The tech oligarchs are valuable, they bring funding and reach that is sorely needed on the right
Elon wants to got Mars, and America is at its best when it has a frontier to explore
But the tech bros are monomaniacal in the realest sense of the term, they have to be to achieve what they do
There will always be some level of immigration, any nation that completely shuts itself off from prodigies who wish to join them stagnates
What people want is accountability, a wise leader who is interested in the wellbeing of the nation not just finishing the next tech project or hitting the quarterly earnings goal
Someone who truly understands the needs and aspirations of Americans and consistently acts in their interests
So when they come to us and say “Hey we really need these guys they’ll help us long term and want to become more like us” we can believe them
And if they lied for their own interests, we know who to blame
People don’t want these decisions made by a nebulous collection of unaccountable business interests who are focused solely on their own success
The only solution is prudence and accountability
