Title: THE SAME DIFFRENCE #bakudeku #ktdk #bkdk (end game) Kachako...

Kachako (one sided)
CW: No quirk au, modern au, drama, child favoritism causing neglect, Manipulation, Slight homophobia, angst with a Happy Ending,
Ochako and Izuku are twins.
But even with all of that Ochako was clearly the favorite one. She always had many friends since grade school and boyfriends since high school and
Though they look alike, Izuku has his father's freckles that his father hated, so the man barely looked at him. Their mother loved how Ochako resembled her when she was younger and thinner, so the woman often doted on her like a doll.
Their parents could not be more proud of their beautiful, smart and perfect daughter.
Izuku is aware of the favoritism and that his parents didn't love him as much as they love his twin sister but he could
Ochako was always so sweet whenever she asked him to do her homework so she could go out with her friends or begged for him to pretend to be her for the exams because she felt sick. He was fine with
Now they are in their final few months of college before they graduate. Ochako is living her best life.
One day Ochako went shopping at the mall. She wanted a new dress. She is busy looking around the store when the heel of her shoe caught on
But she didn't. She didn't land on the floor, instead her back was on a solid muscular arm. She looks up to see gorgeous ruby eyes.
Platinum blonde hair. Red ruby eyes. Tall, so very tall. And that buff body couldn't be hidden by that black tight shirt.
Ochako gulps.
“Next time don't wear high heels.” He says and leaves.
“Ah. Wait.” But he was already out of the store.
Ochako realized too late that she didn't even say thank you,
She couldn't stop thinking about him on the days to come to her friends.
“Maybe it's fate.” Says Mina, always the romantic dreamer.
Fate huh?
“Ochako.” Her brother interrupted her in one of her daydreaming, which kind of irked her.
“Ummm.. there's someone I’d like you to meet.” He says in a mumble.
“Ok.”
That small reply was enough to make her two happy. Honestly it didn't take much to make Izuku happy. Such a simple guy her twin is.
So he wants to introduce her to someone. Ochako thought it was probably some nerdy friend
—
On a fine Friday afternoon, Ochako comes home.
At their front gate there's someone standing as if waiting for someone to come out. Her heart stops and her breath gets taken away.
It's this the fate Mina has been telling her all these time?
“Oh Ochako.”
That voice was very familiar.
“You're here.”
“This is my twin sister Ochako.”
It's Izuku. Her twin.
“This is the person I said I was going to introduce you to.”
They walked closer to her. So this is the person her brother was talking about.
Ochako shakes his hand. It was really big compared to hers and so warm. Regretfully, she had to let go of his hand.
“This is Bakugou Katsuki.”
Ohh that's a really manly name. It suits him so well. She likes it.
"My boyfriend."
Her eyes shot up wide.
“Huh?”
Ochako's fantasies crack into pieces.

At least that's as far as Ochako understood and cared.
She has a hard time understanding that her brother is gay.
“How long have you been together?” She asked with her mind thinking about the time he first saw Bakugou at the mall.
“Just recently actually.” Izuku blushes, fiddling with his fingers. Feeling shy.
Just recently?
“We got close just last month and well it happened pretty fast.” He laughs lightly, blushing even more.
Just last month.
She looks at Bakugou who is also looking at her. His stare makes her blush. Does he remember her that day? He must be with how intent his eyes are at her.
“Ah. I’ll go get us some snacks.” She offers, standing up and
“That man's stare is too much. Does he remember me?” She asked herself, rubbing her heated skin.
Her hands are busy but her thoughts are still in disbelief.
“Izuku is gay.” She says, pouring the tea. He never showed it.
“And of all the boys, why does it have to be my savior?” She feels so frustrated, now placing all the cups and bowl of chips on a tray.
“What was his name again? Bakugou, sounds familiar.” She mumbles. She got her phone out to search for the name on Google. As the search result comes in, she almost drops the phone.
Ochako's had to sit down on the nearest chair to get a hold of herself. She had not stopped staring, almost glaring, at her screen.
“And he is my brother's boyfriend?” She whines.
Handsome, tall and rich. An heir. It's almost like a prince in real life.
“And he’s my brother's boyfriend?” She repeats herself, still in disbelief.
“That's not fair.” She wants to cry.
“Izuku and I look alike but I'm prettier and I'm a girl.”
But what would Izuku think?
“Izuku doesn't have to know.”
If he doesn't know, it won't hurt him and if it's for his twin sister's happiness, he would understand.
But what if their parents find out?
“They’d want the best for me.”
Well this time she wants a prince.
“Oh.” Izuku stood up immediately. “Yes yes, actually we should have bought some on the way. How stupid of me.”
“Yes yes. Sorry Kacchan. I have to go out to buy some food. Can you please stay here until I get back?” Says Izuku, clasping his hands to ask his boyfriend.
“I’ll go with you.” Katsuki offers but Izuku shakes his head.
Though hesitant, Katsuki agrees.
“Damn Deku.”
Ochako heard him mutter in irritation.
So her brother calls him Kacchan, such a cutesy pet name yet Bakugou calls him Deku?
Well they did just start recently and Ochako did call dibs on Bakugou first back at the mall. She met him first.
“Hi.” Ochako started the conversation.
“Midoriya Ochako but please call me Ochako. I hope we can get to know each other well, Katsuki-kun..”
She held out her hand and smiled her prettiest smile.

(If I have missed a tag please tell me)
She must have been staring at her hand for too long that Katsuki raised a good brow at her.
“Ehem.” She clears her throat, covering her mouth with said hand as she did so to
“So, what do you do during your free time?” She tries to start a conversation. Maybe he does horseback riding or swimming. Things that prince-like-men usually do.
“Read superhero comics.”
The smile on her face freezes.
“That's very interesting.” She could only nod her head and the conversation died.
“So umm… you must be doing really well at school.
“For the family business.” Came his short reply.
“Really now. Your family must be really nice. I bet you have great parents, Katsuki-kun.” She praises them.
“Well they say I look like my mom.” It seems to be working that he finally replies to her.
“Oh I can just imagine how pretty she is then.” It was an off handed praise.
“I look like my mom too, especially when she was younger.” Ochako sat on the sofa next to him.
“We look alike.” Ochako scooted closer until her shoulders touched Katsuki's.
So she decides to go a bit more personal with the conversation.
“You know we've met before.”
“At the store in the mall.” She looks up at him too, eye to eye and very close. It feels like such an intimate scene.
“I was about to fall and you catched me.” She leans up closer to him.
“You saved me.”
“Katsuki-kun -”
“Stop.” But was met with a hand on her face.
“Huh?”
Did he just call her unattractive?
Just then the door opens. Izuku comes with snacks in hand and some drinks.
Ochako stood up immediately.
“I have homework.” She says, walking past him then running up to her room upstairs.
“Oh.” Izuku sat back on the sofa feeling confused that Ochako wanted to do her homework herself.
“Nah. She wanted to show your family photo.” Says Katsuki casually.
They were drinking their soda when the door opened once again. Izuku's parents arrive.
“Oh what's this? A visitor. Are Ochako's classmate?” Says Inko upon seeing Katsuki.
“A classmate?” Hasashi walks beside her.
Katsuki stood up and bowed politely at them.
“It's a pleasure to meet you.” Katsuki was also very polite in greeting them but now comes the truth they have to reveal.
“He’s my boyfriend.”
“Boyfriend? Izuku, you have a boyfriend? But- but you told us.”
Hasashi didn't say a word. He just stared intently at them.
“I'm sorry if this comes off suddenly but I'm very serious about your son.” Stated Katsuki and bowed at them again.
“Thank you mom and dad.” Izuku feels relieved. He had been dreading this day but everything seemed to turn out all right.
“Thank you ma'am, sir.” Says Katsuki stiffly but Izuku can see how his shoulders relax now.
“I'm sorry I have to cut the meeting short but I have to go to meet my parents.” He has to go to the office.
“I hope we can meet again. Thank you for having me.”
Izuku accompanied him out to his car leaving Inko and Hisashi alone.
His parents looked at each other clearly not exactly comfortable with their son being gay and having a boyfriend.
“Yes but his boyfriend is a Bakugou. They are rich, Hisashi. We can be part of that family. Imagine being part of high society.” Offered Inko.
“Is it even worth it if people start talking that we have a gay son?” Hisashi still is not convinced.
“Are they gone?” Ochako comes down the stairs, her eyes are puffy.
“My princes what happened.” Inko scooted over so Ochako could sit between them.
“Mom dad. Am I ugly?” She cries again making her parents worry.
Ochako is still crying and doesn't seem convinced. She's just like her father in that aspect.
“What wrong sweetheart?” Hisashi asked her.
Oh. They now understood that Ochako must have met Bakugou earlier already.
“Well my princess, some men are just gay-”
“Huh?” Both women looked at him confused.
“I think that Katsuki must have been confused and thought Izuku is a girl because he does look girly. But you. You're a real girl.”
“Hizashi what are you saying?” Whispered Inko to her husband when she leaned close to him.
“Hush I'm trying to hit two birds with one stone.” He replies to her.
“Ohhh.”
“We will help you. Right Inko.”
Inko brightened up. She too understood what he meant.
“Yes yes. We will.” She giddily replied.
“Mom. Dad. Really?”
“Of course Sweetie. You are our beautiful daughter after all.”
He silently goes up to his room, not wanting to disturb them.
He got to his room and lay down on his bed feeling his body suddenly heavy.
His phone rings. It was from Kacchan.
[Kacchan: Just got to the office.]
[Deku: I just got into bed.] He replied to Kacchan.
Izuku's face went from pink to bright red in a second.
[Deku: Kacchan! (>/////< " ) ]
[Kacchan: I miss you.]
Izuku stares at the reply. It was short. Just three words but it was enough to make him forget the heaviness in his chest and
“I miss you too.”
There is a nock on his door.
It's his mother.
“Mom, do you need anything?” Asked Izuku.
Inko stays by the door.
Izuku stood up from his bed. Like a small child that's offered a toy, he became happy and excited.
“Really mom?”
“Of course. Let's have dinner together and have a great time.” Inko left right after.
Izuku messaged Kacchan about it. He feels ecstatic.
Perhaps maybe things are finally turning around for him.
“I'll make sure things will turn around in my favor this weekend.”

It’s sports play day for the kindergarteners and Izuku wanted to show mama his ball throwing skills. He had practiced for days in secret and he really wanted to show it to mama.
He searched everywhere until finally he found mama under the shade of the big tree. Izuku ran towards her, excited and giddy but his small feet tripped on a rock making him fall on the gravel ground.
Fat tears pour down his dusty face. He cries.
“Ouchie!”
He had scraped his knees.
“Mama!” He cried for mama, he needed mama, but mama didn't hear him because
“The ball was too heavy!” Ochako showed mama her hand.
“Oh my poor sweet girl.” And there was papa right beside her. Papa, who told him he will not skip work just to watch him throw a ball, is there brushing off the dirt from Ochako's hand.
“Pain, pain go away. Don't come again another day.”
“Pain, pain go away…”
He just looks from afar.
“... Don't come again another day.”
As he watches his parents hug his sister.
-
-
-
“I'll be going now.”
“Izuku wait.”
He stops in his tracks and looks back. His father walks over to him from the stairs. He felt his heart skip because it's been a while since he's been this close to his dad.
“Yes dad?”
“You're going to buy some study books right?”
Izuku nodded.
“Bring Ochako with you. She also needs some materials for her finals.”
“Ummm…” Izuku hesitated.
“This is a good time for your sister to get to know your boyfriend better.” He said kindly and smiled at him. This was the first time his father ever smiled directly towards him.
“Isn't that right?”
“My son.” And called him a name that made his heart swell.
“Yeah… of course dad! You're right.” It made Izuku so happy and filled with joy that he instantly agreed.
“That's my boy.”
/My boy./
His father had acknowledged him.
Katsuki is about glare holes on a poster about metaphysics when a dainty voice calls to him.
“Bakugou-kun.”
It was a change in the way he calls him, even her tone was different. So Katsuki turns to her, still frowning.
“I’m sorry for the way I acted before. I didn't mean anything with what I did. I'm sorry if it made a bad impression.” She stands up straight again. Her expression is so serious that she almost looks exactly like Deku.
Katsuki thinks twice but the mention of it being for Deku's sake mattered to him.
This is for Deku, he thought.
Izuku saw his sister and boyfriend shaking hands.
Today has been a good day.
-
-
-
“Arg this is so boring! Just tell me what this is about.” Ochako complains, throwing the comic book down the floor while she stays on Izuku's bed. She doesn't have any patience sometimes though but at least she's trying, right?
-
-
Izuku's parents started to talk to him during dinner as of late. They start up conversations about his day and how he and Kacchan are doing.
He stutters while talking to them about what they have been up to.
“So you haven't introduced yourself to his parents yet?” Asked his mom over the dinner table on a Wednesday night as his father and sister listened.
“Oh that's nice. Good luck, Izuku.”
Izuku blushes to his mother cheering him on and to the smiles of approval from his father and sister.
-
-
For the past few days Ochako has been hanging out with him and Deku at the university during any free time they have. She can converse about superhero comics now, unlike before that she had nothing to say.
“You know what Kacchan. I'm so happy. My sister is interested in the things I like. My parents ask about me and you all the time.
Deku's smile is bright and hopeful, Katsuki doesn't have the heart to ruin that hope.
He couldn't never dare wipe that smile off of him.
“Nah what are you talking about. That mushy stuff. It's all you damn nerd.”
Katsuki hugs him and Deku laughs within his arms. He can't do anything as of now.
Yet Katsuki can't shake the heavy feeling.
-
-
-
“Are you ready?” Kacchan asked him as they were about to enter the fancy restaurant.
Izuku breathed in hard then exhaled. He nodded but in truth he is nervous as hell.
Katsuki held Izuku's hand to give it a firm squeeze; a sign of support and encouragement. Izuku squeezes back in silent thanks.
They walk through the door and Izuku sees seated at a table a man and woman in simple yet elegant clothes. One brunette and one blonde, Kacchan's father and mother.
“Let’s go Deku.” Kacchan leads him to them.
“Izuku?”
But Izuku and Katsuki halted.
“Ochako?”

There was his twin sister with her hair tied in a half ponytail, a simple wrap around blue dress with white polka dots and white ballet flat sandals adorn her feet.
Izuku noted how he never saw his sister wear something like this before or how light her makeup is but
“Izuku, Katsuki.” Masaru spoke from the table, Kacchan's father in his brown polo shirt called to them, grabbing their attention.
“Masaru-san, Mitsuki-san.” Izuku bows politely to them.
They smiled at him and gestured for them to come and sit.
“I'm so sorry to have bothered you.” Ochako bows to them and when she stands up she is very prim and proper.
“Midoriya Ochako. I'm Izuku's twin.”
“Oh yes I do believe Izuku has mentioned you before.” Mitsuki says.
“Well yes. Again I'm so sorry to have bothered everyone. I was just about to meet a friend but they couldn't come at the last minute. I had no idea my brother would be here.”
Izuku suddenly felt bad for her. He knows how much his sister hates getting ghosted.
“I will take my leave now.” She bows briefly and opted to walk to the door.
“No no. Please stay. You're already here. Come, have tea with us.”
“I don't want to bother.” She hesitated but even Izuku smiled at her and nodded that it was ok.
Even Masaru nodded to her in a kind gesture.
“Oh thank you.” So Ochako sat on a chair right to Mitsuki at a round table.
Izuku sat next to Masaru while Kacchan had to sit next to Ochako while Izuku was on his other side.
Kacchan pours him some tea, careful to place the right amount of cream and sugar. Then served him a sandwich and one of each of the petit fours.
“Thank you.” He says gratefully.
Kacchan relaxed his face then went on to prepare his own tea.
“That's the wrong way to hold it dummy.” Kacchan took the teapot and held it properly.
“You're not supposed to hold the belly of the pot, so of course it's hot.
Ochako pouted at him.
“I'm not used to it, ok. I spend my time studying with a bottle of soda than tea. Sorry.” She defended herself but still said thank you to him.
“Whatever.” Kacchan grunted.
“Women.” Katsuki almost sneered.
“That's right, women.” Added his mother.
“We can be very sensitive, you know.” She joked.
Masaru and Mitsuki burst into laughter with Ochako while Kacchan told them to shut up with a roll of his eyes.
He watches as his boyfriend interacts with his parents with Ochako. He felt like he was watching a scene from a movie of a perfect family. Ochako looked like she belonged.
Like she always did.
He felt so far away.
“So why did you invite us over for an afternoon snack?” Says Mitsuki. She held her tea cup on the table and waited.
“Ah well.” Started Izuku tentatively.
Izuku felt a warm hand hold his cold one under the table. Kacchan held him.
Ochako frowned at Izuku then shook her head ever so slightly.
All at once he froze, cold sweat poured out of him as his heart hit his chest much too hard.
A memory of the past flashes in his vision.
//“It's your fault for being so selfish.”//
“Kacchan will be having dinner with my parents tomorrow night. Is it ok if he comes home late?”
He might have said it too fast but he hoped his voice was calm and it didn't shake because his hands were.
“Yes, my parents invited him over to get to know him more.” Happily Ochako tells them. Gone is her frown, replaced by a bright smile.
“Goodness. Of course of course. You can even stay the night.” Mitsuki tells her son. She seemed to be happy at this news.
“You should have told us sooner. You must bring flowers and gifts. Did you?
“Calm down dear. We can always buy some after we're done here.” He said to her and took a sip of his tea.
“Mr. And Mr. Bakugou are more excited than Katsuki is.” Commented Ochako.
He mouthed ‘I’m sorry’ without sound to him and then held his hand again.
‘It’s ok.’ Kacchan mouthed back and squeezed his hand, silently telling him he understands.
Ochako was holding a nice scarf she wanted to show to Mitsuki but she got pulled to the side, the scarf fell on the floor.
“Don't say anything. I don't care what your excuses are.” Katsuki towers over her.
“But next time. Do shit again next time and you're in trouble.”
Katsuki glares at her one last time before heading back to where Izuku and his parents are.
“I'm sorry for being sudden but my friend called me and wants to meet up again.” She bows to them. “Thank you for having me. I had a wonderful time.”
“I see. Well thank you as well and be careful.” Says Mitsuki.
“It was nice meeting Izuku's sister.” Says Masaru.
“Izuku comes home safely.” She tells her brother then faces Katsuki.
“Katsuki-kun, see you tomorrow.”
She bows again then leaves. She didn't wait for Izuku or Katsuki to reply but she can hear her brother telling her to take care.
Ochako walks away. She remembers how Katsuki had treated her. This was the second time she had felt absolutely shamed and rejected but she can't stop now. She has to do this for her brother and her family.

The next night, the Midoriya household is very busy. Inko wanted to cook but Hisashi says he can't risk it and just order instead. So Inko placed the ordered food in their finest tableware.
By the time Kacchan arrived everything was ready.
“Kacchan.” Izuku welcomes his boyfriend by the door. He looked very handsome in a black turtleneck long sleeves and gray pants.
“Kacchan!” He warned him with a pout.
“Nobody saw, nerd.” Kacchan teases. They walked inside where, by the living room, Izuku's parents greeted him.
“Katsuki, welcome.” His mother says.
“Thank you for having me again in your home.” Katsuki bows and gives the gifts in paper bags to them.
His parents looked pleased. They were no flowers because Kacchan was adamant in saying,
/’I'll only give my boyfriend flowers!’/
“Ochako will be down in a moment. Why don't we have dinner already? I cooked a lot.” Inko lies but Izuku doesn't say anything. He knows his mother just wants it to be perfect.
They sat at the table with one chair empty.
She greeted them and ate herself.
Though they made him go out every now and then to buy something they forgot but it happens.
He feels so happy.
“Why don't we celebrate this night? Let me get something to drink.” His father brought out a bottle of whiskey.
“To a good union!” He raises his glass and everyone raises theirs too.
Izuku drinks down his juice, his happiness is overflowing.
“I feel so blessed.” He says to himself.
The night went on and before Katsuki knew it all the whisky was gone. He drank a lot and he doesn't really drink much to begin with.
“Just stay the night my boy. I'm sure your parents don't mind.” Decided Hisashi.
Katsuki could only nod because he was feeling very dizzy.
“I’ll take him to the extra room to sleep.” Hisashi helped him up.
“You help your mom clean up with Ochako.” His father tells him.
Izuku couldn't say no to his father. He will just have to check on Kacchan once they are done cleaning.
“Izuku, dear we ran out of the dish shop. Please go out to buy some at the conbini.”
“Ok mom.”
When Izuku was out, Inko sighs.
“Why didn't you talk to Katsuki for the whole night? We gave you all the opportunity while Izuku was away and
They had Izuku go out to do errands so Ochako could talk to Katsuki yet she didn't and she wore such ugly clothes, almost the same as the ones Izuku usually wears.
“Trust me mom.” Says Ochako.
Hisashi came back from upstairs.
“He’s drunk.” He says.
“I’ll go and give him some water.” Ochako got a glass of cold water and went upstairs.
“Good girl.” Inko sees that her daughter hasn't given up.
“I'll wait for Izuku outside to distract him.” Said Hasashi and went towards the front door.
Ochako hurried upstairs towards the extra room where Katsuki is lying down.
Ochako picked up the glass of water and went inside the semi dark room.
