“GET OUT!”
Mina threw her shoe at him and Eijiro realized his marriage was over. He didn’t know what he did to deserve this. He came home early from a mission and caught his wife in bed with someone else.
“Look how happy they are.” She cried to Ochaco.
“I’m so happy for them!” Ochaco cried too.
“I wish I had what they did…” Mina said out loud so casually as if Ei wasn’t right next to her! “Look at the way they look at each other! /That’s/ what love looks like!”
“Hey.” Ei played it off like she was telling a joke. “I look at you that way!”
“I don’t think anyone can match their passion to be fair.” Ochaco tried to help.
After an hour, he went outside to look for her and he couldn’t find her.
“Kirishima-kun?” Izuku approached him with two wine glasses in his hand. “Thank you for coming!”
“Thank you! This really is a dream come true! I still have to pinch myself every five minutes! We have all of you to thank to be honest.” Izuku smiled sweetly.
“That’s who I’m out here looking for!”
They really were happy. So why weren’t him and Mina?
How long had she been seeing that guy?! Eijiro didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know where to go! He walked aimlessly into the night, sobbing as reality set in.
“Shitty Hair?”
Eijiro looked up to see Bakugo in full hero costume standing on top of a street light.
“Was all that crying I heard you?!”
“Ah shit… come on… before some reporter leeches this!” Katsuki quickly escorted him to his and Midoriya’s spacious home.
“Who’s here?!” Izuku quickly rushed down the stairs wearing All Might pajamas. His hair was pushed back with a red white and blue head band and he was drying his face with a towel. “Kirishima-kun?! Are you okay?”
After Izuku made them all tea, Eijiro poured his heart out to his two friends. All his feelings of frustration and inadequacy and the deep hurt he felt. He never wanted to trash Mina but… it hurt!
“You guys have no idea how good you have it!”
“I would have killed that bastard!” Katsuki seethed.
“I don’t even know who the guy is! I didn’t get a good look at him!”
“It’s not your fault Pinky didn’t take marriage seriously!” Katsuki said in disgust. “If she had an issue she should have just talked to you!”
“She tried! But nothing I did made it better!”
“Yeah… thanks for listening.. sorry for intruding in your happy home with my mess!” Ei cried. “I should probably go find a hotel now…”
“No! Stay here! We have a guest room!”
“I really can’t impose! Thanks for the offer.” Eijiro stood up.
“Sit down, Kirishima!” Katsuki demanded. “Stay with us till you find a place. No use sending you to cry all over the streets! Besides, you’ll be doing me a favor.” He squeezed Izuku’s hand.
“I.. You can count on me to keep him safe! Thanks you guys! Thank you so much!” Eijiro bowed.
“We’re happy to help!”
Living with Bakugo and Midoriya was nice. Eijiro and Katsuki took opposite shifts but they still all managed to eat dinner together. As he tried to process the pain of losing Mina and sorting out how to legally separate without becoming a tabloid frenzy,
Eijiro also wanted that for himself and while he wanted it with Mina, he had to accept that they just weren’t meant to be!
He was nervous going there to negotiate the terms of their separation and when he saw her, he almost fell apart. He didn’t know how to act!
“I get it now.” Eijiro sighed.
“Huh?”
“I’ve been staying with Midoriya and Bakugo and… you were right. I didn’t love you like you deserved!”
“But… did I really deserve to be dumped like that?!” Eijiro questioned.
“No, of course you didn’t deserve it! I don’t know what I was thinking! I just wanted to be free! I’m sorry!” Mina explained before pulling out the papers in her bag.
“I can’t do it!” Panic suddenly welled in Eijiro’s heart as he glanced at the word ‘divorce’ on the papers. “I… I’m sorry! This was too soon!” He ran out of the office as fast as he could.
“EI! WAIT! EI!” Mina called but he couldn’t stop for her!
Eijiro arrived home and quickly wiped his tears before quietly entering the front door.
“Huh?” Panic set in as he looked at the time. Bakugo was on shift! Shit! Eijiro rushed up the stairs and paused as he peeked in their bedroom.
Shit! He needed to walk away.
“Ah! Ka-cchan… ah.. slower…” Izuku looked… beautiful as he was splayed across their bad. His freckles colored in a burning red blush.
Shit. He felt himself get hard as he couldn’t keep his eyes off his face while Bakugo did as he instructed!
“Sorry… I haven’t had you to myself ages!”
Mina had never looked at Eijiro that way. Ei had never seen someone so perfect. So… he looked down and realized he was stroking himself. Shit! This was wrong!
He felt ashamed himself as he cleaned himself up in the bathroom. He tiptoed to the kitchen to get himself a glass of water when to his horror, his two friends had the same exact idea!
“Kirishima-kun?! When did you get home?”
“Oh! Just now!” Eijiro lied as he cleared his throat. “It was a… rough time signing those papers! I think I’m going to lie down…”
He waved as he walked away as slowly and awkwardly as he could.
“I feel bad.” Izuku whispered to his husband. “It’s obvious what we did!”
“But on the day of his divorce? Maybe we should have waited…”
“He just got home! It’s not like he heard it!” Katsuki rolled his eyes.
“Kacchan. We definitely can’t go for round two. It’s rude.” Izuku giggled.
“What’s rude is you walking around like that and pushing me away.” Katsuki huffed.
“Shh. Shh. I’m hungry!”
“So am I!” He spread his legs.
“Fine fine. Katsudon?”
“I love you….”
Eijiro couldn’t stop seeing it. Every time he closed his eyes, Midoriya’s face was crystal clear. This was bad!
“Stop stop stop!” Eijiro covered his ears as tears prickled in his eyes.
Bakugo was his friend! His dear friend! He couldn’t look at his husband that way! It wasn’t manly!
He was woken up by a knock on his door.
“Kirishima-kun?!” Izuku questioned.
Eijiro tried to calm his heart.
“Um… Kacchan got called in for an emergency across town.” He informed him.
Eijiro quickly got up at that and opened the door.
“Is everything okay?”
“Thank you, man.. you guys have done a lot for me…” He avoided eye contact.
“Do you want to watch a movie?”
Eijiro tried to be normal and accepted his offer! But as they sat next to each other on the couch,
“Sorry Midoriya!” He turned off the movie.
Izuku sulked the rest of the week as things didn’t get any better with Kirishima. Izuku understood he was going through a hard time, but… he couldn’t help but wonder if he was mad at him specifically.
“I think I upset him somehow…” Izuku grumbled.
“Who? Shitty hair?” Katsuki raised his brow.
“Do you notice it? He doesn’t really talk directly to me or look at me!”
“My hair?” Izuku tilted his head as his husband twirled one of his long curls.
“It’s the same as hers. It probably brings him pain or whatever. I know if I ever lost you, Pinky would have to stay the fuck away from me!” Katsuki shrugged
“Don’t you dare!” Katsuki growled as he pulled on it playfully.
“Ah! Kacchan!”
“What else am I supposed to grab onto while I fuck you silly, huh?” He pushed it back and kissed his forehead sweetly.
Ei woke up in the morning feeling like shit. He still couldn’t get Midoriya out of his mind and it made it hard to sleep. All he did was dream of him.
“Morning Baku-”
“What’s the deal with you and Izuku?!” Katsuki questioned immediately.
“Huh? Wh-what do you mean?!” Eijiro stammered. “Did he say something?!” Could he tell?
“Nothing’s the deal! I…” Eijiro didn’t know how to explain himself. “I’ll apologize to him if I’ve been weird! I just.. miss Mina, I guess.” He lied.
“I know he’s not! I’ll be better! Thanks for pointing it out.” Eijiro sighed.
After the exchange with Bakugo, Kirishima felt worse. Midoriya obviously noticed how weird he’s been! He needed to make it right!
“Coming.” Izuku opened it and Ei instinctively looked away before forcing himself to meet his eyes.
“Uh… do you want to grab lunch or something?”
“That sounds nice!” Izuku beamed. “Let me just get dressed!”
“Are you okay out there?” Izuku suddenly froze as Eijiro slapped his own mouth shut.
Oh no! He was panting that loud!
“KIRISHIMA-KUN! WAIT!”
He ran and ran before he could stop himself, he was in front of his old house.
“Ei?” Mina opened the door carefully before he grabbed her face and kissed her with everything he had.
“I don’t want to lose you! I love you! Please! Stay with me!” He begged.
“I forgive you, baby! Let me show you!” He grabbed a fistful of her hair before carrying her to their bedroom and pretending she was Midoriya until the sun went down.
“I’m glad everything worked out?” Izuku smiled tensely as Katsuki grunted in disapproval. He hoped Mina sincerely changed!
“If she does it again, don’t be surprised if she goes missing!” Katsuki threatened.
“Murder’s always the answer for you, huh?” Ei sighed fondly.
“Hopefully it won’t come to that.” Izuku chimed in.
“Do you think it’s a good thing they’re back together?” Izuku asked his husband
“This doesn’t feel like a happy ending.” Izuku sulked. “I can’t help but feel he went back to her to get away from me!”
“You’re overthinking as always!” Katsuki put his arm around him.
Izuku held onto that reassurance but two months had passed and they hadn’t heard from him at all!
Uraraka had invited him out with some friends and Izuku was happy he got to see Ashido! He hadn’t talked to her at all since they almost divorced!
“Oh I both of you to thank for that!” Mina threw her arms around Izuku.
“Both of us?” He questioned.
“Thank you for watching Ei for me…”
“You should probably tell Midoriya the truth so he doesn’t think too badly of you!” Jiro sighed.
“Do you think badly of me?” Mina gasped.
“Don’t worry! I’m not so tacky as to cheat!” Mina assured him. “It was Toga with me!”
“Huh?!”
“Sometimes talking about splitting up makes a couple decided even more to stay together!” Momo chimed in.
“And it worked!” Mina giggled excitedly. “Our relationship is amazing and the sex, Midoriya! The sex! At least three times a day!”
“Look, you may not get it because you’re married to the most passionate hunk of meat from our class!”
“Hunk of meat?!”
“Some men just need a little push!”
“I guess if you two are happy now and you didn’t actually betray him then… it’s a good thing?” Izuku said dizzily.
Izuku enjoyed the rest of the night with the girls and hoped that meant there was nothing wrong despite the sinking feeling had.
“Uraraka! Make us float home!” Jiro drunkenly demanded when Izuku’s phone rang.
“Midoriya! Come pick up Bakugo! Hurry!” Denki demanded.
“Pick him up?! I thought he wasn’t going out tonight!” Izuku sighed. Kacchan couldn’t handle his alcohol since he drank so little.
“WHAT IF HE ACTUALLY JUMPED?!”
“How fast can you get to Shibuya?!”
When he arrived at the bar, Kacchan was asleep on the floor while the guys were playing card games.
“Midoriya! You made it!” Denki grinned.
“You called him?” Eijiro asked nervously.
Eijiro looked away from the couple and hoped Midoriya would be too distracted with Bakugo to try and approach him or make conversation! It was too shameful… he thought of him too much
“What’re you doinhere….” He slurred.
“Taking you home!” Izuku chirped sweetly as that pretty blush creeped on his face. It wasn’t bad to stare at him now… right? He was breathtaking as always…
“Yes you do, Kacchan! We have the best home! Come on!” Izuku picked him up like it was nothing and hoisted the much larger man over his shoulder.
“Come on, Kirishima!” Sero shoved him. “Go help Midoriya get him home!”
“Huh?! Why me?!” Eijiro felt his stomach twist.
“He needs some manly protection!” Sero pumped his fist. “And you drank the least! Go!”
“See? He’s okay!” Eijiro nervously smiled.
“I’ll go.”
“Kirishima! Midoriya is going to have to carry both of them! Come on!” Sero pushed.
“THEN YOU GO!” Ei insisted far too angrily and loudly to not be personal.
Despite not having a quirk, he was still strong and agile.
“What the hell’s your problem?” Kaminari grumbled as he helped Shoto up. “You avoided Bakugo all night and probably hurt Midoriya’s feelings just now!”
“I’ll apologize later! I’m going home!” Eijiro felt awful as he stumbled home. If only he never ran away from the attorneys office so early. If only he never saw Midoriya in that position…
“Ei… do you want me to make you some tea?” He would ask with that sweet voice…
“Stop! Kacchan’s upstairs.”
“He never has to know…”
Eijiro couldn’t help himself as he ran into the nearest alley and relieved himself while he pictured it…
Fuck, this was so wrong! But it was okay! Because it was just his imagination! It didn’t hurt anyone. Not a soul would know!
Katsuki didn’t care too much for drama. The ones who had a problem with him, stayed away from him! And the people he had life long friendships knew that the best way to tackle any issues was to come right out and say it!
Every hero in that region was called for a mass arrest of a rising gang.
“They’ll all end up arresting you if that’s the case!” Izuku laughed. “Maybe we should just accept for whatever reason… he doesn’t want to be our friend anymore.” He grumbled sadly.
“I still feel like it’s my fault somehow… I’m sorry Kacchan. I don’t know what I did but… I hope he can forgive me one day.” Izuku sighed before Katsuki grabbed his face and kissed him.
Izuku lovingly caressed Katsuki’s face as he realized there was not a minute longer he could possibly be sad as long as he had him. “Stay safe out there for me?”
“Heh. As if anyone can even touch me.” Katsuki gloated.
“Hey. Bakugo?”
“What? Suddenly I’m good enough to talk to again?!” Katsuki seethed bitterly.
“I know… I’ve been a jerk! To both you and Midoriya! I’m sorry!”
Katsuki looked at him before clicking his tongue. “You better come by and apologize to Izuku when this is done”
He always did when he was a hero! The group they were assigned to arrest were at a normal high school in the teachers lounge.
“That’s the last class!” Shinso informed them through the coms.
“There was a gym?” Shinso question.
“It looks like it! In that building farthest from the gate!”
“We inspected it already! It’s been abandoned!” YaoMomo informed them.
“A perfect place for a delinquent to hide out!”
“Got it!”
Eijiro took a deep breath as he headed for the building. He hoped it was no one. But he had a feeling there was someone there!
“He’s not lying!” A girl with pink hair in a tight ponytail said excitedly. “It’s really Red Riot!” She was holding a cigarette, clearly cutting class.
“Pretty hard! I’ll show you as long as you and your friends evacuate!” He insisted.
“Are you going to arrest Shoyu-Sensei? He creeps on the girls!”
“We’re here to stop some really bad guys infiltrating your school! Believe me! You don’t want to be caught up in this! I won’t tell anyone where you’ve been! But you gotta evacuate!” Eijiro insisted.
He suddenly heard Bakugo’s explosion.
“RUN! Kids!”
“Relax, Red Riot.” The principal cracked his neck.
“Your quirk?!” Eijiro didn’t realize it, but his eyes glowed red too.
No.
No.
No!
“Your body won’t be able to stop until you’ve done it.”
This was bad! His feet moved before he could stop them. Before he knew it, he was running as fast he could toward Midoriya and Bakugo’s house.
He oversaw all student internships, and work studies.
Izuku still worried about his friends and husband. Kacchan was the number one hero. He would be fine in any case, but it was the reality for all heroes.
He wore a long shirt that said ‘cleaning shirt’ and an apron along with long socks and his cleaning slippers.
Izuku had to have hope that everything would be okay. His thoughts were interrupted by a key turning in his door.
“Kacchan?!”
“Kirishima-kun?! Is everything okay?!”
“RUN! MIDORIYA! PLEASE!”
“I can’t stop”
“Is this a quirk?! Like Shinso-runs? What’s going on?” Izuku tried to understand what was happening as he also tried to process the risk. Was he being controlled by someone who wanted him dead?
“I’m sorry… I’m sorry! You were never supposed to know!” Eijiro sobbed.
“I’m… sorry…” Eijiro panted. “It’s a quirk…”
“Your biggest desire?!” Izuku was still confused. “What does that have to do-”
“Because you’re amazing…. The way you are for Bakugo… I want you like that!”
Izuku tried to think of what he could do.
“Please! There has to be a weakness to the villain’s quirk!”
“I… tried everything to stop myself before I got here! I won’t stop until I fulfill this!” He shuddered before throwing Izuku over his shoulder.
“Calling: Great Explosion Murder God DynaMight!” Melody announced before Eijiro made his arm as hard as a rock and broke the system.
“Really?! It makes you do that too?!”
“WAIT!” Izuku shrieked as panic soared through him. “At least do it in the guest room! Not Kacchan’s bed! Please!” He begged.
“AHH!”
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Please stop fighting it! My body won’t stop hurting you!”
“I’m sorry, Kacchan…”
“Why are you apologizing to me?!” Eijiro felt his heart break at the sound.
“If I had One for All, I could stop you! If I wasn’t quirkless, I could…”
Eijiro realized at that moment, that this wasn’t what he wanted at all…
“Stop… Stop… YOU WILL STOP!” He the whacked himself in the head as hard as he could, and felt the world go black as he fell to the floor.
Izuku didn’t realize what happened as he tried to prepare for what was to come
“A school! Two banks. And a government office! The heroes successfully performed a mass-”
Izuku peaked from his hands and noticed Kirishima was no longer over him. He sat up and found him on the floor, unconscious.
“Kiri-shima-kun?” He said shakily.

Katsuki was exhausted after a long day of wrangling villains. They got the ones at the school quickly enough but he was number one hero,
“DRINKS!” Hanta cheered.
“It means I’m going the fuck home!” Katsuki grunted before grabbing his phone from his bag.
“Don’t take my husband away from my house!” Katsuki yelled before seeing a notification on his phone that made him freeze.
‘1 Missed Call. Melody Security.’
“Let’s pick a bar before I call him!” Mina smiled.
“Invite Uraraka too!”
“Have her bring Himiko! She can look like the bartender and get us extra drinks!”
“We’re heroes!”
“I GOTTA GO! GET OUT OF HERE!” Katsuki panicked before using his quirk to get home as fast as he possibly could.
Shit shit shit shit!
He could hear his heart beat wildly as he landed to the entrance of his house and kicked the door open.
“IZUKU!”
“Kacchan. Welcome home!” Izuku walked down the stairs in his pajamas with a smile.
“I got a call from the security thing…” Katsuki said steadily as he calmed down the closer Izuku got to him.
“Oh! It started malfunctioning!”
“What happened to you?!” Katsuki noticed bandages around Izuku’s wrist and bandaids on his neck.
“Hey… what’re you crying for?” Katsuki gently kissed his head as his husband tried to pull himself together but couldn’t.
“I’m just glad you made it home…”
So what was he lying about tonight and why?! Katsuki would normally call him out, but he had a feeling if he did, his husband would fall apart even more.
-
-
Three days had passed since Katsuki came home from arresting those villains and Izuku’s mood improved slightly. He had to ask him because if he didn’t do it now, his husband was bound to implode somewhere down the line! He allowed it long enough.
“Any idiot knows that.” Katsuki hovered behind him as he poured the oil.
“So why are you treating me like a fool?” Katsuki put his arm around his stomach and kissed his temple slowly.
“I don’t know what you mean…” Izuku tensed up.
Izuku froze as Katsuki slowly moved his hand toward one of the bandaids on his neck.
“Don’t.”
“Why?”
“Please….”
“Izuku.”
“Kacchan!”
The two looked into each other’s eyes fiercely before Katsuki’s phone rang.
Without breaking eye contact, Katsuki answered his phone. It was Pinky. “What do you want?!”
“Bakugo… it’s awful!”
“What?!”
“It’s Ei! He never came home after the mission! No one knows where he is! He’s completely missing! I’m so scared! I need everyone’s help!”
Izuku gasped as he dropped the egg he was holding into the pan. Shell and all.
“What if something terrible happened to him?!” She sobbed. “I never even got to tell him the truth!”
“We could also ask the brats who tipped us off about the principal.” Katsuki chimed in. “They should have seen him!”
“You know how it is sometimes with hero work.” Jiro supplied. “Sometimes you run into a villain and uncover something that takes more time to tackle!”
“He must have at some point!” Sato sighed.
“But what reason would he have for going off the map like that?!” Denki asked exasperatedly.
Izuku stood in silence as his former classmates brainstormed.
Izuku was the last one to see Kirishima alive… he had the answers everyone was seeking but… he couldn’t bring himself to tell anyone the truth. He didn’t even know where to start.
If they kept it only between them then they could just pretend it never happened! Izuku still wasn’t sure why his deepest desire was to be with him,
It wasn’t fair to hold it against Kirishima… and it wasn’t fair to punish him.
After making sure his house was once again spotless, he walked upstairs, hoping to carry Kirishima to the guest room.
Why?
Why him?
Why did he want to do that him?
Izuku felt his anxiety get worse the closer he got to him. He reached for him and felt sudden terror as he stirred awake.
“Ah!” Izuku couldn’t help but back up as far as he could. He didn’t know if the quirk was still in effect!
“IZUKU!”
“I- won’t tell him.” He whispered to Kirishima as his lip trembled. “It’s okay… You just came for a visit, right?” He opened his door slightly and peaked out and when he looked back, Kirishima was gone.
He didn’t know where Kirishima went. All this time, he thought he went home. The guilt must have eaten away at him and caused him to run away. Izuku felt awful about how he reacted!
“Midoriya! Hello?” Kaminari snapped his fingers in front of his face.
“Huh?” Izuku shook his head as he remembered where he was.
“You’re unusually quiet! You’ve gotta have some idea in that brain of yours!”
“Don’t ask him questions right now!” Katsuki barked.
“Huh?! Are you okay, man?!” Kaminari panicked.
“I’m sorry. I wasn’t able to help with this mission so I don’t know…” Izuku glanced gratefully at his husband.
“You should be at home resting!” Iida scolded.
“Of course he’s still alive.” Izuku tried to encourage her. He knew she was seeking reassurance and he tried to be that for her but… he also felt wrecked with guilt.
Izuku was assigned with Todoroki and Iida to look through school security footage but he knew this was all a huge waste of time!
“If Kirishima-kun is stuck under rubble somewhere, Kacchan’s quirk would be most useful to get him out!”
“Are you sure you don’t want to stay with Ashido in the house? You really shouldn’t be out if you injured yourself!” Iida questioned.
“It’s fine…” Izuku smiled.
“Are you sure everything is okay?” Shoto raised his brow, clearly not believing he fell down the stairs.
Truthfully, Izuku was falling apart every minute that passed. He was worried about Kirishima but he was also worried about finding him!
How would Kacchan feel?
Ashido?
Now that everyone was searching for answers, if the truth came out, everyone would know! And that meant things would change… people would feel like they had to choose a side.

After another long exhausting day of searching for Shitty Hair, Katsuki had enough. He entered his home to find his husband asleep on the couch.
Izuku knew something! And damnit, Katsuki was going to pry it out of his stubborn head! He approached him and gently carried him up to their bedroom.
“Mmm… what was that for?” Izuku blinked dreamily.
“You need to tell me what happened.” He whispered. “Before everything goes to shit. Let me in. Let me be on your side!”
“You can’t avoid me like that.” Katsuki grabbed his face, causing him to flinch. “Hey… what gives?” He dragged his hand down to his neck before Izuku started crying.
“I don’t want to say it out loud… I can’t!”
“Who?” Katsuki questioned intensely as he gently traced his hand across his broken wrist.
“It’s not what you think!”
“Then tell me what it is!”
“H-he stopped himself. He didn’t go that far.. he s-saved me..”
“Who, Izuku?” Katsuki stressed as he caressed his cheek gently.
“It was a quirk! It wasn’t… Kirishima-kun didn’t want to…”
“It’s all my fault, Kacchan! It’s my fault he’s gone!”

Mina quickly rushed to the nearby prison where the principal they arrested was being held.
“What happened? What’s going on? Where’s Ei?!”
“We still don’t know.” Jiro frowned. “But.. there’s something you need to see.”
“The footage got corrupted a bit… He said this happens when his victims manage to knock themselves unconscious…” Kaminari explained. “But there was something really clear that came through..”
“Oh my god….” Mina burst into tears. “They’ve been having an affair this whole time?”
“This is a villain’s quirk! We can’t trust it!” Denki defended them.
“Where do you think?! To confront that cheating whore!” Mina seethed.
Izuku tried to stifle his tears as he realized his friends were still at their house when Kacchan brought him to their room.
“No!” Katsuki answered him.
“It’s not your fault either.” Katsuki seethed under his breath. “I’m not gonna let you go through this alone!”
“Did something happen?” Shoto questioned in concern.
Katsuki looked down at his husband and tried not to lose his patience with him. Of course he’d try to protect Shitty Hair! Anger wasn’t going to help him, but it was impossible not to be pissed at Kirishima!
“Bakugo… I know it’s not my relationship, but maybe it’s best you step away for a moment and cool off…” Shoto advised.
Izuku’s eyes widened as he realized he thought they were fighting and was trying to protect him.
“Kacchan…”
“Izuku, if I find him, you’re not gonna like me.” Katsuki seethed. “It’s best we stay out of it! And it might be best he stay gone!”
Izuku knew he couldn’t control Kacchan’s feelings.
“I just wish… it never happened..” Izuku grumbled in defeat.
Shoto walked downstairs to wake Iida but he was already up and on the phone.
“Iida.” Shoto looked him with his brow raised.
“Keep Ashido away. I will ask Midoriya myself!” Tenya hung up the phone.
“That was Kaminari. A villain showed him, and some of the others some damming footage. But I don’t believe what he described!” Tenya sighed. “Where’s Midoriya?”
“Upstairs with Bakugo. They’re both upset about something”
“Tell me what’s going on!” Shoto demanded impatiently.
“It might be a very private matter! I don’t want to spread false information! Not without speaking to Midoriya myself!”
“That’s not going to happen right now. Bakugo wants us to leave.”
“They’ll have to talk to me.” Iida resolved before rushing upstairs and knocking frantically on the couple’s door.
“I told you to back off, Half and Half!” Katsuki hissed.
“I need to talk to both of you at once! It’s urgent!”
“I’m sorry to bring this up in front of Bakugo. But I know your character! I know Kirishima’s character! And whatever that villain showed them can’t be true!”
“It is.” Izuku said guiltily as he looked away.
“WHAT?!” Iida and Shoto questioned in shock.
“I was cleaning my house as I usually do when I’m nervous and… suddenly Kirishima-kun burst through the door and told me to run.”
“Now that there’s a video, I have to.” Izuku sniffled. “It really wasn’t his fault! I didn’t listen when he told me to run because I was worried about him!”
“I don’t understand.” Iida blinked. “Kaminari said it’s a quirk that makes people fulfill their greatest desires that moment.”
Katsuki tensed up before looking at Izuku. “You didn’t tell me that.”
“That villain’s quirk is surely to blame! But to think he’s been that focused on a private moment between you and Bakugo all this time…” Tenya grumbled.
Izuku choked out a sob as shame overwhelmed him.
“Right. We will give you two some privacy.” Iida cleared his throat.
“No. Stay here with him.” Katsuki demanded. “I’m gonna go find Shitty Hair myself.”
“Kacchan…”
“Izuku. Leave this to me.”
Izuku knew he couldn’t stop him. Kacchan had a right to be angry!
“He can explain all that to me when I see him!” Katsuki growled before slowly caressing Izuku’s face and kissing him. “Rest. By the time you wake up, you’ll have nothing to worry about.”
Katsuki hated how he couldn’t sleep peacefully. But he shouldn’t have to deal with this any longer. He kissed his forehead one more time before heading out.
“Why would I need to hold myself back?” Katsuki’s eyes changed their form into the explosive shape he used while in battle. “He can defend himself.”
“If you can find him.”
“What an awful turn of events.” Tenya sunk into the couch. “I just can’t believe it’s come to this.”
“We have to believe it. It’s the only way we can be there for him.”
‘It’s not what everyone thinks.’ He began to type when suddenly there was a loud pounding on the door.
“MIDORIYA! OPEN UP! RIGHT NOW!” Ashido demanded in a fury.
“Stop! That video is not what you think!” Tenya said as she stormed up the stairs.
“MIDORIYA! ARE YOU UP HERE?!”
“Don’t disturb him! I can explain everything!” Tenya said.
“I NEED TO HEAR IT FROM HIM!” Mina cried. Izuku quickly got up and opened his door before she slapped him across the face.
“ASHIDO!”
“WHERE IS HE?!” Mina cried. “Where’s Kirishima hiding?!”
“I don’t know!” Izuku held his cheek which stung.
“How long have you been fucking him, Midoriya?! Was Bakugo really not enough for you?! You had to have my husband too?!”
“Why would Ei, in the middle of an important mission, drop everything just to come kiss you?! Why would that be his deepest desire?!”
“You liar!” She raised her hand to slap him again but Tenya grabbed her wrist.
“STOP IT! Midoriya would not lie about this!”
“He already did lie! To all of us! Did you forget?!”
“You’re right it wasn’t his fault! It was yours! I thought it was weird that he was avoiding you two after we got back together! Now I know why!”
“Iida-kun!” Izuku shook his head. He couldn’t bear to tell her that her husband has been thinking of him all this time. That the reason he got back together with her was to avoid him!
Izuku gasped in realization as he ran to his bathroom and threw up.
‘I can’t stop thinking about touching you like he does!’
Why? Why?!
“Midoriya!” Iida rushed to his side.
“He doesn’t get to cry after breaking up my marriage!” Mina sobbed. “Ei was everything to me! How could he do this?! How?! And why is he running away?!”
“That was a lie I told to get him to be more passionate! I never had anyone else inside me but him!”
“Then it’s your fault! Midoriya’s too kind to tell you this but I will!”
“If he’s crazy about you then why did you feel the need to trick him to be more passionate?!” Shoto questioned as Mina slowly put all the pieces together.
“He would never force himself of him…. No…”
“I’m gonna find him! I’m going to find him right now and get him to tell me everything! Then I’ll make sure Midoriya pays! And you will pay for believing his lies!” She shrieked.
“Better find him before Bakugo does.”
Mina’s eyes widened in realization before she ran to her car and drove off.

“Thank you for staying with me.” Izuku said sadly as Tenya made him tea. “It’s only getting worse.”
“The sooner someone finds Kirishima, the sooner this can end.” Shoto put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
“And then what? Nothing will be the same… even if I pretend it’s okay…”
Izuku nodded gratefully as the tea was slowly relaxing him. “Thank you, both.”
Izuku opted to sleep in the living room with his two closest friends as they waited for his husband to come home. He walked up the stairs to get everyone futons to sleep in when his phone buzzed in his pocket.
‘Midoriya. I promise you won’t have to see me again after this. But I need to apologize to you properly. If you don’t feel like coming, I understand. I’ll be here for the next hour.’
But it was the right thing to do… right?
“Duh.”
Eijiro remembered a conversation he and Kaminari had with Bakugo shortly before he proposed to Midoriya.
“We all are. He’s strong but I imagine the thought leaving him at home while you go save the world can be terrifying now that he’s quirkless!”
“That’s not what I’m worried about!” Katsuki chuffed. “I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure he’s safe! But… I’m worried he won’t get it.”
“Won’t get what?” Denki blinked.
“That having a quirk never mattered! Not with him!”
‘If I had One for All, I could stop you! If I wasn’t quirkless, I could…’
Before he left, he had to tell him it was okay!
His eyes widened in realization as he turned around and activated unbreakable.
“FOUND YOU!”
“Ah! Bakugo….” Eijiro figured by the look on his face, Midoriya must have told him everything!
“Thought you could run away from me after what you did, you sick freak?!”
“YOU CAN’T BLAME THE DAMN QUIRK SO DON’T EVEN TRY!” Katsuki blasted him into the water.
“You know about the quirk?” Eijiro stood up, wondering if he should deactivate unbreakable and accept his punishment.
“I’m really sorry!” Eijiro cried as he bowed his head. “I messed up!”
“What…?”
“Mina….” Eijiro broke when he saw the look on her face. He didn’t expect her to be there!
“All this time… you’ve been thinking of him?”
“KACCHAN! STOP!” Izuku ran onto the beach as Katsuki inches from exploding Eijiro’s non-harden’ed face.
“Izuku?” Katsuki whipped his head around.
“YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!” Katsuki snapped at her before rushing to meet Izuku in the water. “What are you doing here?” He whispered.
“Midoriya…” Eijiro stood up and shamefully limped toward them. “Thank you for coming and… I’m truly sorry!”
“You called him here after what you did?!” He seethed.
“It’s okay, Kacchan.” Izuku pulled his husband back. “I need to hear what he has to say!”
“Thank you for saying that… but, you don’t have to run away!” Izuku insisted. “Maybe you can’t forget what happened!”
Katsuki reached out and grabbed his hand from Izuku’s before searing it with his heated palm.
“Ah!” Eijiro screamed in pain.
“Whenever you think about touching him..”
“Right…” Eijiro nodded his head. “Thank you! Both of you!”
“Come on, Izuku. Let’s go home.”
“WAIT!” Mina stood there, shaking in anger. “Where’s my apology… huh, Midoriya? You seduced my husband and possessed him with your charms until he lost himself! And you think you can just walk away?!”
“The hell did you just say?!”
“Stop!” Eijiro stood in between them. “Don’t be mad at Midoriya!” He turned to Bakugo. “I’ll handle her… you guys have been dragged in my mess enough…”
“Ei, I never cheated on you!” Mina sobbed.
“What? I saw you!”
“That wasn’t real! We asked Himiko to transform into a guy and then waited until you were down the street to make it look like we were doing something when you walked in!”
“Because you weren’t passionate about me! Not the way Bakugo and Midoriya were about each other! Not even the way Ochaco and Himiko were! You loved me! But I didn’t feel… desired!”
“I read somewhere that men get more possessive when they’re jealous or think they’re going to lose you! So I faked everything and it worked… or at least I thought it did!”
“I never would have got him in my head if you didn’t do that!” Eijiro screamed. “They were my good friends! And I hurt them! All for a lie?! A trick?!”
“Don’t you blame me for what you did! It’s his fault!”
“He didn’t do anything but love Bakugo! And maybe I was always attracted to him and didn’t realize it! But I never would have if you hadn’t tricked me like that!”
“You don’t mean that!” She cried. “You cheated on me! I saw you kiss him!”
“And that was the lowest moment of my life!” He cried. “You have no idea how bad you hurt me! Bakugo and Midoriya tried to pick me up and then I hurt them!”
“No! Ei! Wait!”
“Goodbye, Mina… I did love you. But I can’t forgive you.” He walked away as much as it hurt to hear her scream for him.

One Week Later
“I like that one.”
“Is that even a constellation?” Katsuki questioned. “It’s just a fucking star.”
“Yeah?” Katsuki laced his hands in his. “I’m sure every star looks like that.”
“Exactly! That’s why I like that one too!” Izuku pointed at another one.
“You ready to go back tomorrow?”
“I’m just really happy to be married to you.” Izuku hummed as he drifted his eyes closed. “It’s a dream come true.”
Katsuki watched as a shooting star fell from the sky. “Yeah… I know what you mean.”
He traced his hand lovingly over Izuku’s face and kissed him.
Yeah, he could forgive him. It’s what the greatest hero who ever lived would do.
Thank you all for reading this! I know it was a bit messy but it was really therapeutic for me to write for a variety of reasons!
Thank you all, again, for your support!

“GET OUT!”
Mina threw her shoe at him and Eijiro realized his marriage was over. He didn’t know what he did to deserve this. He came home early from a mission and caught his wife in bed with someone else.
