Let me share with you something interesting if you got the times.
Some years ago, Dr. Parviz did an experiment. A great experiment.
He studied 738 women who had mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.
BRCA1 and BRCA2 are short for breast cancer gene 1 and breast cancer gene 2.
We inherit each one from our parents (you can for example inherit a BRCA 1 mutation from one parent but not have a BRCA2 mutation which is fine) and one of their purposes is to repair damaged DNA by producing certain proteins (so as you can tell, the health of your children begins with your own health).
Obviously not everyone with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation will get breast cancer.
No. Itâs a matter of increased risk which is were Dr. Parvizâs study comes into play.
So he took 738 women who had these mutations and hereâs what he did.
He changed their diets and other lifestyle factors which led to a 73% decrease! in cancer risk compared to the other women with the SAME mutations.
So, if you can take a person with the mutations that heavily increase the risk of cancer and you can drop their chances of encountering it by 73%!, imagine how powerful making healthy lifestyle changes actually are.
Now of course, you don't have to rely just on this study and there are more that provie this point.

But without further ado, letâs break them down certain things that are probably causing the modern health crisis.
Number 1: Sedentary lifestyles.
You might personally not struggle with this, but LESS than 25% of Americans walk for more than 10 minutes each week.
This is not a joke and a sedentary lifestyle will have tremendously negative consequences on our health.
A sedentary lifestyle, massively increases the risk of diabetes, all cancers and especially (colorectal, endometrial, ovarian, and prostate cancer), depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, Alzheimer's, weakens the immune system and in general is corelated and can cause most diseases since we are not meant to sit down all day.
It's unnatural and this is why our mind and body take a hit very fast when we live a sedentary life.
We are not meant to sit all day and when this happens all sorts of issues will appear.
Also, if your interest is just health and you donât want to be great at martial arts or be super jacked, you donât have to follow a super complicated training split.

But, we need to learn how to manage stress since if youâve experienced gut wrecking stress, you know that it deteriorates your health faster than anything.

-Breakage of the nuclear chromosomes
-Nutrient and mineral depletion (especially in selenium, zinc, magnesium and copper)
-Adrenal hyperactivity
-Inducing insulin resistance
-The elevation of certain estrogenic compounds such as aromatase
-The decrease of thyroid hormones

If someone else than you has defined success, you arenât playing the right game and hereâs why. No one knows you and cares about you more than yourself.
Weâre all different and the definition of success passed a basic point (being healthy, having good relationships etc) is different for all of us.

Donât be so obsessed with your misery to the point of missing the joy that you can either create or that already exists.

We are social creatures. Loneliness has actually become an epidemic.
Start chatting people at the gym, become a regular at certain places etc.

Highly processed foods are a big problem and are basically waste products that big corporations create for maximum profit.
When Dr. Price documented the effects of the depletion of certain nutrients such as the fat-soluble vitamins for example decades ago and proved how this leads to physical degeneration, the lack of nutrients wasn't NEARLY as bad as it is today.

Ultraviolet radiation has been blamed for a lot of trouble but is this true?
Well, first of all, UV radiation was one of the main drivers of evolution.
A good starting book on this topic is the origins of order.
Then, without UVB the synthesis of sulfated vitamin D can not be stimulated and this is a big deal since we can only cover maybe œ of our vitamin D needs from food (at the very very very very best).
This is not a small deal since as i like to say, it is impossible for a health issue to be resolved or decently improved if a person has suboptimal vitamin D levels.
It is impossible for us to have a healthy immune system, healthy bones, a healthy hormonal profile (testosterone and androgens in general, thyroid hormones, insulin, progesterone, leptin (to be fair though, since this (leptin) is related to adiponectin, this only happens when a person reaches >50ng/dl from what most research indicates) etc), a healthy liver, great levels of energy, great muscle recovery, great libido, healthy skin, healthy kidneys, a healthy gut, a healthy heart and in general be healthy without the help of vitamin D since it controls over 1000 genes through its receptor.
It is also impossible for example to solve any gut or skin issue if a person has low levels of vitamin D.
The easiest way to explain both (gut and skin related) is through the vitamin Dâcathelicidin pathway which is very fascinating.
You can obviously dial the research down more by looking into the caludin-2 and 12 relationship since regarding gut issues, IBD is an issue that a lot of people suffer with.
TLDR: Changes regarding claudin 2 are associated with many gut issues such as IBD for example.

In fact it is UVR is so crucial that when the eyes of mice (just the eyes) were exposed to UVB ithe serum levels of α-MSH, b-endorphin, ACTH, CRH, and urocortin 2 increased a few hours later.
But how about UVA?
It is very true that for the things mentioned (b-endorphins for example), UVB has a bigger impact, BUT, a âmedium doseâ of UVA1 (340-400â nm) has been shown to improve atopic dermatitis and scleroderma.
In general, UVA supports the release of nitric oxide which is partly why sunlight has cardiovascular benefits that are independent from vitamin D.
And vasodilation is not a small thing either.
Excessive vasoconstriction can lead to headaches, migraines, fatigue, eyesight issues and even exacerbate the healing of scars and even hair loss.
Number 2: Violet light (400â nm - 450â nm)
This is one is pretty interesting regarding myopia, NO homeostasasis and stimulating TLR it also affects antimicrobial peptides.
But it seems that just like blue light in isolation, it can also cause a bit of damage when used in isolation (compared to red light for example) but if i'm wrong please correct me on this.
Number 3: Blue light (450â nm - 490â nm).
This in isolation (nnEMF) is evil especially during the night as we will soon see.
But when it's present in the sunlight (EMF) is needed in order to regulate our CR.
Now here are some ways that artificial blue light ruins your health.
Number 1: ALAN ruins sleep and your CR
For millions of years, we lived under the influence of sources of light with a lux of 0.0001-3.4 at night.
But now?
You can live even under 500! This is 50.000 times MORE in some cases.
And poor sleep is not something to take lightly.
If we want to mentioned more rare downsides of ALAN at this point, a digestive issue a lot of people struggle with is acid reflux and guess what?
The gastric acid secretion follows a circadian pattern and also, the esophageal valve should be closed at night.
So your disrupted CR and chronic late eating could easily be one of the main causes for your acid reflux. So before getting that antacids, H2 or PPIs, fix your CR.
Number 2: Suppresses the most potent antioxidant (melatonin which is stimulated when light is not present) which affects anything from sleep, osteoblasts (your bones), skin and our immune system all the way to our metabolism and reproduction.

Number 7: nnEMFs
One of the many news obstacles that the pursuit of good health faces in the modern day and age is the abundance of nnEMFs in most environments.
As i like to say many times for example, if a compound came to the food market that altered ca2+ signaling for example as much as nnEMFs, its side effects would be talked on the news 24/7.
They are that bad.
There's also of course the side of the health space that blames all health issues in them but this is also incorrect in my opinion.
If it was true people wouldn't reverse diseases just through dietary changes alone.
So nnEMFs are very harmful as we will see, but this shouldn't lead to us neglecting other important things such as diet, sleep, exercising and so on.
But let's back up a bit.
What's even a nnEMF?
It simply is an EMF produced by a non native source.
Think cell towers, electronic devices such as Wi-Fi routers, smartphones, computers, wireless Bluetooth devices and things of that sort. Even artificial blue light.
Now since i understand that some people will be skeptical about this topic, allow me to mention the following?
Has biochemistry taught us that humans run on electrons and our cells need to maintain a negative charge?
Yes. So nnEMFs are problematic by default based on this principle because they âstealâ electrons and thus reducing the number of free electrons available.
We get electrons from things such as the sun, the earth, movement, food and just like your smartphone we need to recharge with electrons on a regular basis in order to operate at our best.
nnEMFs:
-Negatively affect our metabolic health.
