Midoriya Izuku was kidnapped at the young age of 14 years old. 7 years had passed and Izuku had given up hope of ever being rescued. He had even forgotten he was held against his will.
Izuku gave up trying to figure out why himself. Why him? Tomura had to be gravely mistaken in his reasoning!
According to him, it was all to get back at Kacchan.
Still, it was nothing like Shigaraki thought it was!
Tomura and Kacchan hated each other. Kacchan easily made enemies but their bad blood was something else!
It was… terrible. Izuku was a virgin before he was kidnapped. Now there was a tally carved on his arms and legs every time Tomura took him against his will.
All as some sort of misplaced revenge.
And then one day… the kindness stopped in a cruel way. And Izuku was once again reminded of the awful isolating reality of his situation.
“Who’s this one?”
“Not sure, Aizawa-San. This one doesn’t speak. He seems scared, and judging by the marks on his body, he could be a victim of something… Maybe trafficking?”
He didn’t want to face it.
He didn’t want to talk to anyone about it.
He saw tears fall on his hands and gasped. He hadn’t cried in years. Thought he forgot how to.
He cowered as he heard the chair pull out and the sigh of the male voice across from him.
“You’re obviously not involved in his crimes.”
Izuku shook his head before slowly raising it. He would be of no use. He was locked in a room most of the time. As soon as his eyes met the officer’s, the
“De- Midoriya Izuku?” He blinked.
Izuku gasped the sound of his name. How did he know him? Did his mom try really hard to find him?
The officer suddenly stood up and put his hand over his face. “I’ll be back.”
“Release that kid now and get him to a hospital!” He demanded.
“But officer-”
“DO IT!” Aizawa stormed to the rooftop of the police station where he had privacy then he pulled out his phone.
“What?!”
“I’m telling you this as a favor.” Aizawa whispered harshly. “You will want to get yourself to Shizawa medical center immediately.”
“I’m with a client, what is this-”
“MIDORIYA WILL BE THERE IN 30 MINUTES”
Aizawa knew he did the right thing. Afterall, Bakugo Katsuki had been looking for Midoriya Izuku for years. Everyone thought he was dead. Even his own mother who Bakugo moved in with to take care of, confessed-
But he never did. He still kept looking. How unfortunate that she died 3 months before they found him.
“Are you okay, Bakugo-San?” His client questioned as a stray tear fell down the lawyer’s face.
“Yeah…. I finally am….”
“How old are you?”
“Did you make these marks yourself?”
“Do you have anyone you need us to call?”
“Can you understand us?”
Izuku guessed at some point, they figured out who he was because they started addressing him by name.
“Midoriya-kun, here’s some water. You’ve had a long day.”
The exam was overwhelming and humiliating as they picked and prodded his body and discussed all the visible traumas he had been through.
“He seems to be a friend of yours. Is it okay if I let him in to see you? If you aren’t ready, I understand.”
Izuku wondered what going home would be like after all this time. Is the reason a friend came to get him was because his mom was cooking?
A friend… who?
“DEKU?!”
Izuku’s jaw dropped as Kacchan burst through the door
“Ka-” Izuku’s voice cracked as tears fell from his face. “Kacchan?!”
“I knew it!” Katsuki sobbed before running to him and throwing his arms around him?! “I knew you were alive!”
Izuku gasped before looking up at his tear stained face. He never imagined Kacchan to care this much about him.
“Why..?” Izuku croaked out, not used to using his voice. “I thought you hated me…”
Tomura was right.
But he was right… if Kacchan found out what each tally engraved in his skin meant… if he found out everything Tomura did to him…
His heart pounded in his chest as he broke down at the realization.
“I’M SORRY!” Izuku sobbed into his chest. “I’m so sorry!!!”

To Katsuki’s surprise, Izuku didn’t cry at the news. He didn’t talk much at all but Katsuki could tell he was listening intently to everything he said.
Right… he had been kept who knows where all these years! Katsuki always hated that Shigaraki bastard, but he never suspected him to be this evil! To hold Izuku captive?! Why?!
All they could advise was that Izuku needed lots of rest and trauma counseling.
Katsuki had been preparing for this day for years. He knew what he had to do. He was glad he moved in with Auntie.
“Hey!” Katsuki knelt beside him.
“Mom’s… really gone?” Izuku finally reacted to the news.
“I’m sorry…” Was all Katsuki could say. “I put her ashes in your room if you-”
Katsuki could see all the emotions that flashed across his face. Like he was remembering a litany of things he had long since forgotten.
“My journal… it’s open to the same page…”
“Kacchan… can I be alone with mom? Is that… is that okay?” He asked genuinely, like he needed permission in his own room.
“I’ll be in what used to be the guest room if you need me.”
Izuku was finally home… but actually saving him was going to be tough.
It was going to be a long journey but he swore he would do whatever it takes until Izuku could smile again.

“You think you have a right to make any demands of us?!” Aizawa seethed on the other side of the interrogation room.
“I’m telling you, officer…” Tomura cracked his knuckles. “I know a lot of names you’ll be very interested in that have been involved in awful stuff!”
“Right…” Izuku breathed uneasily.
“Been that long, huh?” His captors turned loved chuckled fondly before grabbing the petal and gently placing it behind his ear.
“What do you think we’re doing?! Look alive!” He splashed him and Izuku shrieked.
“I love you too…” Izuku said before suddenly he was pushed overboard.
Wait! This isn’t what happened! This isn’t…
Izuku’s eyes widened as he saw the sakura petals above him turn red and the entire lake fill with blood.
Were his sins too great?!
“Izuku!” Kacchan suddenly dove into the water and pulled him out and then Izuku woke up.
He gasped for air as he looked around his childhood bedroom. Safe and sound…
“Kacchan….” Izuku looked at him and was still in disbelief he was living in his home. That he had kept it the same for him all these years. That he took care of his mom…
“Why?” Izuku questioned as tears fell down his face. “Why are you still here? Why did you keep looking for me?”
“Cause you wouldn’t have given up looking for me.” Katsuki chuffed. “Right?”
Izuku slowly laid his head back down, unsure what to say to him. “I’m tired…”
“You know where to find me.” Katsuki began to leave the room.
“Wait!” Izuku reached for him before pulling his hand back.
Kindness… But was it true kindness? Or would it be ripped away from him too? What did Kacchan want from him?
“Um… thank you… I never said it.” Izuku voiced.
“You don’t have to thank me for anything. You saved my life, remember?!” He pointed to himself. “Do ya need me to stay till you fall back asleep?”
“Alright then…” Katsuki put his hand in curls and pat his head in such a gentle and comforting way, Izuku didn’t know how to feel.
He shouldn’t accept this. He betrayed him. He betrayed his mom too…
And Izuku for the first time in years, didn’t dream of anything.
-

-
“Are you sure he’s alright?!” Katsuki frantically questioned his friend,
“His vitals are okay. He’ll need food and water when he wakes up. But this is common for patients rescued from unsafe situations.”
Izuku hadn’t woken up for a day and a half.
“You should get some rest too.” Shoto pointed out the bags under his eyes. “Standing over him, watching him sleep isn’t going to wake him up any faster.”
“Shut it!”
Shoto sighed with a smile on his face. “I’m glad everything worked out. Everyone in our class thought you were crazy for looking for him in your spare time. I’m glad it didn’t turn out to be a waste of your youth…”
Izuku slowly blinked his eyes open at his outburst before gasping at the presence of someone else in the room. “Ah!” He quickly covered himself with his blanket.
“Half and Half?” Izuku slowly peaked out of the covers.
“It’s Todoroki Shoto. And I’m a studying a doctor.” Shoto introduced himself.
“I’m sorry. I know you’ve been through a lot. Bakugo has my business card if you need anything.” Shoto bowed before stepping out.
“I didn’t introduce myself… how rude of me…” Izuku realized.
“Can I watch you cook?” Izuku questioned.
“Huh?”
“I mean… am I allowed to walk around for a little bit? I-is that okay?”
Izuku bowed his head as he tried to understand a life where he didn’t have to ask, barter, or beg for basic things such as leaving his room…
“She really didn’t change anything?” Izuku questioned. “And you didn’t when she was gone?”
“It’s not my place to change.” Katsuki shrugged. “And she wanted you to come home to, well… home. Ya know?”
“Like what?!”
Izuku looked at Kacchan as if it was obvious.
“I know you’re still a damn nerd!”
Izuku’s eyes widened at the nickname he hadn’t hear in so long.
That he wanted to be back by his side?!
What was he thinking?!
“I’m sorry… You’ve been so kind… I shouldn’t have-”
Izuku didn’t understand what he wanted. Not one bit. But… he didn’t want him to go away either.

“We are not giving that criminal what he wants!” Aizawa argued with the police chief.
“He was kidnapped in middle school!” Aizawa reminded him. “He could barely stand the sound of a door opening!”
“At least give Midoriya Izuku a week of peace!” Aizawa insisted. “He’s finally home. Let him live without Shigaraki’s influence.”
“Anyone who is going to do that would have left by now!” Aizawa argued. “I’ll get you Bakugo in a week. Just leave that kid alone!”
-
-
“Ya ready for this?” Katsuki smirked as he lifted up a brand new laptop and presented it to Izuku. “Anything you missed in seven years, all at your fingertips!”
Izuku went onto google and immediately typed in ‘All Might Adventures Season 5’
“See?” Katsuki grinned as he glanced at the computer. “Still a damn nerd.”
“I can’t believe it! ALL MIGHT JUST LETS HIM DIE?! HE WOULD NEVER!”
“Why don’t we take a break here, and eat, huh?”
“BUT KACCHAN-”
“We’ve been watching since last night, Izuku! The sun is up! Time to eat!” Kacchan yawned.
“You can put on the next episode while I cook, come on!”
“I’m pretty best so… eggs over rice?” Katsuki questioned.
“That works for me!” Izuku agreed as he was about to put on the next episode when he noticed Kacchan’s phone ringing in his pocket.
“No.” Katsuki sighed. “It’s either some client or someone not important, and I already told everyone I’m staying home this week!”
“Right…. You have a job…” Izuku said in fascination. He forgot he was all grown up. “What do you do?”
“I-is that okay?” Izuku questioned seriously and Katsuki realized there was a lot the nerd had to unlearn because of that… monster!
“How many times do I have to tell you, you can do what ya want! You don’t have to ask me!”
“Ya don’t have to explain yourself.” Katsuki sighed and smiled that fond smile Izuku wasn’t used to. “All Might’s bringing you back one episode at a time!”
“I’m a lawyer.” Katsuki shrugged. “Like All Might but in court! I put the bad guys in jail and I haven’t lost a case yet!” He pointed to himself.
“I’m glad you remembered.” Katsuki chuffed. “And you still can!”
“I already got that prepared for you when you’re ready for it! Don’t worry.” Katsuki smirked at him. “Anything you wanna do! I’ll help!”
“Then push play, you damn nerd!” Katsuki ruffled his hair and they had a nice breakfast and Izuku fell asleep soon after.
Katsuki watched him snooze away when his rang again…
‘We need to talk about Shigaraki.”
Rage filled Katsuki’s chest at the sight of his name. He couldn’t believe it! All this time, that scum bag had Izuku! Katsuki always knew something was wrong with him!
But he ignored that when he first met him all those years ago.
“Word on the street is you’re some kinda prodigy, huh kid?” 16 year old Tomura approached Katsuki their first year of middle school, waving his Nintendo Switch.
“Relax! I’m trying to get you in on something real interesting…”
Tomura told him all about this underground gaming tournament for all the middle schools in the area.
“You’re being real cute about this…” Tomura laughed as he took a puff of his cigarette.
“What the hell did you just call me?!”
“I called you cute.” The older guy put the cigarette in Katsuki’s mouth.
His behavior got weirder and weirder over the days, but Katsuki’s final straw was when he caught him going through his phone.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT?!”
“IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! GIVE ME THAT!” Katsuki tried to snatch his phone back.
“He’s not my damn crush! The little dweeb just happens to walk the same way home and gets in the way of the picture!”
Katsuki snapped after that. He beat him up until he couldn’t fight anymore. Then he made him public enemy number one.
Katsuki had never felt such disdain for anyone in his life.
Katsuki made sure to humiliate and crush him any chance he could! He was a weird loser and he made sure everyone around him knew not to talk to him. And after Izuku went missing?
It was supposed to stop when they graduated and never had to see each other again. And then they both went after the same internship after college.
But the fact that that bastard had Izuku locked up this whole time… the fact he was involved in such crazy crap and put Izuku through who knows what?! Why him?! Why did he go after him?!
Was it his fault?
He thought about what Shigaraki found in his phone. Did he really kidnap Izuku… because of him?
“Yes!” Izuku nodded his head up and down furiously. “It’s s-scary b-but… I want to!”
“There shouldn’t be too many people at this hour.”
Izuku smiled at him gratefully. His heart swelled more and more the closer they got. He wondered if they still sold those All Might chips!
‘MISSING: MIDORIYA IZUKU! Last Seen on December 21st outside Aldera Middle. If you have any information regarding his disappearance, call:’
“Shit. I forgot that was there!” Katsuki sighed.
“According to the police, there was a lot of prank calls.” Katsuki informed him. “But there was one old man who called a couple of years ago.”
“He said something about seeing you at the bus stop by Shigaraki’s… but when he asked if it was you, you ran back inside his house.”
“THAT NEVER HAPPENED!” Izuku began to panic. “Kacchan! I.. that didn’t happen!”
It was the year Tomura was kind. The year they fell in love. The year Izuku was free to go home whenever he wanted…
But he didn’t. He stayed. He stayed with Tomura…
So for the first time, he tried to go home.
“Midoriya Izuku?”
“Are you Midoriya Izuku?! The missing boy?! Do you need help?! They’re still looking for you!”
Suddenly, reality hit Izuku like a truck. If he went home, he probably wouldn’t be able to come back and see Tomura!
Luckily, there was only one or two other shoppers and they were too preoccupied with their own lives to notice the “missing boy” in the shop.
“Huh? Now you’re trying to limit yourself?” Katsuki snickered.
“I-I don’t wanna get too much!” Izuku fretted.
“It’s fine, get ‘em all.”
“REALLY?!”
“Izuku-kun?! Is that really you?!” It was a very tall woman with green hair and deer-like features. It took awhile for Izuku to recognize her! She was the teenager who used to work the counter when he was small!
“Onee-San…” Izuku greeted her when she burst into tears and threw her arms around him.
“Hey! Easy! Easy!” Katsuki insisted.
“So it’s true! You’re home safe! I’m so glad! I’m so glad!” She sobbed.
“Your mom and Katsuki-kun never stopped looking! We all hoped so strongly they’d find you! I’m so glad our prayers were answered!” She cried.
Katsuki noticed Izuku went quiet after that.
Katsuki could tell something was wrong. But he seemed excited enough at the store until that last moment. He couldn’t imagine all that he had been through. In fact,
“Yes?”
“If ya ever wanna…” Katsuki stopped himself as he tried to find a better way to word what he wanted to say. “I’m a much better listener now than when were kids, ya know! I won’t get mad at you for anything ya wanna say!”
Katsuki knew it was more than that but he didn’t want to push him. “Right…”
Izuku nodded gratefully before reiterating how tired he was. He went to bed and thankfully didn’t dream.
“What does that bastard want with me?!” He whispered harshly. “No! You’re not talking to Izuku! Isn’t all that other stuff enough to put him away for life?!”
“Why does he wanna tell me all that stuff?! Fine…. I’ll talk to that piece of shit but you tell your men to leave Izuku-”
“NO!” Izuku ran out of his room as fast as he could.
“Izuku?” Katsuki hung up the phone.
Katsuki quickly rushed to his side and tied to calm him down, but he was suffering from a full blown panic attack.
“Breathe, Izuku! You need to breathe!” Katsuki grabbed onto his hands.
“I won’t go! Alright?! It’s fine…” Katsuki swore. “I won’t see him.”
Izuku broke down into uncontrollable sobs and Katsuki just held him, not knowing what else to do. But the more he cried, the more Katsuki was tempted to see what that monster had to say.
Aizawa was gonna have to find another way to get those names out of Shigaraki’s mouth.

One week had passed and Izuku got to try more things. Going to the duck pond, the movie theatre, the park. He was slowly warming up to being back in society, but… Katsuki had to return to work and he was nervous about leaving him by himself.
“Izuku. I’m going back to work tomorrow.” Katsuki paused the movie they were watching.
“Oh! To put the bad guys away?”
“You know it.” Katsuki grinned proudly. “Will you be alright… by yourself?”
Izuku nodded his head. “I think so. I feel safe here. It’s home, after all. Thank you for keeping it the same! I’m sure you could probably afford something nicer,”
Katsuki gently pressed his fist to his forehead and smiled. “It was nothing.”

“Kirishima-kun! You know how Bakugo-kun is about his privacy! If no one’s seen him, there’s probably a reason!” Uraraka Ochaco followed her old college friend the next day after he made a rash decision to drop by his house, unannounced.
“Or he’ll keep it a secret and hold it in just like he did when Midoriya Inko died!”
“I agree with Kirishima.” Tsuyu said. “Bakugo-Chan was so tired from taking the funeral planning all on by himself while working that he crashed his car into the side of the highway.”
“We’re still hoping there’s nothing to be there for, right?” Kaminari said nervously. “That guy’s been through enough.”
They talked amongst themselves in worry until they got the apartment-
“Bakugo?!” Kirishima pounded on the frantically. “Bakugo, it’s us! We’re not going away till you come tell us what’s going on!” He persisted.
Izuku jumped out of his skin at the sound.
“H-hello?” Izuku questioned in confusion. “Kacchan’s not here right now… can I help you?”
It would be okay! These were Kacchan’s friends! Nothing bad would happen if they were here. The customary thing to do when guests knocked on the door was to invite them for tea!
“Do you need hel-”
“AHHHH!” Izuku shreiked as one of the girls tapped him on the shoulder.
Izuku looked at her kind smile and nodded. He never actually talked to girls his age and he didn’t know how. Well…
“That really is him, huh?” Kaminari whispered to Kirishima happily. “Isn’t it great he’s still alive?! I love happy endings…”
“You should sit down! Me and Tsuyu-Chan can take over from here. You can barely stand!” Uraraka offered while noting his wobbly legs.
Just where was he all this time?
“L-let me at least help you find where everything is!” He offered.
“There’s no need, Deku-kun.” She smiled at him and Izuku paused at the use of the nick name.
“You g-guys knew Mom?” Izuku suddenly felt a little safer around them.
They didn’t seem to know anything about Shigaraki or any hint of what really happened to him. Of what Izuku let happen at one point…
Everyone was so happy for Kacchan. And if Izuku came home when he had the chance…
“Midoriya.” The red headed guy spoke, starting him out of his thoughts. “Sorry for coming over unannounced.”
“Bring around people?” The girl with pink curly hair questioned.
“Um…” Izuku looked at everyone’s concerned uneasy eyes, and wondered-
“And how much you loved All Might!” The pink haired girl beamed.
“We shouldn’t sort through anything with Bakugo-kun here!” Iida scolded him.
“Bees?” Izuku blinked.
“You don’t remember?” Tsuyu questioned.
“Sorry… I don’t remember a lot! So… these stories are nice to hear!”
The girls were excited by that.
At one point, they all began telling Izuku things about themselves and before he knew it, he was actually making.. friends?
“Excuse me, I’ll be right back!”
Izuku walked into his room and was shocked by all the notifications on his phone!
‘You find food okay?’
‘Izuku?’
‘Hey.’
1 Missed Call from ‘Kacchan’
‘You asleep?!’
‘If you were asleep it’s fine! Just text and say you’re okay!’
3 Missed Calls from ‘Kacchan’
‘Call me!’
‘I’m not mad. Just tell me you’re okay!’
“Kacchan! I’m sorry!”
“Thank fuck!” Katsuki sighed in immense relief. It sounded like he hadn’t been able to breathe in hours. “Did you forget to check your phone?!”
“Which friends?!” Kacchan sounded panicked.
“Um.. Kirishima, Ashido, Kaminari, Iida-kun, Uraraka-San, and Ts-Tsuyu-chan!” Izuku beamed as he proudly remembered their names.
“I’m gonna kill ‘em!” He growled.
“Why?! They’re nice?!”
“No. They’re nice. They’re just too damn nosy for their own good!” Katsuki sighed in irritation. “I’ll be home in five minutes!”
“Did you put the bad guy away?”
“Not yet. Trials not for another week. Today was about- never mind it’s boring”
“Oh I can’t wait to see his face!” Ashido beamed. “They can finally have that All Might wedding they planned as kids! I love childhood friend romance!”
“I hope not!” Kirishima huffed.
“What do you have against him?”
Did he want love from him?
Izuku thought about how amazing he had been and wondered if his friends were right… was that what this was all about?
Maybe he could he even love Kacchan too! But… would Kacchan turn cruel like Tomura if he found out?
He couldn’t think of him… if he didn’t think of him, it would be okay. He could do this! He could give Kacchan what he wanted!
“If we stayed, it would probably be a murder!” Kaminari shivered.
“We’ll take his wrath another time! Nice to meet you, Deku-kun!”
“Izuku!” Katsuki entered his place frantically and clicked his tongue at no sign of his friends. “Ya told em I was coming and they scrammed like scared little cats, huh?!”
“That’s one way to describe ‘em.” Katsuki grumbled. “They didn’t say weird shit to you, did they?!”
“N-not at all! I had a lot of fun! And they told me stories about mom which made me happy!”
“Too tired to tell me about your day?” Izuku questioned as he sat next to him.
Truthfully, he wasn’t able to focus on his case. He took a small open and shut theft case instead of the more exciting murder or drug bust ones so he could take it easy and get home to Izuku faster.
He couldn’t lose him again. He wouldn’t.
“Only if you want to talk about it.” Izuku shrugged. “I want to know… more about the now Kacchan!”
“We can rest too, if you want?” Izuku gently put his head on his chest which was nice. Izuku must be getting more comfortable with him.
“Sorry. I know you like to yap.” Katsuki yawned.
“What are you-”
“If you need to relax, I can help.” Izuku smiled seductively before putting his lips on his.
“Izuku…”
“Kacchan has been amazing… so amazing so…” Izuku started to unbutton Katsuki’s shirt and Katsuki was too shocked to say anything.
“Hey…”
“It’s okay. Just relax.” Izuku kissed him again.
But damnit! This couldn’t be a dream! Izuku’s leg was shaking and so were his hands. When Katsuki’s body reacted, he trembled in fear. This was bad!
“STOP IT, IZUKU!”
“Sorry… shit.,, just… what the hell was that?!” Katsuki tried to help him up but Izuku backed away, trembling all over. “Hey, talk to me! Why did you-”
“I’m sorry!” He sobbed.
“Izuku, I just got you back…” Katsuki said steadily.
“Right… I was dumb… Of course you don’t love me…”
“That’s a word we can talk about another time! Just not now!”
“Don’t leave…”
“I’m not gonna leave! I’d never leave unless you want me to!”
“No. You just… to talk to me, alright?! You can talk to me! Why did you think I wanted-”
“I wanted to show you I love you. We’re grown ups now and that’s what they do, right? That’s what Tomura said is the best way to-”
“Nevermind!” He panicked and ran to his room.
“Shigaraki told you what?!”
“IT’S NOTHING!”
“I’M SORRY KACCHAN!”
“I don’t care about that! I care about you! Did that bastard-”
“IF YOU CARE, YOU WON’T ASK!”
“Izuku!” Katsuki’s heart broke at the thought of THAT happening to him!
“I told you… I’m not going anywhere…”
“You should… because I’m terrible…”
“No way in hell I’ll ever believe that, Izuku!” Katsuki sobbed.
Izuku opened the door and threw his arms around him before crying into his chest.
“Because the Izuku I know never gave up on me. So I’ll be damned if I ever give up on him!”
They cried together like that until they fell asleep on the floor.
This was all that did…
Suddenly there was a loud pounding at the door.
He grabbed a bat by the coat rack and slowly approached the door. “Who the hell is it?!”
“Bakugo! It’s me!” Aizawa announced. “I need to talk to you before the other police do!”
“Huh?!”
“What the hell do they want from Izuku?!” Katsuki seethed under his breath.
“Those bastards wouldn’t dare!” Katsuki growled.
“Izuku doesn’t know anything! He was held against his will! The only thing he’ll be able to tell them is how long it takes paint to dry and how much Shigaraki’s breath stinks!”
“He’s told me enough to keep him far
away from that bastard!”
Aizawa slid his hand down his face before looking into Katsuki’s eyes seriously.
“THAT’S BULLSHIT!” Katsuki slammed the table with his fist and panic filled Izuku.
He had get out of there before the police came! He had to run before Kacchan found out the truth!
“Ah!” Izuku yelped as the car barely stopped in time.
-
-
-
Katsuki was boiling with rage as he kicked the police station door open.
“WHERE IS HE, YOU NO GOOD BASTARDS?!”
“Was the your idea, fuck face?! Arresting someone who’s been though enough?!”
“IF YOU WANTED COOPERATION, THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO GET IT!”
“Where is he?!”
“I’ll never forgive you bastards for this!” Katsuki asserted.
“Come on. Shigaraki’s room is this way.”
Whatever he did to Izuku was all Katsuki’s fault.
Because only he knew how Katsuki felt about him. Only he knew what Katsuki kept hidden.
“Ah there’s that irritating sound.” Tomura chuckled at his voice. “I almost missed it.”
“Still a creep then?!” Katsuku snapped. “Get lost. No one will take you seriously.”
“Well I still hate you, perv!”
“That’s fine. Hate me all you want. But I’m getting this internship. And you aren’t, sorry.”
“Bakugo Katsuki?” The interviewer called his name
“By the way, before you interview that guy, I recommend calling Shizawa Elementary. Heard he can’t go 10 kilometers near it. Would hurt to work with someone like that!”
“Geez…” Shigaraki suddenly grinned wickedly as a tear fell.
“SHUT YOUR TRAP! I DON’T CARE!” Katsuki shoved him.
“YOU WILL! I’LL SHOW YOU! YOU’LL PAY!”
“Is that really what this all is still about?! GET LOST!”
“YOU WILL NEVER LIVE THIS DOWN! And I can’t wait until it all comes to light!”
“There you are!” Aizawa rushed over to them and put his hand on his shoulder. “I’ve been suspended for tipping you off about Midoriya. But they allowed me to be your escort as my last duty.”
“You know I have to.” Aizawa sighed. “That’s why I’m here.”
The two walked in the room and Shigaraki looked up with the largest grin on his face.
“We’re here for the names!” Aizawa interjected.
“Yeah yeah yeah, I’ll give them to you.” Shigaraki yawned. “But I’ve got lots more crimes to confess to first.”
“That’s it… that’s the look I want to see…. I did everything you’re probably thinking.” Tomura chuckled. “I felt bad about it at first because he was so young. But he grew to love it.”
“BAKUGO! STOP! DON’T PLAY HIS GAME! LET ME ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS!” Aizawa insisted.
“GO ON ASK ME! ASK ME HOW HE TASTES! ASK ME WHAT IT FELT LIKE BEING INSIDE HIM!”
“AIZAWA! LET ME GO! I’LL KILL YOU TOO! LET ME END HIS MISERABLE LIFE!” Katsuki began to panic as all his worst fears were being confirmed one after the other.
“SHUT UP YOU LIAR! IZUKU WOULD NEVER LOVE SCUM LIKE YOU”
Katsuki stormed out of the room before finding the nearest bathroom to throw up in.
The police got their names. Shigaraki was true to his word and the police were true to theirs. They released Izuku but Katsuki wasn’t able to say a word to him.
Katsuki couldn’t make him feel better. He couldn’t make anything better. He caused all the problems. He thought by helping his mom all these years, he would do right by him. He thought he could support him.
Izuku didn’t deserve it! Izuku didn’t deserve what happened to him!
He was supposed to be happy!
And he wasn’t and it was all Katsuki’s fault! He didn’t fault him for falling for his captor!
Everything wrong in Izuku’s was because he had the misfortune of being born in the name neighborhood as Katsuki!
“Kacchan…” Izuku said shakily as he reached for the door handle. “D-did you break your promise?”
Katsuki forced a smile and gently held his hand. “You should rest.”
“We’re out of milk. It’s late.” He put his wallet on the table, took off his coat and walked back outside.
“You did break your promise then?! Please don’t leave! I’m sorry!”
“Let me come with you! Kacchan! Kacchan!” Izuku called after him but Katsuki kept walking until he was back in the car and then he drove as fast as he could to the highest point he could find.
Katsuki closed his eyes as he sped his car up faster and faster.
“KATSUKI-KUN!” He was suddenly slapped across the face. “SLOW DOWN!”
“Auntie?!” Katsuki gasped as he saw Midoriya Inko in his rear view mirror.
“I’M THE REASON YOU LOST HIM, AUNTIE! I’M THE REASON YOU DIDN’T GET TO SEE HIM BEFORE YOU DIED!”
“YOU KEPT HIM ALIVE FOR ME, KATSUKI-KUN! AND YOU’RE THE ONLY REASON HE HAS HOPE NOW!”
Katsuki slowly caught his breath before turning around and seeing nothing. Damnit. He made things worse for Izuku…

-
“I-I don’t know what kind of car! But it’s green! Please find it!” Izuku sobbed on the phone with the police.
“Midoriya!” Shoto knocked on the door frantically. “I’m here.”
“Todoroki-kun! Help! Please tell them what kind of car Kacchan drives!”
“Yes, we need you looking for a-” Shoto sighed in relief as he turned around and saw Bakugo’s car pull into his parking spot. “Nevermind…” He hung up the phone and smiled reassuringly at Izuku. “Bakugo’s home.”
“YOU IDIOT!” Izuku screamed. “YOU CAN’T GET MILK WITHOUT YOUR WALLET!”
Katsuki silently walked over to him and looked into his stressed, exhausted eyes that were filled with hurt.
Tears filled Izuku’s eyes as his fears came true.
“It’s all my fault, Izuku.” Katsuki fell to his knees and bowed his head to the floor.
“Listen! It’s all my fault! You need to know Shigaraki came after me first! He made a pass at me in middle school and I freaked out and that’s why he went after you! To get back at me!”
“Izuku, I liked you a more than I was willing to admit!” Katsuki sobbed. “I was an asshole to you! But I couldn’t stop thinking about you! And he figured that out!”
“I don’t deserve to spend another second with you. But I’m not going to leave you. Izuku, I’m so sorry. I’m sorry!” He cried.
“You must have been scared of him too… all this time… we were just kids when this all started! And I don’t know about you, but I still feel like a kid myself! I’m still scared! But when I’m with you, I’m not!”
Katsuki held him tight. “I wanna do whatever makes you happy from now on!”
“Th-then let’s watch All Might! There’s a new episode that just came out! Does Todoroki-kun like All Might?! We can introduce him and start all over!”
“I was worried about you so I called him to help!”
Shoto waved and Katsuki waved back. “Yeah, we’ll force him to watch All Might.”

The next morning, Shoto woke up and tidied around Izuku and Katsuki who were asleep in each other’s arms on the couch.
He was glad thing were working out for them. His phone then rang and he sighed before stepping out.
“I told you. I’m not helping you in any plan.”
An ache suddenly filled his heart as his eyes trailed down to the tally marks cruelly carved on his hands, his arms, his legs...
counted.
Izuku slowly opened his eyes and gasped when he realized what he was doing. He pulled his hand away immediately and backed away so fast, he almost fell.
Tears welled up in Izuku’s eyes as he looked away in shame and covered any exposed skin with the blanket.
Izuku was shaking as Katsuki slowly brushed his hair out of his face.
“We don’t have to talk about any of it.” He said gently.
“I thought he was crazy!” Izuku blurted out. “When Tomura told me… he wanted to hurt you by hurting me-”
“You don’t have to explain yourself to me!”
Izuku’s eyes widened as he felt understood in a way he never thought he would be.
“It’s for the best.” Izuku looked at him gratefully. “I’d rather be here with you… than playing pretend with him.” Suddenly his stomach grumbled and he blushed.
“Then let’s make some real food!”
“Omelette?”
“That sounds good!” Izuku beamed when Katsuki opened the fridge door and cursed.
“Fuck!”
“What is it?!”
“We’re still out of milk…”
Izuku enjoyed shopping at the market with Kacchan! He felt so much lighter.
“You wanna go?” Katsuki pointed to a different poster. An advertisement to a local amusement park.
“Oh! Um… I wasn’t looking at that!” Izuku blushed.
“Ya sure? Sounds fun.” Katsuki shrugged.
“Oh u-u-u-umm we’re not- i-it’s not-” Izuku stuttered as his face turned red.
“I heard they have an All Might themed ride.” Katsuki ignored her as he grabbed his hand. “Come on! Let’s eat!”
There were so many people around, but Kacchan’s hand holding his, it wasn’t overwhelming.
“We don’t have to do the roller coasters if you’re scared.”
“Ya better not puke after!” Katsuki laughed before grabbing his hand and leading him toward the ride.
“Bakugo?! Midoriya?! You guys are here too?!”
“What the hell’re you doing here?!” Katsuki groaned.
“It’s nice to see you again!” Izuku beamed.
“It’s nice to see you too, Deku-kun!” Uraraka beamed.
“I’m surprised you’re here!”
“Kacchan makes everything easier!” Izuku nodded.
“Look at you, KACCHAN~” Kaminari sang. “Being a good guy!”
“I’ve always been a good guy!” Katsuki barked.
“Nice to see you out and about, Midoriya!” He smiled.
Everyone talked and caught up but as the line moved, Izuku couldn’t help but noticed Kirishima staring a little too hard at his and Kacchan’s hands.
“Nuh uh. I don’t wanna lose ya.” Katsuki insisted on squeezing it tighter, making him blush.
But Iida did. And he thought long and hard about what they discussed as he watched Midoriya and Bakugo interact.
After all, they looked happy. There was no need to interfere. No matter how concerned they all were.
“I’m sorry! It was just really really exciting!” He covered his mouth as Kacchan stared at him weirdly.
“Holy shit. That nerd was still in there, huh?”
“I-it is an All Might ride after all…” Izuku blushed and looked away. Truthfully, Kacchan was stunning to look at. And when he smiled? Blindingly so. Izuku was so grateful for everything he had done for him,
Now that Kacchan knew what he had been through, it explained them but it didn’t excuse them. Izuku couldn’t make that mistake again.
But Izuku didn’t want to get his hopes up. Living with Kacchan felt too right. Holding his hand, holding him, sleeping in each others arms…
“Hey! What’s wrong?!” Katsuki wiped the tear Izuku didn’t realize was rolling down his cheek.
“Fine! But if you scream more than me, you’re buying the crepes!” Katsuki stuck his tongue out.
“B-but I don’t have money!” Izuku paled.
Izuku reached in and pulled out a brand new limited edition All Might Silver Age Coach Collection wallet.
“W-when did-”
“Open it.” Katsuki demanded.
Izuku shakily opened it and saw it filled with cash, his ID,
“KACCHAN! Why did you give me all this?!” Izuku’s entire face turned bright red.
“You’re welcome! Come on, the line’s gettin’ long!” Katsuki reached for his hand when suddenly his friends got off the ride.
“WOO! THAT WAS CRAZY!”
“I can’t… I’m gonna…” Uraraka ran to the bathroom while covering her mouth and Tsuyu quickly followed her.
“Ochaco-chan!”
“Is she okay?” Izuku questioned.
“She’s always doing that!” Katsuki scoffed.
“That’s one’s squeamish!” Mina teased.
“Bakugo!” Kirishima pointed to the game stands. “You wanna shoot some ducks like old times?!”
“We’re going to ride it again!” Katsuki declined his invitation while pointing at the roller coaster.
“Ya sure? The line’s twice as long now!” Kirishima laughed.
“We’re not in a hurry to be anywhere, nerd. We can wait!” Katsuki stubbornly pointed to the line.
“But it would be nice to be with everyone! I haven’t played carnival games in awhile! Let’s do it!”
“He’s staying with me!” Katsuki interjected before grabbing his hand. “Do ya wanna do balloon darts with Shitty Hair or darts with glasses?”
“Then let’s go to the bathroom.” Katsuki rolled his eyes.
“I-I’d like to go by myself!” Izuku insisted before running to the restrooms. He appreciated Kacchan’s watchful eye but he wasn’t a kid.
“Closed for Cleaning!”
“U-um excuse me! Where’s the nearest restroom to this one?” Izuku questioned.
“Two rides down by the tilt-a-whirl! But you’re honestly better going to the one across the park!”
“Th-thank you!” Izuku bowed before deciding the best course of action.
Izuku wondered if he upset Kacchan’s friends somehow. Nerves suddenly filled him. He hadn’t seen Kacchan look that angry in a long time. Did he embarrass him?
He shook his head. Kacchan wasn’t Tomura. They weren’t the same. He wouldn’t hurt him…
Right?
“He’s going to be so disgusted that you’ve been my toy this whole time…”
“Are you okay, kid?” The cleaning guy questioned, making Izuku jump.
“Ah!” He ran and tried to follow signs for the arcade but his vision was blurry as tears filled his eyes.

“What the hell do you want?!” Katsuki questioned Eijiro angrily. “You made him uncomfortable!”
“About ME?! I’m fine!” Katsuki barked.
“Midoriya called us too that night! It was late so a lot of us missed the call but Todoroki filled us in!”
“Don’t lie to us! It’s not like you!” Kirishima snapped.
“Did you stalk me here?! How the hell did you get my location?! Half and Half couldn’t have known we were coming!”
“Ashido made you share it after Mama Midoriya died and you crashed your car! Bakugo, this is getting out of-”
“APOLOGIES!”
“Iida!” Kirishima protested.
“He’s right.” Kaminari sighed.
“Whatever. Stay out of mine and Deku’s way.” Katsuki stomped toward the restroom and froze when he saw the closed for cleaning sign.
Then his heart dropped.

Izuku didn’t know how he ended up on the Merry Go Round. But he did. He found it oddly soothing. Going around and around and around. The wind hitting his hair, blowing all his tears away. He remembered last time he got one with his mom.
He missed her desperately.
“Yeah mom! I’m a big boy!”
Izuku suddenly wished he told her yes. He wished he got on that bus when he was allowed to. He wished he never took the long way home all those years ago.
“DEKU-KUN?! Guys, I found him!” She pointed at him and Mina and Tsuyu followed her finger.
“I’m sorry… was I gone long?” Izuku blinked, as he realized the sun was already down.
“You were gone for hours.” Tsuyu pointed out. “What happened?!”
“The bathrooms were closed and then… I don’t really know.”
“It’s okay! It’s our fault! We were worried about Bakugo-kun after Todoroki-kun told us what happened! So… we wanted to surprise you guys and check in! But we should have known better!”
“Huh? Where’s Kacchan?”
“He’s there waiting for us.” Tsuyu said sadly. “When he lost you, his heart couldn’t take it and he fainted.”
“Is he okay?!”
“I’ll call him right now!” Mina insisted.
Izuku felt terrible the whole way home. He should have known better than to worry Kacchan. After everything? What was he thinking?!
“It was better he stayed asleep until he saw you himself.” Shoto sighed. “Thanks Uraraka. I got it from here.”
“We’re really sorry again, Deku-kun.” Ochaco bowed.
“It’s okay!”
When they left, he felt exhausted and terrible. The whole day was overwhelming. It started off so nice too…
“Midoriya. Drink some tea. He’ll wake up soon.”
“I want to be here, holding his hand like he does for me.” Izuku insisted. “I want to stop being such a burden to him!” He cried. “I scared him today! Because I trusted Tomura’s voice in my head and not him! I thought he would hurt me so I ran!”
“You’re doing your best.” Shoto sat next to him. He then grabbed his hand and placed it on the burn mark on his eye.
“Todoroki-kun…” Izuku never asked about his scars. He barely even noticed them because he was distracted by how relaxed he made him feel.
“But you will. Especially Bakugo. He’s never given up on you. And he doesn’t plan to.”
“Izuku…?”
“Kacchan! I’m so sorry!” Izuku cried. “I tried to find the other bathroom and I got lost!”
“I can’t let you help me do everything, can I?”
“Why not?” Katsuki smiled at him. “That’s why I’m here.”
Izuku stared at him in awe,
“Like the real All Might!”
“All Might is real!”
“Huh? Like Santa?! You weren’t kidnapped that long ago!”
“He’s very real!”
“We really need to get you back in school!”
Shoto watched them bicker and smiled before excusing himself.
“Pick up, damnit!” He growled and sighed when it went straight to voicemail. Shoto looked at his phone wallpaper of all of them together at graduation. Kirishima’s arm was around Bakugo who was screaming.
“But you know that childhood friend he’s looking for?” Kirishima had questioned at lunch one day,
“Deku-kun?” Ochaco questioned.
“Yeah. Well it’s probably nothing. But-”
“They all went to middle school together, right?” Mina questioned. “Maybe they were all friends at one point! Maybe he’s looking for him too?”
“It looked kind of recent…”
“I’m sorry, why aren’t we telling Bakugo?” Shoto blinked.
“It could be nothing! It’s probably nothing!” Kirishima stressed. “It maybe wasn’t even him! I saw it for a second!”
“Yeah, it was probably nothing.” Kirishima sighed.
And he needed to get his friends to stop trying.
Ever since the amusement park, that’s where he found himself sleeping every night.
It had been three months since then and Izuku was getting used to being back in normal society. He even was able to go to the market by himself!
As he finally was getting used to some kind of normal, he found himself… longing for more. Kacchan had already given him so much, but Izuku wanted a permanent place in his arms.
A roommate. It was an accurate description. But it felt… wrong,
It felt temporary!
Kacchan’s strong arms held him tight and Izuku wanted to run his hand across them
He shook off his own deeply disturbed thoughts and decided to get some water.
“Mm…Kacchan…” Izuku squirmed, having enough of the platonic affection.
“Hm?” Katsuki lazily grunted before drifting eyes open.
“I’m thirsty!” Izuku blushed in frustration.
“Huh? I’ll get us some water then..”
“Sit! Kacchan! I can get my own water!” Izuku pulled him back down, causing the taller guy’s head to fall in his lap.
“Get me one too then, will ya?”
“Yeah… okay…” Izuku quickly stood up and rushed to the kitchen and tried not to get worked up. Kacchan wasn’t rejecting him. He wasn’t being cruel. He was just being kind…
Kacchan would leave him soon. As soon as he was back on his feet. He would leave and start his life.
So maybe… maybe he was an idiot for rejecting Iida’s offer…
One week after the theme park, Iida and Kirishima stopped by while Kacchan was at work.
“I’m sorry, you just missed him!” Izuku greeted them.
The two had a lot to get off their chest. They told Izuku all about how much Kacchan cared for him. How every day after school, he would spend it looking for clues, going back to their old middle school,
He intervened and yelled at Iida and Kirishima, telling them Izuku just got home and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Izuku asked him not to tell Kacchan about the offer. He told himself it was because he didn’t want Kacchan to be mad at his friends. But truthfully?
Izuku got his answer but now? He was so attached to him, it was painful! He wanted to be loved by him. He wanted to be desired by him! It was terrible…
“Ahh! Kacchan! I told you I’d bring the waters!” Izuku scolded before noticing the patient look on Katsuki’s face. “I did it again, huh?”
“Only ten minutes this time.” Katsuki reached over and turned off the faucet.
“Why don’t you scold me??” Izuku questioned.
“Huh? I’m not your parent!”
“But you do pay for everything! And I shouldn’t be wasteful! You can tell me when I’m wrong!”
Izuku stared at him, completely unsatisfied with that answer. “You’re the worst!”
“Huh?!”
Izuku ran to his room and slammed the door. He was being weird and he knew it!
He was letting Tomura get in his head. He had been his pet… no, his toy, for years.
Izuku opened the door and grabbed the cup from Kacchan’s hand before drinking half of it. Then he paused and gave the cup to him. “Drink the other half?”
Katsuki blinked before taking the cup.
Katsuki had no idea what he wanted, but he guessed the best route was to just drink it. So he finished the other half. “You want me to get the other cup and share that too?”
“S-sure.” Izuku blushed before quietly following him.
Katsuki seemed to be doing the right thing. But he didn’t know why and he was sure asking would have Izuku biting his head off.
“I’m sorry, Kacchan! I have a lot on my mind… and it’s hard to talk about it! I… don’t really know how to bring it up.”
“Then pretend I’m a wall!” Katsuki offered. “If ya need to just get it off your chest, I won’t say anything back!”
“It’s not that kind of…” Izuku shuffled uncomfortably. “I-”
“Ask then!” Katsuki grabbed his hand.
“What do you think of m-” Izuku was about to blurt out when Katsuki’s phone rang and he lost all his nerve.
Maybe it was best he didn’t demand more of Kacchan. He kept taking and taking. He needed to give back too!
“Sorry. Please! Ask what you were gonna ask!” Katsuki insisted.
“What do you think of me cooking dinner tonight?” Izuku questioned.
“Ya sure you’re up for it?”
“I’ve been watching videos, I’m sure I can!”
“My favorite is gonna be hard for me to trust you with!” Katsuki chuffed. “If ya wanna learn to cook, start with something easy.” He gave him a list of dishes to try for beginners,
He then rushed Kacchan out of the house and excitedly spent the day cleaning the whole apartment and preparing to thank him. He went to the market and bought a fancy table cloth, some candles and a cake.
He followed the YouTube recipes he found and when he taste tested it, it was actually pretty good! While it may not impress Kacchan,
“The hell’s all this?” Katsuki was stunned when he walked through the door and heard the jazz Izuku played on his mom’s old record player. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen table was decorated all fancy.
“Ya never learned, huh?” Katsuki smiled fondly before approaching him and fixing it.
“I knew you were making dinner, but what’s with all this, huh?” Katsuki questioned.
“I wanted to thank you for everything!” Izuku balled his fists. “Please sit!”
“You got the spices just right!” Katsuki praised him. “Were you tricking me when you said you’ve never cooked before?”
“Not at all! I’m glad you like it!”
“Yeah… You sure you want some?” Katsuki questioned. “It’s strong if you’re not used to it!”
“Um… I kind of am used to it.”
“I wasn’t stuck inside all the time. Tomura had a moat and I liked to feed the koi inside!”
“Is that so?”
“Mmmhmm! There was one koi I named Tom-Tom! I hope he’s doing okay! He was bigger than the rest!”
“Truthfully?” Katsuki sighed. “Yeah. She thought she would finally see you again. I feel selfish.”
“Selfish?”
Izuku stared at him carefully before inching closer. “Why do you care so much for me, Kacchan? I still don’t get it.”
“Beautiful? Me?!”
“Don’t pretend you’re not!” Katsuki laughed.
“What if I want you to to talk more?” Izuku questioned. “Should I pour you another cup?”
Katsuki hiccuped and laughed before pressing their foreheads together. “What are you doing?”
He then leaned closer and Katsuki hesitated to take full advantage. He shouldn’t. It wasn’t right! But damn, Izuku smelled good. And his face was so pretty with a blush just for him.
Oh… he was kissing Izuku. Katsuki never understood why everyone made a big deal about their first kiss, but this was… amazing. Shit, it was perfect.
“Mm.. Kacchan…” Izuku said his name and crawled into his lap before returning his passion so sinfully. He straddled him and wrapped his arms around him and Katsuki couldn’t resist kissing him all over.
“Kacchan….” Izuku looked at him so vulnerably. “Can we… be together? Like a-as boyfriends or something? Please?”
Shit.
Shit! Shit!
If he said no, it would break Izuku’s heart. But if he said yes, it wouldn’t be right. They were both drunk as hell! They weren’t thinking straight!
“You deserve better!” Was all Katsuki could think to say.
“But I want you!” Izuku persisted.
“I want you too, Izuku!” Katsuki cupped his face.
“Right… I’m sorry…” Izuku looked horrified, like he did something he shouldn’t have. “I don’t know what I was thinking!”
“We both don’t! It’s fine!” Katsuki insisted but Izuku was already spiraling.
“Damnit…” He cursed the wine bottle as he placed a pillow over his pants.
He fucked up.
“Hi mom… it’s been awhile…” Izuku reached out and touched her picture on the alter and pretended it was her. If he let reality go for a moment, he could pretended he was in her arms.
“You!” Tomura kicked the door open and Izuku instinctively prepared to fight him off. “Ugh… how often are you going to try that crap, huh?” He chuckled.
“Calm down… I’m not in the mood for any of that crap today. Truthfully? I’m just bored!” Tomura yawned before sitting next to him.
“Yeah yeah you’re scared of me. I know. But you got nowhere else to go. So why not have a chat?!” He said cheerily before proceeding to tell him about his mundane boring day.
“What about you?! What the hell are your days like?!” Tomura laughed like what he said was funny.
“Cold!” Izuku said raspily, surprised by the sound of his own voice.
He left and Izuku wondered what he meant by that. He returned hours later.
“Get up, Midoriya Izuku… I got a present for you!” Tomura smiled wide before tossing a large fluffy blanket on him.
“D-did you spend all day making this?!” Izuku’s jaw dropped.
Izuku was stunned as all kinds of scary looking men entered the room carrying a full dressed, a king sized bed and mattress,
“What is all this?” Izuku wondered if there was a trick. If he was being killed and replaced, or worse if all these men were going to hurt him too… “Shigaraki-San, what is all this?!” He asked again, desperately.
After that, Izuku was like a stray dog slowly being won over by treats. A warm cozy room, someone to talk to, entertainment beyond counting the seconds and day dreaming his escape…
And then it all came crashing down.
Izuku had prepared a meal for him, it wasn’t anything fancy… it was just whatever he could scrounge together.
But then the front door was kicked open, and Izuku immediately felt chills down his spine. Like he was prey.
“IZUKU!” Tomura’s voice was animalistic. Like the way Izuku first remembered it. He didn’t know what else to do but run and try to hide, but Tomura was fast. He caught him and threw him to floor.
But Izuku felt numb. He felt hopeless.
It was like his mind was sucked into a black hole, jumbled up and thrown back at him. Reality was cruel. Izuku had a year to go back home and escape. And he blew it.
Then hope filled him. And while he was so grateful for everything, he couldn’t help but feel he didn’t deserve any of it!
Izuku hated bothering her but he couldn’t help but vent all his frustrations to her.
Izuku felt a lot lighter getting everything off his chest. He could almost feel his mom with him, rubbing his back and soothing him.
It’s a nice thought that dead still listened. And all someone like Izuku could do was hold on to nice thoughts.
“ACK!”
“KACCHAN?!” Izuku gasped. “Are you okay?!”
“‘M fine! Shit!” Katsuki held his head and backed away as Izuku rushed to his side.
“Do you need ice?!” Izuku fretted.
“I’m r-right here.” Izuku stuttered.
“Y-yeah.” Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat. “L-like your boyfriend right?! Not like your sex slave or your roommate with benefits or-”
“Kacchan!” Izuku cried. “You really mean it? You’re not just asking to be nice!”
“I’ve loved your since we were kids, Izuku. And I’m tired of hiding it.”
“I love you too.”
They kissed and Katsuki knew whatever happened next, he had to make it work. He couldn’t afford to lose him! Never again.
Here was, wrapped in his arms, kissing him. Loving him, touching him in a way that set Katsuki’s whole body on fire. He wasn’t about to indulge in all of him, not yet…
“I’ve been working non-stop for days. Those bozos can do research on the case for one day without me!” Katsuki assured him.
It had been three weeks since Izuku and Katsuki gave romance a real shot but it had been kept close to their chest.
“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!”
“We just wanted to offer Midoriya the best-”
“Fuck off! You don’t care about him! Was you ruining his first time having fun not enough for you?!” Katsuki seethed.
“That’s none of your business!”
“You wanna talk about the day at the theme park?!”
“You try losing someone you care about for almost a decade! And then losing them again! Anyone in my shoes would have been fucked! I don’t need your concern!” Katsuki defended himself.
“Iida!” Kirishima looked betrayed.
“I brought this matter to my brother because of his line of work!” Iida informed him.
“If you set yourself on fire to keep him warm, eventually you’ll burn and then he’ll have no one!”
“Midoriya’s not some shattered princess you get to marry in the fairytale in your head!”
“What did you say?!”
“Kirishima! That is quite enough!” Iida whispered harshly.
“You’ve been obsessed with finding him for as long as I’ve known you! I see the way you look at him now! You’re expecting too much from him!”
“I would never take advantage of him! You don’t know what you’re talking about!” Katsuki snapped.
“Sorry for caring!”
“Enough Kirishima!” Iida scolded.
“What’s wrong?” Izuku questioned with Katsuki’s head in his lap.
“You know the world is huge, right?” Katsuki sighed. “I’m not the greatest thing out there!”
He pulled Katsuki into his room and brought out old notebooks. “I’m kind of embarrassed to show you these but when I say I’ve always loved you? Well…” He presented an old notebook, obviously written when he was a child.
“The hell is this?” Katsuki couldn’t help but chuckle.
“Don’t laugh at my delusions!”
“We drew straws on who would wear the dress and you lost!”
“Then you definitely are wearing the dress in real life!” Katsuki teased him,.
“I was a kid then Kacchan! We can both wear suits nowadays!”
“Kacchan! I’m trying to make a point!” Izuku said before Katsuki stuck his tongue down his throat, showing him his feelings were successfully conveyed. “Mm… you don’t want to see-”
“Oh I wanna see everything!” Katsuki huffed as he kissed him once more.
Shitty Hair knew nothing about Izuku! But he did make a point that gnawed at Katsuki.
Izuku needed a bigger support system. After that day, Katsuki invited Todoroki more often. The two got along well and Katsuki never had to worry about Half and Half making a move.
Going to finishing school will help him get an even bigger support system, but Katsuki wasn’t willing to send him away.
The first two they visited that day were okay,
The last school they went to was career based and it did exactly that.
“Kacchan! Did you see?! They even have tracks for comic drawing!”
“I don’t know…. I…” Izuku blushed while looking at all the pamphlets in his hand. “I haven’t been able to think about my future in a long time!”
Of course it was the most expensive school they saw that day, but-
When they were enrolling Izuku, Katsuki took him out to a celebratory dinner.
“This place is fancy!” Izuku nervously looked around.
“It’s fucking delicious, I’ll tell you that!” Katsuki stretched.
“Enough for you to not have to worry about it!”
After eating the fanciest meal Izuku had ever tried, Katsuki brought him to the dance floor at the center of the restaurant.
“This is nice…” Izuku tiptoed and spoke in his ear.
“Ya like dancing?”
“Then how about you spin, huh?” Katsuki teased before spinning him out, making laugh.
“Ahh! Kacchan! I’m not that good!”
“You’re perfect.” He whispered before kissing him intensely. Izuku felt like melting. This was what real love was like. And he was so happy he got to experience it with Kacchan.
Kirishima watched Bakugo kiss Midoriya in horror as he started his shift as a waiter for the part time job he was too embarrassed to tell his friends he had.
It was worse than he thought.
Then he texted Bakugo.
“I want to apologize to both you and Midoriya. Do you think I can come over?”
He needed to be close enough to keep an eye on things.
He couldn’t fail Midoriya twice!
“Y-you really don’t have to do that! It’s okay!” Izuku fretted as Iida and Kirishima bowed their heads to their knees.
“They should be on the floor.”
“You are most right! I am terribly sorry!” Iida got on his hands and knees.
“Iida-kun! It’s okay!” Izuku was beat red, at this point but Katsuki didn’t care. He needed to get used to people apologizing to him when they were wrong!
“Not fast enough!”
“Kacchan!” Izuku whined. “Th-thank you both, really! I know you mean well! It’s okay! I’m glad Kacchan has people who care about him that much!”
“Yes, Midoriya-kun! Please! Allow us to treat you and Bakugo-kun to a wonderful evening at a fine establishment!”
“That would be n-nice! But it’s okay!” Izuku exhaled in exhaustion. “Maybe instead we can all have a game night? Mom said games are a great way to ease tension!”
He remembered the many times Auntie Inko made them all snacks for their study sessions and brought out games for them to play when they would get in heated debates. And here was her son that she missed dearly…
It was too soon! Much too soon for Midoriya to be kissing anyone the way Bakugo kissed him. He hoped all they were doing was kissing… if it was more-
“Games sound like fun!” Kirishima grinned. Truthfully, game nights with Bakugo sucked. He won everything, always.
“Perhaps we should invite everyone!” Iida offered. “The more the merrier right?!”
“More losers?” Katsuki bragged. “Fine by me!”
“I don’t know, Midoriya.” Kirishima chuckled. “You ever have a game night with him around?” He pointed at Katsuki.
“Several growing up!” Izuku beamed before his expression took a dark turn. “I can’t wait to do my best against him again!”
Kirishima was shocked as during the game night, Midoriya wasn’t only just as competitive as Bakugo but he managed to beat him twice!
First at Old Maid
Then at Sorry!
Now they played Hero Cards and tied three times, with Midoriya getting the upper hand.
“GO MIDORIYA!” Kaminari cheered.
“DEKU-KUN! DEKU-KUN! DEKU-KUN!” Uraraka chanted.
“You may have won all those losers over, Izuku, but I’m still gonna win!”
“We’ll see with these last cards!”
“It’s another draw!” Iida chopped the air.
Izuku stared at the cards as a sudden memory hit him.
Right… that’s where he went the day he ran into Tomura.
“Um… I’ll be back! I think I just need some air, sorry!” Izuku walked outside to the balcony and tried to calm his heart. He forgot that day completely until now. The day his life changed forever.
Did he say thank you when gave in? He couldn’t remember.
“Fancy seeing you here, Midoriya Izuku?” Tomura put his hand on his shoulder. “You don’t usually come to my part of town!”
“Nah. I came here for you!”
“For me?”
“I saw you in here and thought you might be the only one who can help me!”
Izuku didn’t remember what excuse he gave. He followed him right into what would be his prison.
“You alright?”
“Ah!” Izuku jumped out of his skin at the sound of Kirishima’s voice.
“I’m fine! Thank you for checking, um… I just remembered a day I forgot… a really bad one! And so… I’m getting some air.”
Kirishima stared at him for a moment with a look Izuku couldn’t quite discern.
“You’ve been through a lot…” Eijiro sighed before rubbing the back of his head. “I don’t even know the half of it. But you can talk to any of us!”
“I’m sorry… I’m not used to having friends.” Izuku shrugged. “A lot of this stuff I’m not even sure I want to admit to myself. It’s all jumbled in my head… like a black ball falling apart at the seams!”
“You didn’t have to, man!” Eijiro said reassuringly before putting his hand on his shoulder.
“I just wish I could see her!” Izuku sobbed. “I wish she was here!”
“Izuku.” Katsuki opened the sliding door,
“He needed someone, man!”
“He needed air! Now go inside and watch the movie with everyone else!” Katsuki demanded.
Izuku looked gratefully at him before wiping the tears off his face.
“Any time…” Eijiro glared at Katsuki before brushing past him.
“Sorry… I was distracting everyone and a worm slipped through my fingers.” Katsuki growled after Kirishima closed the door.
“Remember kind he was when he tried to ship you off to boarding school?!”
“Can we not talk about that right now…” Izuku sighed before laying his head in Katsuki’s chest and wrapping his arms around him.
“Wanna go for a drive?” Katsuki whispered. “Your mom said you used to like doing that… the idiots will be busy with that movie for a couple of hours…”
“That would be nice…”
Suddenly he heard her voice and swiftly turned to see Kacchan’s knowing look.
“What is this?”
Izuku teared up as he overwhelmed with happiness at hearing her voice. It was like she was in the car beside him.
He pulled him into his arms and Izuku felt so loved and cared for. The opposite of how his life was for years and years.
“I’m the one who’s lucky.” Katsuki huffed before Izuku kissed him again, more passionately this time.
“‘zuku…” Katsuki said drunkenly.
“Have you ever done it, Kacchan?” Izuku questioned.
“Huh? Done what?”
“Oh… that… no…” Katsuki stuttered before looked away bashfully.
“Do you wanna try with me?” Izuku questioned seriously.
“Izuku…”
“I remembered something today!” He opened up.
“You sure?” Katsuki blushed, asking more himself than Izuku
“Of course I fucking want to but…”
“Kacchan… I’m an adult like you.” Izuku caressed his face. “And I want to know what it’s like with you and you alone… do you want to try with me?”

Katsuki walked hand in hand with Izuku back upstairs to their apartment. The door was locked and lights were off which meant the idiot brigade went home for the night. Which was a good thing because they both definitely reeked of sex.
“Thank you, Kacchan.” Izuku smiled as they walked inside their apartment.
“I really am blessed to have you in my life!”
“Right back at you.” Katsuki grunted before kissing him again and again and again and… tripping over sleeping bags?!
“Ah! You shits! What are you still doing here?!” Katsuki got up and turned on all the lights.
“Um… congratulations?!” Kaminari said nervously.
“Yeah…” Kirishima squinted at hickeys on Katsuki’s neck. “Congratulations.”

“Tomura-kun! Tomura-kun! Wake up!”
Tomura dreamt of Izuku greeting him with a huge smile.
“I made something for you! But you have to wake up for real to see it!”
“Wake up for real?” Tomura questioned.
“Mmhmm! Otherwise you’ll die!” Izuku beamed.
“Everyone evacuate to the designated are-AH!” A prison guard began to demand before he was shot in the head by another one next to him.
“Not you.” The officer in the mask pointed the gun at Tomura
“Cut the act, Dabi!” Tomura grinned widely as he recognized his voice. “What took you so damn long?!”
“I believe the word you’re looking for is thank you! Now come on! Our escape window won’t last long!”
This was wrong. Midoriya needed to be somewhere he could reset and start over!
Kirishima hated to interfere this way, but he had to! Confronting either of them wouldn’t work.
All Eijiro had to do was bring him there and explain everything!
Eijiro needed to sleep on it,

“You sure you’re alright?” Katsuki questioned in the morning as Izuku woke him up with sensual kisses
“I felt really happy last night.” Izuku whispered as he blushed. “It showed me what I needed to know.”
“That when someone actually loves you, it’s different.” He teared up.
“Hey…” Katsuki caressed his face and wiped his tears.
“I felt so treasured with you…”
Even though he felt it was all his fault, he had to forgive himself for Izuku’s sake. What Izuku needed was to feel happy and safe. If he ever decided that wasn’t with Katsuki,
“I’ll keep bringing you whatever you deserve!” He declared to him. “You’ll never feel unsafe again, ya hear?”
“Mmhmm…” Izuku nodded before resting his head in Katsuki’s chest.
“Say it again…” Izuku smiled.
“I love you, Izuku….”
Izuku kissed him and begged him to make love to him again and Katsuki was not above spoiling him. When they were done, and cleaned up, Katsuki tucked Izuku into fresh sheets while he cooked them breakfast.
Izuku was special and even more of his old safe came out when he kicked his ass in game night. It made Katsuki remember just how crazy he was about him!
As soon as it came back to life, Katsuki groaned at all of the notifications before one caught his eye
“No….” He held his mouth, trying his hardest not to scream in anger. He looked at his missed calls from Aizawa and felt his drop at his texts.
‘Shigaraki escaped.’
‘Get Midoriya out of town NOW!’
Katsuki couldn’t tell Izuku what was going on. It would freak him out and set him back! He had to get him somewhere safe and far and away from the damn internet!
“Just turned my phone on and the damn landlord needs to turn off the water for the building.” Katsuki sighed dramatically.
“Oh… should we get a hotel?” Izuku blinked.
“I have a better idea!”
“O-okay then!” Izuku felt excited and nervous about leaving his home. But he trusted Kacchan! He was sure wherever they went would be safe.
Katsuki outside to the balcony where he could keep an eye on Izuku and talk to Shoto in private.
“Bakugo?” Shoto answered immediately which made him Katsuki’s favorite person besides Izuku.
“Todoroki!” Katsuki stressed. “I need your help..”
-
-
Shoto arranged everything. He didn’t agree with Bakugo’s plan but he had no time to talk him out of it. The top priority was getting Midoriya somewhere safe. Shigaraki had deep connections. If they left in Bakugo’s car, they would be followed.
Bakugo really wanted to find Shigaraki himself.
“Todoroki? You okay in there man? You’ve been in there for a long time!” Kirishima questioned.
Shit. There was another problem.
“Alright… I’ll let your sister know what’s going on!” Kirishima chuckled nervously. Really, he listened in the second Todoroki stepped away.
Bakugo only trusted Todoroki to pick up Izuku.
So Eijiro did exactly as Shoto wanted and left with a head start to where the driver would leave the rental!

Izuku could tell something was off but he wondered if it was his anxiety playing tricks on him.
“Do we have to go on vacation?” Izuku questioned nervously. “A hotel nearby is fine.”
“You have nothing to be scared of.” Katsuki smiled at him, but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“Okinawa is far!” Izuku’s gut was telling him there was something more going on. Kacchan never dismissed his concerns like this.
“I’m sorry I can’t go on the plane with you. But I trust Todoroki with my life and you can too.”
“I don’t want to go without you! Can’t I wait at his house?”
“Alright.” Katsuki sighed. “I didn’t wanna spoil the surprise so I didn’t tell you!” He chuckled before whispering in his ear. “Toshinori Yagi is in Okinawa.”
“He’s filming a movie that’s under wraps. And guess where they’re filming?” Katsuki smirked. “The farm connected to the Todoroki estate!”
“No way! Really?! Was the water story a lie then?”
“It’s not like you to lie…” Izuku looked down at his feet. “Not even for a surprise. What’s really going on, Kacchan?”
“Bakugo.” Shoto knocked on the door. “I’m here.”
“What’s going on is I need you to get in that car. Please, Izuku.” Katsuki kissed him.
“Izuku-”
“I love you! So I know when you lie! And I can tell when you’re scared!”
Katsuki hated upsetting him but he had to trust Todoroki now…. He had a job to do. He was going to end that creep once and for all.
“You’re going to lie to me too?” Izuku questioned.
“Bakugo really will join us!” Shoto blinked, surprised by his worries.
“Damnit…” He sighed before pulling in to the nearest gas station. This was the worst timing. “Wait in here and keep the doors locked.” He instructed Izuku.
“Huh?” Izuku blinked. Why would he need a gun?! He waited uncomfortably for a couple of minutes while Todoroki went into the store. He watched the store anxiously before Kirishima walked out of it?
“Kirishima-kun! What’s going on?!” Izuku yelped.
“There’s been a change of plans! And I’m your driver now!” Eijiro turned the car back on.
“What’s happening is, we gotta go now!” Eijiro pulled out of the gas station much too quickly for Izuku’s liking.
“Why?! What about Todoroki-kun?! What about the gas?!”
“Calm down!”
“I CAN’T!”
“Does Kacchan-”
“Yeah… he planned all of this. He thought he could handle it but it’s just too soon, Midoriya!”
“He couldn’t face you after taking advantage of you last night!”
“What are you saying?!”
“He feels bad! But it was the best thing!”
“It will be okay! Where we’re going is really cool!”
“Hey… it will be okay! You know what always helps me calm down?! The radio!”
Eijiro turned it on but the station they were on was fuzzy. He fussed it with it some more before landing on a news station.
“Damnit!” Eijiro changed the station as Izuku processed what he heard.
Suddenly everything made sense… Kacchan lying… Todoroki’s urgency, maybe even Kirishima’s behavior? They were all trying to protect him from Tomura!
“Idiots…” Izuku said as a tear fell down his face.
“Huh?”
“You don’t get it….. none of you get it!” Izuku reached under the seat and pulled out the gun.
“TURN THIS CAR AROUND RIGHT NOW!” Izuku demanded.
“Midoriya! Shigaraki will-”
“Tomura-kun isn’t obsessed with ME! The person he wants above all else- The one he did all this to get to?! Is KACCHAN!”
Izuku’s words echoed in his head. He had to get this done. He had to find Tomura before the police and end his pathetic life, but he didn’t know where to start!
Same spot as it was 5 minutes ago. A damn gas station?! He hadn’t even gotten out of town yet!
Katsuki cursed to himself as he checked his service.
“Damnit, Half and Half! What’s going on?!”
A voice sent instant rage and disgust through Katsuki’s veins as the lights of his office turned on and Tomura Shigaraki was seated on his desk.
“BASTARD!” Katsuki saw red before going to tackle him when suddenly, he was stunned in the leg. “AHHH!”
“Shut up! I met him before you!” Tomura scoffed.
“DON’T YOU FUCKING TOUCH ME!” Katsuki growled before spitting at him.
“Your really are so predictable, Bakugo Katsuki.” Tomura grinned before sliding his hand down his face and licking Katsuki’s spit.
“You sick freak!” Katsuki growled.
“Don’t get it wrong.”
