⚠️ STOP THROWING AROUND THE WORDS “FALSE PROPHET.”
Some of you have appointed yourselves judge, jury, and prophet-police while demonstrating very little understanding of what Scripture actually teaches about false prophets.
Biblically, a false prophet isn't simply someone who interpreted something incorrectly or got something wrong. Scripture warns about those who falsely claim God's authority, speak what God did not give them, and lead people away from the LORD and His truth. — Deuteronomy 13:1–5; Jeremiah 23:16; Matthew 7:15–20.
There is a tremendous difference between an imperfect person who points people TO JESUS and someone who leads people AWAY FROM HIM.
Before publicly branding someone a “FALSE PROPHET,” perhaps learn what the Bible actually says—and remember:
“Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.” — Proverbs 18:2 NIV
@lairelightner1, you have much to learn about this distinction. Strong opinions do not become biblical truth merely because they're spoken with confidence.
STOP AIRING OPINIONS AS BIBLICAL AUTHORITY. READ THE WORD. TEST EVERYTHING. USE DISCERNMENT.

Then, when your claims are challenged directly with Scripture and the actual biblical definition of a false prophet, you block the person challenging you instead of answering.
That speaks volumes.
If your position is biblical, DEFEND IT BIBLICALLY. Don’t attack publicly and then run from scrutiny when someone pushes back.

“A [closed-minded] fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his personal opinions [unwittingly displaying his self-indulgence and his stupidity].”
That wording says it perfectly. A closed mind. No desire for understanding. Just personal opinions broadcast publicly as though they carry authority.
Sometimes Scripture needs no commentary—it speaks for itself.
