"Always choose yourself, then choose who chooses you." This hit me...

This hit me harder than it should have.
For years I chased investors who ghosted me, co-founders who flaked, and clients who treated me like an option.
I thought persistence was a virtue. It was just self-sabotage with better branding.
#FounderMindset #Boundaries #SelfRespect#Motivation
It means:
Setting boundaries before resentment builds
Protecting your energy like it's finite (because it is)
Saying no without guilt when something drains you
When you choose yourself, you signal to the world: I'm worth respect.
I bent myself into shapes for people who wouldn't stretch an inch for me. I convinced myself I was being patient when I was just afraid of being alone.
Does this person/partnership feed me or just keep me from starving?
If I'm doing 80% of the reaching out, I pull back. If they don't notice, I have my answer.
The people who matter will notice. The rest were just taking up space.
Stopped chasing lukewarm investors. Found ones who called me back.
Stopped convincing co-founders. Found people who were all-in from day one.
Stopped tolerating flaky clients. Worked with people who valued my time.
My energy tripled. My results followed.
