As a friend, I have a few straightforward questions for...

1. Before supporting or associating with this NGO, did you properly research its background, leadership, funding, activities, and any possible political affiliations?
2. If there are documented links between this NGO or its leadership and political parties such as AAP, BJP, Congress, or others, were you aware of those links before extending your support?
3. If someone presents themselves as a voice for the General Category, shouldn’t they conduct proper due diligence before supporting an organisation—especially by examining its record and the positions of people associated with it on General Category issues?
4. If you disagree with the reservation policies or General Category-related positions of certain political parties, what was the basis for supporting an organisation with documented connections to people associated with those parties, if such connections exist?
5. Was this simply a lack of research and due diligence, or was there some professional, organisational, or personal reason behind the decision?
6. Most importantly, shouldn’t the GC community be entitled to transparency from those who claim to represent its concerns? Can you publicly explain the facts and reasoning behind your support for this NGO?
These are questions of transparency and accountability, not conclusions or allegations. Public figures and leaders should be prepared to explain their organisational associations and decisions with facts and evidence.
