Copied directly from bitcoin.

The difference is, the Bitcoin ecosystem has lots of apps that support multi-sig vs. the XRPL ecosystem where it is virtually non-existent.

Do you comprehend what we have here?

Most useful features directly built into the layer 1. Human readable. Standardized.

No surprises on the XRP Ledger. What you see is what you get.

Its risk profile is unmatched, especially for high-value stakes.

Oh it's much better done on XRP.

The roots of the XRP Ledger is in Bitcoin, reverse engineered, removed what's not needed like mining to solve double spend and then added things to make it more useful and practical. One of it is being account based.

True on the apps, Xaman has an xApp for it but i don't think it's most sought after feature by retail users. I think that reflects the challenge of handling multiple keys safely.

Xaman is the only app that supports it and the signers need to be all on the same phone I believe. No ability to export / pass to other users in quorum. So kinda pointless imo

Multi sign xApp allows for multi user multi phone multi account signer routines 💪
