It's funny how Science (tm) people promote Science as "always improving, always incomplete" but also have a dogmatic stance toward "the consensus view"-- which is the opposite of science. A "Scientific Establishment" is an oxymoron.

True Scientists are the ones who understand "science" as nothing but a tool-- a very limited scope of inquiry & proof-- without denying that many truths lay outside of this scope. There is more humility in this position as well. It is also older position.

The irony of science being able to prove that "it can prove anything"-- same infinite regression found in fundamental mathematics by people like Godel & Wittgenstein in the 20th century happened in the physics as well-- but materialist-atheists hold out for "universal system"

It's so silly that we consider people who know the chemical reasons why lime is good for crops (despite people knowing this for millennia by other means) superior-- as if we are enriched by knowing salt is "NaCl" & sacrificing the humanities for this sort of education lol

It's really Kali Yuga, we've known this for so long, but still-- the thought recurs-- due to this fundamental obsession with material quantities, finding this obsession to be the main "quality" of the age, etc.
