"Say, can you say sorry to Midoriya for me? You know from when we were middle school when I bullied him." Nagai says, scratching the back of his head.
"Hah? Why me?"
Nagai laughs, "I mean, you know, you're both close right? Proheroes and all."
Bakugo frowns.
"C-come on, man. I'm lucky enough to just running into you, considering your life now. I mean," Nagai smiles, but it didn't reach his eyes.
That line alone was enough then.
"Haa, I knew I could rely on you Bakugo."
Bakugo puts his head down, he'd stare at his own shame in the reflection of his coffee than look at the other.
"Just get to what you want."
Bakugo stays quiet.
"I'm assuming you have considering how Midoriya is, you could always easily take that opportunity."
Nagai scoffs, "What I mean is, Midoriya is obviously too kind to just easily forgive you like nothing happened!" He shrugs. "Surely, you used that chance for your own gain. You're lucky."
Before he could think Bakugo grabs Nagai's collar, pulling him enough to face him. "Don't fucking lump me with shits like you... I'm not like that. Especially to him. To Izuku...!"
"Don't act so self righteous."
If they stayed there any longer who knew what Bakugo would've done.
He was grateful for the waiter.
And Nagai leaves.
Bakugo knew. He knew what Nagai meant of Deku being kind, of him being lucky. He feared it once before. And Bakugo knew... too well that his admition of guilt could be seen by any outsider to be some ass pull on using Deku's kindness to be easily forgiven.
And that-that trust he gave Bakugo was it.
That he, may be unknowingly, just been forgiven because of Deku's heart.
Bakugo held his head down, hands fidgiting on his lap.
"Izuku, why did you so easily forgave me?"
"Nothing just..." a pause. "Didn't you hate me, at least?"
"I never hated Kacchan." Deku immediately says.
"You should've."
Deku shakes his head, "No." He leans on the sofa. "I never had a reason to hate you, Kacchan. You're amazing and inspired to be a better version of myself everyday. Then and still even now.
Bakugo scoffs, "Well, for one, I bullied you." He pouts.
"But why?"
"Is that what this is all about Kacchan?" A pause. "That you think I forgave you because I was simply... kind..?"
Bakugo says nothing.
"It wasn't merely out of kindness, it didn't need to be out of kindness. Your genuineness was enough for me to forgive you, Kacchan."
Bakugo opens his eyes he didn't even noticed he closed then. "As expected of the greatest hero, you really know what to say." He tearily says.
Bakugo cups Deku's cheeks and pulls him closer. "It means 'Thank you, Hero Deku.' Nerd." Kissing him.
Deku reciprocates the kiss, "You're welcome, Dynamight-san."
End.
Almost abandoned this one halfway through because my head was faster than my typing and I couldn't piece everything together properly (even now... I don't think I even delivered the message I wanted to deliver somehow)
Hope this one's fine/enough tho. Thank you for reading.
Honestly, don't bother about him. Not cool. Not important. His ass will never be forgiven.
