Lets be clear: lots of Harvey Weinstein's awful & abusive behavior was already on the public record...celebs--even fondly--joked about it.

Allowances were made for Weinstein not just because he's wealthy, but also because folks called him a genius. Or, "God," as Streep did.

Before these allegations added an undeniably sexual component, Weinstein's abusiveness was tolerated, even admired? Kinda like Steve Jobs?
