Today, we're launching Perplexity Teammates.
They are personal agents for work. And change the paradigm from writing prompts in a session to giving high-level goals. Rolling out to Max users on the web today. Native apps (mobile, desktop) coming soon.

Teammate takes Perplexity's orchestration capabilities to the next level. From ephemeral sandbox sessions with Computer, you get a persistent coworker you can delegate responsibilities to and have the teammate manage end-to-end.
3
Automated bug triaging, QA loops, security monitoring, data analysis, managing A/B tests in production, and running growth marketing are a few things teammates do daily for us at Perplexity.
4
Teammates build on your Projects, Memory, and Skills that already exist in Perplexity and Computer. This allows you to bootstrap from what you already have inside. All your existing connectors, files, and past sessions have already onboarded your teammates.
5
Teammates also learn from feedback and avoid the same mistakes. So, the more you use and onboard, the better they get at doing real work for you.
6
You can work with Perplexity Teammates in Slack. They're proactive and watch ongoing work in a Slack channel and can act when something changes, proactively.
7
Today, most work is one person doing one task at a time. We think that flips. Everyone will have a team of agents doing the work, and people will set direction and make the calls that matter.
8
That takes more than just a frontier model. Agents need to remember you and the org, learn to work with each other and with your coworkers, run on their own, and get better every time you correct them. Teammates is our first step toward that.
9
Over time, we envision every org having hundreds of teammates working for each person, and every company looking like a massively parallel distributed computer of curious humans and dedicated teammates supporting them. perplexity.ai/hub/products/t…
