Ted Cruz was a dominant debater at Princeton & Harvard, winning many national awards. He was editor of the prestigious Harvard Law Review. This is not a dumb man, in fact he’s among the best they’ve got. The fact that even he’s running w/Speak n Spell “mushroom cloud over New York” nonsense to justify US action against Iran tells you that they’ve got no actual argument to make. If they did, he’d have made it.

Tucker manhandled him for the same reason @scotthortonshow and @ComicDaveSmith torch everyone they go against. The secret to success is simple: take the side that’s is obviously right, and avoid taking the side that’s indefensible except w/threats and moral blackmail. Easy.
