I appreciate @BenjaminABoyce for helping me to understand something about this "woke right" nonsense

At first I believed that establishment liberals were simply using "woke" as a lazy smear, attaching right wing beliefs to something we all recognized as bad and betting on guilt by association to do the rest

Somehow lazy and desperate at the same time, but if you look at who is involved that's not surprising

But Benjamin pointed out that the real issue for liberals is not that the "woke right" is the same as the left, the issue is that the right started noticing power, and this is the one thing you CANNOT do in a liberal society

Liberalism seeks to obfuscate power by claiming to eliminate the political, and so it cannot tolerate anyone who recognizes that liberals are indeed using power even as they cry incessantly about neutrality

Yes, these guys are throwing around lazy slurs and using the guilt by associating arguments they claim to hate from the left, but more importantly, they are defending what's left of the crumbling liberal edifice by attacking anyone who might recognize their shell game
