It's not anti-semitic to point out how powerful the Rothschilds were in the 19th century. They aren't representative of Jews in general-- they are a specific lineage of Financial Nobility whose allies were not "jewry" but the Capital of the Hereditary Aristocracy in the Peerage.

To take reference to a jewish banking lineage as anti-semitism is to suggest that one jew represents all jews-- it's absurd. Their "jewishness" is completely trivial-- it's not like it informed their practices in the world-- they were Victorian Capitalists. They were "modern."
