Taehyung burst through the door to Jungkook's office. "Why the hell did you agree to this marriage?"

Jungkook sat nonchalantly on the couch. "I don't mind marriage. Even if it's arranged, and especially to a pretty one like you."

Taehyung scoffed. "I'm not gay."

Jungkook snorted, completely unfazed. He tilted his head and gestured lazily. "Come here."

Taehyung stiffened, his irritation flaring. "I don't want to."

Jungkook's smile remained, a knowing glint in his eyes. "Just come here."

Taehyung exhaled sharply, rolling his eyes.
4
But with a reluctant sigh, he stepped closer. “What do you wan—”

The moment he was within reach, strong hands gripped his arms, and in one swift motion, he was yanked down—his breath fluttering as he found himself seated on Jungkook's lap.

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?"
5
Taehyung's eyes widened in shock. "What the fuck are you—"

"Do you have any plans? For Valentine's?" Jungkook interrupted, his voice unexpectedly soft.

Taehyung let out a sharp scoff, still trying to process the sudden shift in conversation. "Where's this coming from now?"
6
Jungkook's faint smile didn't waver. "Just answer the question, Taehyung."

Taehyung frowned, his brows knitting together. "No."

Jungkook's gaze flickered with something unreadable. "So, you're not dating anyone?"

"No," Taehyung replied.
7
Jungkook exhaled lightly, then, without warning, cupped Taehyung's face between his hands. "Will you be my valentine then?"

Taehyung's breath caught in his throat. His face flushed instantly, heat creeping up his neck. "W-What? No!" He struggled,
8
attempting to pull away, but Jungkook's grip only tightened.

Jungkook's laughter echoed through the office. "Why not? I'm single, you're single—what's stopping us, baby?"

"Don't call me that!" Taehyung snapped, his glare sharp.
9
"And I just told you, I'm not fucking gay! And I'm certainly not into you."

Jungkook leaned in slightly, his grin never fading. "I can tell when someone's lying, angel." His voice was filled with amusement. "And do you have any idea how many people turned gay for me?
10
I'm undeniably attractive—don't lie to yourself."

Taehyung let out an exaggerated scoff, rolling his eyes so hard it almost hurt. "You're anything but attractive, you..." He faltered, scrambling for an insult. "You're s-so ugly."
11
Jungkook's brows shot up. "Ugly?!" A breathy chuckle left his lips, sheer disbelief painted across his face. "I've never been called ugly. Not even by my rivals."

Before Taehyung could come up with a retort, Jungkook reached forward,
12
grabbing him by the waist and tugging him closer.

The sudden proximity made Taehyung freeze, his pulse stuttering as Jungkook's fingers brushed a few stray strands from his eyes.

"Listen," Jungkook murmured, his voice dropping just enough
13
to send a shiver through Taehyung's body. "How about we test it?"

Taehyung's cheeks flamed at the implication. "T-Test what?" he stammered, hating the way his voice betrayed him.

"If you like me or not." Jungkook smirked, tilting his head slightly.
14
Taehyung smacked Jungkook's chest, his frustration boiling over. "Hell no!" He struggled against Jungkook's grip again, but he was annoyingly strong.

Jungkook barely budged, only tightening his hold. "We're going to get married anyway. Why are you being so stubborn?"
15
Taehyung shot him a sharp glare, his cheeks warming up. "I'm not getting married to you!" he snapped, then blurted out, "I... I'm going to marry your sister."

Jungkook let out a slow sigh. "My sister is already in a relationship," he said flatly.
16
"Are you a homewrecker, Taehyung?"

Taehyung's eyes widened. "What the fuck—no!" he shot back. "Fine! I'll marry your other sister, then."

Jungkook chuckled. He reached out, lightly booping Taehyung's nose.
17
"Hate to break it to you, baby, but I only have one sister. And she's already taken."

Taehyung's mouth opened, then shut, his irritation flaring at the realization.

Before he could come up with another excuse, Jungkook smirked.
18
"Would you rather marry my older brother instead? Though, he's in a secret relationship... sorry, that was tmi."

Taehyung's annoyance was written all over his face. "I am not gay."

"Surely," Jungkook murmured in amusement.

Taehyung's eyes narrowed. "You don't believe me?"
19
Jungkook licked his lips. "Let's test it with a kiss."

Taehyung scoffed. "I will never kiss you."

Jungkook only grinned. "Figured." He leaned in just a fraction. "How about I kiss you then?"

Taehyung's breath hitched.
20
He quickly looked away, his heart stammering against his ribs. "No..."

Before he could say anything else, Jungkook moved.

In an instant, Taehyung found himself flipped over, his back hitting the couch as Jungkook hovered above him.
21
"You won't be my valentine?" Jungkook asked, his voice low.

Taehyung's eyes widened in sheer disbelief. "What the fuck are you—get off me!" He thrashed, but Jungkook's hold was firm.

"Don't lie to yourself, baby." Jungkook's voice was barely above a whisper,
22
his breath ghosting over Taehyung's lips. "I know you like this."

"I d-don't! Fuck you!" Taehyung snapped, the heat spreading further across his face.

Jungkook chuckled, leaning in even closer. "Well," he murmured, biting his own lip teasingly, "I might let you."
23
His voice dipped lower. "I've never bottomed for anyone before... but I might break all my rules for you, baby."

Taehyung's breath caught.

His mind went blank, his body frozen beneath Jungkook's firm gaze.

He couldn't think, couldn't speak—
24
hell, he wasn't even sure he was breathing at this point.

"Come on, angel," Jungkook coaxed, his expression softening. "Just one kiss, hm?"

Taehyung swallowed hard, struggling to hold onto his composure. "Why are you so obsessed with kissing me?"
25
he muttered, desperately trying not to crumble under Jungkook's hold.

Jungkook hummed, his fingers brushing against Taehyung's jaw. "Baby, it's just our lips touching," he whispered, his voice sending a wave of warmth straight to Taehyung's chest. "It won't do us any harm."
26
Taehyung clenched his jaw, determined not to give in—but the slightest curl at the corner of his lips betrayed him.

Jungkook noticed. Of course he did.

Taehyung looked up helplessly, their eyes locking, his breath coming out uneven.
27
He hesitated, teeth sinking into his lower lip, visibly swallowing as his resolve wavered.

Taehyung froze for what felt like an eternity.

His heart pounded against his ribs.

And then, after an internal battle, he gave the smallest nod.

Jungkook's smirk grew wider.
28
He leaned in slowly, teasingly, letting his lips brush against Taehyung's before finally pressing them together.

Taehyung's heart jumped.

Heat crawled up his neck, spreading to his ears, then lower—igniting something dangerous, something he refused to name.
29
Jungkook pulled back just enough to make Taehyung chase his warmth before diving in again, this time kissing him deeper, firmer.

Taehyung cursed himself—hated himself, for the way he instinctively responded.
30
His body reacted, leaning into Jungkook's touch, his lips parting against his will.

And then he felt it—Jungkook's hand slipping beneath his shirt, fingers ghosting over his stomach in slow, deliberate strokes.
31
The heat seared through him, pooling in places he definitely wasn't about to admit.

Panic struck him almost immediately.

Taehyung jerked back so fast he nearly knocked Jungkook's chin. "S-Stop, I—uh..." he stammered, words fumbling over each other.
32
Jungkook's amused gaze flickered downward for a split second, and Taehyung swore he was going to combust.

"I need to go—uh… somewhere," he blurted out, forcing a nervous chuckle. His hands scrambled against Jungkook's chest, pushing him off as soon as the grip loosened.
33
"It's... it's urgent." Taehyung shot up abruptly, rushing for the door without a single glance back.

His pulse pounded in his ears, his only focus on escaping before Jungkook could notice the slight—humiliating—bulge pressing against his pants.
34
Unbeknownst to him, Jungkook had already felt it.

A low chuckle escaped Jungkook's lips as he leaned back into his seat, his smirk lingering. "Such a bad liar," he murmured to himself.

His eyes crinkled with pure adoration.
35
Taehyung could deny it all he wanted, could throw every excuse in the book, but Jungkook knew that no amount of running would change the inevitable.

Taehyung was his.

And he wasn't going to stop until Taehyung finally admitted it.
36
Jungkook's fingers drummed against the armrest as his mind wandered back to the moment his father had first brought up marriage.

He had been the happiest man alive.
37
Because what his father didn't know—what no one knew—was that Jungkook had already fallen for Taehyung years ago.
38

39
Taehyung's breath hitched the moment his eyes landed on Jungkook.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚?

It was the night before Valentine's Day—he was supposed to be enjoying a carefree night out with his friends.
40
Yet, the sight of Jungkook standing amidst the crowd sent his heartbeat into a frantic rhythm.

He tore his gaze away, forcing himself to brush off the unwelcome rush of emotions.

"What's going on with you?" Hyungsik's voice cut through the thumping bass,
41
barely audible over the music.

Taehyung stiffened. "Nothing," he said quickly, shrugging.

Hyungsik scoffed, scanning the club. "What, did you just see your ex or something?"

"No," Taehyung chuckled, though it was strained. "Stop looking around. No one's—"
42
His words faltered as his gaze snapped back to Jungkook.

A man was getting way too close to him—close enough that there was barely any space between them.

Taehyung's frown deepened and his chest constricted unwillingly.

Had Jungkook already found someone else?
43
He couldn't stop staring, unable to tear his eyes away.

"Ugh, whatever," Taehyung muttered under his breath, not realizing he'd spoken aloud.

Hyungsik leaned in. "What happened?"

"Nothing, hyung." Taehyung quickly replied, but his eyes remained glued to Jungkook.
44
Wooshik, sensing the tension, followed Taehyung's gaze. "Woah, hold up. Don't tell me you have a crush on Jeon Jungkook?"

Taehyung's eyes snapped wide open.

His heart skipped a beat as he whipped around to face Wooshik. "What?"
45
he stammered, a flush creeping up his ears. "No! Of course not!"

Wooshik burst into giggles. "Here comes the lies."

Taehyung let out a heavy sigh, his frustration growing further.

He knew there was no escaping this.

His friends weren't going to let him off the hook.
46
They were going to find out sooner or later, so he might as well give in.

He took a deep breath, his chest tightening. "Actually, We..." He hesitated for a moment, his words feeling heavier than usual. "We're arranged to marry each other."
47
Wooshik's eyes gleamed with amusement. "I knew it."

Hyungsik's jaw dropped. "Oh my god, did you agree?"

Taehyung swallowed hard, shaking his head.

"Why the hell not?" Hyungsik questioned, his voice rising above the pulsing music and beats of the club.
48
"I'm not... interested," Taehyung said, trying to mask the hesitation in his voice, hoping the noise around them would cover it up.

"Another lie," Wooshik teased, a grin tugging at his lips.
49
"I'm not gay, hyung," Taehyung insisted, his gaze flickering towards Jungkook again.

Wooshik's brow furrowed slightly. "You're bisexual, Tae," he reminded.

"That's just different, okay?" Taehyung muttered, his heart squeezing at the sight of the other man leaning closer to
50
Jungkook's ear, their proximity too intimate.

He quickly looked away, swallowing the tightness in his throat. "He probably found someone else to marry. Look at them." He pouted, staring down at his feet. "Already being so lovey dovey."
51
Hyungsik's voice softened. "Taehyung, you're in denial. Jungkook is literally your type. What's stopping you? And that guy? He's probably just hitting on him."

Taehyung's chest tightened further.

He didn't meet their eyes.
52
Instead, he stared at the floor, the words catching in his throat.

Wooshik nudged Hyungsik, silently urging him to understand.

Hyungsik's expression shifted, and the realization hit him.

He paused, choosing his words carefully. "You're afraid… of getting hurt again.”
53
Taehyung bit his lower lip, his gaze moving towards Hyungsik. Hesitation was written all over his face.

Hyungsik sighed softly. "Taehyung, that was years ago. Don't assume that everyone you meet will be like him."
54
Taehyung's lashes fluttered, but the weight in his chest didn't lift. His eyes drifted back to Jungkook and the man beside him.

"All of them are the same, hyung," Taehyung murmured, the heaviness still pressing down on him. "It's just lust. He'll marry me, and then what?"
55
He turned to face Hyungsik. "He'll get tired of me. I'll be the one holding on, while he moves on with his life. I won't be able to let go."
56
A bitter smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "I've seen this film before. I'm not going to make the same mistake. I won't let myself get hurt again."

He glanced at Jungkook one last time before looking away, the ache still lingering in his chest.
57
Wooshik took a deep breath. "Tae, listen to me," he began. "That was a one night stand back in college. He made everything clear—he wanted nothing more than a friends with benefits situation, and you know that was a mistake."
58
He paused, choosing his words cautiously. "A person who only cares about their own sexual desires won't ask you to marry them, Tae."

Wooshik's eyes softened with understanding. "I get it. You get attached easily, I know. But this is different."
59
He glanced at Taehyung, his tone shifting to something more serious. "Jungkook literally wants to put a damn ring on your finger."

Taehyung shook his head, anxiety slipping into his voice.
60
"Yes, because his father told him to, and he's bored. He looks like a child just searching for something to play with."

Wooshik's frown deepened. "Did he say that to you?"

Taehyung looked at him briefly. "No, but I can tell. He doesn't really like me."
61
Hyungsik cleared his throat. "Are you sure? Because it looks like he's getting closer."

Taehyung furrowed his brows, confused. "What?"

His breath got stuck in his throat when he suddenly felt an arm wrap around his waist, pulling him closer.
62
His heart raced as he looked up to see Jungkook's face just inches from his own.

"Why didn't you tell me you were here?" Jungkook asked softly, his smile wide and warm.

Taehyung's chest tightened, his words coming out in a quiet murmur.
63
"I—uh... I didn't know you were here," he lied, avoiding Jungkook's gaze.

Jungkook's eyes flicked to Hyungsik and Wooshik, a playful grin forming. "Did you guys convince him?" He asked, his hand still resting casually around Taehyung's waist.
64
"Convince him?" Wooshik asked, puzzled.

"He won't let me marry him," Jungkook chuckled. "Your friend is so cruel. He won't even be my valentine."

"Didn't you just get a date?" Taehyung asked, half-wondering if Jungkook had heard him at all.

But he was proven wrong.
65
Jungkook pulled Taehyung in even closer, his gaze narrowing slightly. "Who?" he frowned. "Oh, you mean Eunwoo? But I thought you didn't know I was here. Were you watching me, angel?"

Taehyung's eyes widened in disbelief.
66
Before he could respond, Wooshik began, raising an eyebrow at Hyungsik.

"We're out," Wooshik said and Hyungsik immediately caught on.

He looked at Taehyung, hoping he'd understand the hint before they walked away, giving the two of them some much needed privacy.
67
"I wasn't watching you!" Taehyung blurted, his face flushed with embarrassment. "I just—"

"Are you jealous, baby?" Jungkook interrupted, the word 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮 sinking straight into Taehyung's chest.

Taehyung's breath fluttered as he tried to hide his growing unease.
68
He swallowed hard, eyes darting away. "I'm not jealous. I don't care. Go find yourself a boyfriend—or a husband, I really don't give a shit. Ask them to be your valentine. I'm sure anyone would love to go out with you."

"Anyone except you?" Jungkook's eyes never left Taehyung,
69
his teasing smile slowly fading into something more serious.

Taehyung met his gaze, his heart pounding as the intensity of their eye contact made his pulse quicken.

"You don't want me, Jungkook." Taehyung's voice wavered, though he tried to sound steady,
70
hiding the vulnerability. "You just want a quick fuck. Please... don't do this to me."

Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise. His frown deepened, and the smile vanished completely. "What did you just say?"
71
Taehyung couldn't meet his gaze, his eyes shimmering as they reflected the club's lights. "Tell me, Jungkook. How long would it take you to toss me aside like I'm nothing after we get married?"

Jungkook's expression morphed into one of disbelief. "Where's this coming from?"
72
He shook his head, still processing the words. "Have I ever implied that you're... nothing but a...?" His voice faltered as his heart raced. He took a breath, trying to steady himself. "Do you think I'm playing here, Taehyung?"
73
Taehyung looked away again, unable to bear the intensity in Jungkook's eyes.

He knew if he stayed locked in that gaze any longer, his emotions would get the best of him.

"No, no, look at me." Jungkook gently cupped Taehyung's face, turning his gaze back towards him.
74
"I don't want you to think I'm just some playboy who's using you as nothing more than a sex toy. That was never, and will never be, my intention, Taehyung."

He took Taehyung's hand. "We need to talk. Let's go outside."
75
Without waiting for a response, Jungkook led Taehyung through the crowd, who didn't protest, pulling him outside where silence wrapped around them, with no one and nothing to intervene.

Once they reached a secluded corner, Jungkook exhaled heavily, his voice softer.
76
"Could you please explain everything to me?"

Taehyung sighed, avoiding Jungkook's gaze, shrugging. "There's nothing to explain, Jungkook."

"No," Jungkook pressed, stepping closer, his expression growing serious.
77
"You've built up this... idea of me, and I don't even know where it came from. When did I ever say I wanted a quick fuck?"

Taehyung hesitated, lifting his eyes to meet Jungkook's, his voice quieter now. "Why would you marry me out of nowhere, Jungkook?"
78
Jungkook scoffed, looking away for a moment, a flicker of hurt flashing across his face. "Taehyung, my father did ask me to marry you, but... that's just a coincidence."

Taehyung frowned. "What?"

Jungkook took a slow step forward, softly cupping Taehyung's face in his hands.
79
"I... I've had feelings for you, Tae." He hurriedly added, panic settling in. "I know this is so sudden and might be overwhelming to you, but... please, just hear me out."

Taehyung's heart raced, but he remained silent, unsure of what to say.
80
Jungkook, nervous but determined, continued. "You have no idea how happy I was when my father mentioned your name. I swear, I almost jumped out of my seat in excitement, because I've liked you since... well, since the first time I saw you."
81
He looked away for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "I first saw you in college. The moment you walked into that classroom, Taehyung, I shivered. I couldn't look away." Jungkook's heart pounded, the admission feeling like a weight lifting off him.
82
"I've had my eyes on you ever since, but you never looked my way."

He hesitated, his expression vulnerable. "I never asked you out because..." He paused, struggling to find the right words. "I was scared."
83
Jungkook's gaze never left Taehyung. "Scared of rejection, scared of getting hurt, scared of never being enough for you."

He took a deep breath, his voice breaking slightly. "For the longest time, you seemed out of my league. I truly believed that."
84
He paused momentarily. "And, believe it or not, Taehyung... I've never asked anyone out. I just couldn't."

Tears threatened to spill, but Jungkook fought them back, blinking rapidly to keep his composure.
85
"I couldn't picture myself with anyone else. I never developed feelings for anyone except you. Hell, I tried—tried to get close to others, but it never felt right. In my heart, there's only been one person, and that person is you."
86
A bitter chuckle escaped him, his lips trembling. "People still make fun of me that I'm about to hit my thirties and I've never been in a serious relationship." He smiled softly, though the tears now shimmered in his eyes.
87
"But all these feelings, all this love inside me... it all belongs to you. It's always been reserved for you, Taehyung. Only you."

His smile faltered. "I couldn't give my heart to anyone else. And yes, I've lost hope before, but my heart always found its way back to you."
88
Jungkook's lips wobbled, unable to hold back the tears any longer. "And now, when I finally feel like I'm good enough for you... you push me away."

"Don't get me wrong, Tae. You're not obligated to feel the same way. But I... I just can't keep this inside anymore."
89
"My feelings for you have been buried for so long, sometimes it feels like they're choking me. I had to let it all out. I had to let you know.”

He shook his head, a weak smile tugging at his lips.
90
"I can't love anyone else, Tae. Even if you walk away, I'll keep loving you. I know it's going to hurt me, but I can't picture myself with anyone who isn't you."

Taehyung's tears began to fall, his emotions overwhelming him.
91
"No, no, baby, please don't cry," Jungkook whispered, panic in his voice as he held Taehyung's face, gently wiping the tears away.

"Why the hell are you apologizing?" Taehyung's voice trembled, his words breaking through his tears.
92
"Why didn't you tell me sooner, Jungkook? God, I've been settling for the wrong person all this time..."

Jungkook's brow furrowed. "What do you mean?"

Taehyung's gaze dropped. "If I'd known... if I'd known how you felt, I wouldn't have wasted a single moment.”
93
“I've been holding on to feelings for someone else... for months. I thought he cared about me, but he was just a self centered asshole."

Jungkook's expression darkened, a wave of anger rising from the deepest part of his soul.
94
Taehyung's voice wavered, his tears continuing to fall. "He hurt me, Jungkook. And after that, I couldn't let myself get close to anyone. I was terrified... terrified of being used again, of getting hurt..."

He paused, swallowing the lump in his throat.
95
"I get attached so easily. It's embarrassing, but I can't help it." His gaze fell. "And I thought you..."

Jungkook cut him off. "You thought I was going to do the same thing to you? Use you?" He shook his head, guiding his gaze back to his.
96
"The day I hurt you, will be the day I end myself, Taehyung. I can't even imagine doing that to you. Not even for a second."

"I can't even throw a feather at you, angel." Jungkook's smile was soft, despite the pain in his heart.
97
"Maybe our first encounter wasn't perfect, maybe it made you misunderstand a lot of things... but believe me when I say this—my only intention is to love you, cherish you, and make you the happiest person alive."
98
He swallowed hard. "But as I said, you don't have to feel obligated to—"

"Let's do it." Taehyung interrupted, his glassy eyes meeting Jungkook's.

Jungkook froze, his lips trembling in disbelief. "W-What? Do what?"

Taehyung's smile bloomed, a few tears slipping from his eyes.
99
"Let's date. I want to get to know you, take things slow, if that's okay with you." He let out a soft, shy chuckle. "And I'm sure it won't take me long before I let you slip that ring onto my finger."

Jungkook was left stunned, as though struck by lightning. "What...?"
100
Taehyung chuckled again. "What do you mean, 'what'?"

"You—" Jungkook stammered as he struggled to process the words. "You're not playing with me right now, are you? This isn't a prank? You'll actually date me? For real?"
101
Taehyung let out a soft giggle. "Yes, Jungkook. For real." He leaned in, placing a sweet peck on Jungkook's cheek. "I just found myself a gentleman. I'm not about to let you slip away now."

He paused, his thoughts momentarily wandering. "And... tell that Eunwoo guy to fuck off."
102
Jungkook let out a short chuckle before bursting into laughter. "Oh my god," he said, pulling Taehyung closer and wrapping his arms around his waist. "Is this what it feels like to be in a relationship?"

Taehyung's smile widened, eyes sparkling.
103
"You'll have to handle a lot more than this. This is just the beginning."

Jungkook's voice softened. "I'll handle anything if it means I get to be with you for the rest of my life."

Taehyung playfully smacked his chest. "You're such a sap!" He laughed, his heart almost melting.
104
"Oh, wait, I almost forgot," Jungkook said, pulling out a stack of stickers in all shapes—red hearts, smiley faces, gift boxes, and more.

He held them up to Taehyung with a grin. "This is all I got for now. Some of my employees were handing these out at the company today."
105
Jungkook's eyes locked with Taehyung's, filled with a love so undeniable it made Taehyung's heart skip a beat. "Will you be my valentine? I promise I'll get you chocolates, tons of roses... hell, I'll even give you my heart—"
106
Before he could finish, Taehyung's lips met his in a soft kiss.

Jungkook's heart raced, almost as if it were trying to escape his chest.

"I'll be your everything, just take me out," Taehyung murmured as he pulled away, his own heart soaring.
107
Jungkook's smile grew as he placed a tiny red heart sticker on Taehyung's cheek, then gently took his hand. "You already are my everything."

Their fingers intertwined as they left the club, both wearing the softest, happiest smiles.
