Deku has always liked having some kind of weight in his legs when he sleeps, whether it be some pillow or another person’s feet. He also liked tucking his hand beneath him even when the next morning his hands ends up falling asleep.

He doesn’t exactly know why but maybe it just so happens that when his mother used to tuck him in bed, he always had pillows and all might plushies all around him especially around his legs. His mother would often jokingly say to him that perhaps +

Back then, when Kacchan and him would have sleepovers he would often ask the other to put his feet on his legs to put a little weight on it

Deku remembered how Kacchan would complain about how that it was a pain to do that but he would comply either way. It’s funny because oftentimes Kacchan would end up above Deku and despite that however straining, Deku loves it all the same.

Still, his fixation for having some weight on him stayed. Deku simply resorted to pillows. It’s not like Deku has had someone, except for his mother every nap time in noons, to put their feet unto him everytime.

He was still the same in highschool. He was kinda relieved when he discovered that he wasn’t really the only one to have this kind of fixation. The thing is, for him, he really should have some kind of weight for him to really fall asleep

Though not as much as a hassle like his, his other classmates like, Kaminari, Tokoyami, and Hagakure also likes this feeling.

Throughout their highschool years, him and Kacchan gradually fixed the bridge between them and became close. They shared the secret of ofa, trained together, fought together, and, well, like they did back then they teased each other like they’ve never had a strain between them.

It was nice. There were even times when like in training camps where they have to share the rooms with the others Kacchan would do his best in teasing Deku about his fixation. Laughing at him for being such a baby who still has pillows all around him.

Still, to Deku’s surprise, Kacchan would switch with whoever was beside Deku saying that it was cold in his place. Deku shouldn’t pay much mind on it but whenever Kacchan subtly tried to put his leg over Deku’s-Deku couldn’t help but sleep with a smile on his face.
