How to start vibe coding (the right way) This is the beginner’s...

This is the beginner’s guide I wish I had when I started.
It shows you how to build smart, fast, and clean with Cursor, Lovable, CodeRabbit, and more.

You’re not writing code. You’re giving instructions.
The better your prompt, the better the result.
AI is only as useful as the input you give it.
Break the build into steps.
Write a short PRD with ChatGPT.
Save it inside your project folder.
Start clean and you’ll ship 10x smoother.
- Lovable: Best for beginners and MVP scaffolding
- Cursor/Claude Code: For complex logic, security, and optimizations
- ChatGPT/Gemini: For planning, bug-hunting, testing ideas
Build your stack around your strengths.
Ask CodeRabbit to generate unit tests.
Only let Cursor write new logic once tests pass.
More structure = fewer bugs later.
Commit often.
Start each task from a clean state.
If the AI messes something up, roll back and try again.
Clean history = safe experiments.
If it gets stuck:
- Take a break
- Start a new chat
- Switch models
- Reword your prompt
You’re still the human in charge. Guide it well.
Paste the full error into Cursor.
Then:
→ Ask it to explain
→ Ask for multiple fixes
→ Pick one and let it patch the file
Most issues get solved in one loop.
If not, reset and try again.
- Generate visuals with ChatGPT
- Do SEO research
- Write documentation
- Plan next set of features
- Marketing
These tools aren’t just coders, they’re your team.
