperation)

Give yourself 18 months to change your life.

Not "someday." Not "when I'm ready."

A real deadline.

Because thinking you have forever is why you'll never start.
4
3. Time-blocking like your life depends on it

Working 12-hour nights, I had 4 days off:

• Day 1: Recover
• Days 2-3: Deep work on my business
• Day 4: Prep for work

Those two days changed everything.

You don't need more time. You need better systems.
5
4. Systems beat passion every time

"Follow your passion" is terrible advice.

Follow the money first. Build systems that work. Then use the freedom to pursue passion.

I'm passionate about my family, not every project.

The money gives me both.
6
5. Boring businesses print money

Everyone wants the sexy startup. The next unicorn. The viral app.

Meanwhile, "boring" businesses in health, finance, and education quietly generate millions.

Boring is beautiful when the checks clear.
7
6. Quality is your only moat

When I started in 2014, you could succeed with mediocre work.

Now? AI and global competition changed everything.

Your only advantage: Delivering so much value that people can't ignore you.

Excellence is the minimum.
8
7. Think in assets, not income

Income = trading time for money Assets = money while you sleep

Every business should build something sellable.

I sold one small piece of my business for $71,000.

Build to own. Or build to sell. But always build assets.
9
8. Proximity is everything

You become the average of your environment.

I was surrounded by people with "good enough" mindsets. So I changed my circle.

Join masterminds. Invest in coaching. Cut the energy vampires.

Your network determines your net worth.
10
9. Small wins compound into empires

My first win was $10/day in passive income.

Most people would quit.

I celebrated and kept going.

$10 became $100. $100 became $1,000. $1,000 became $10,000.

Success is small wins, repeated daily.
11
10. Having kids forces you to level up

Before kids: Unlimited time to procrastinate.

After kids: Every minute matters.

My daughters didn't slow me down. They gave me rocket fuel.

Nothing creates focus like people depending on you.

The truth about 35?

It's not too late. Hell, 45 isn't too late. Even 70 isn't too late.

But you have to start NOW.
