"Okay, let's start over, shall we?" Wei-laoshi smiles gently at them. "I'm Wei Wuxian, your wei-laoshi, your wei-gege. I'm very nice and i absolutely do not torture little kids, and this," he puts a hand on a-yuan's shoulder, "is my son, a-yuan."

"Okay, now that you know i'm the fun teacher, i gotta warn you." He lowers his voice (aww man, here we go again, jingyi thinks) and leans closer to them. "The real meanie is the music teacher. You better know your Beethoven before you go meet lan-laoshi"

Everybody starts fretting again, but jingyi relaxes. He won't be made a fool twice, he totally caught wei-laoshi winking at a-yuan. Lan-laoshi must be a-yuan's other dad.
