I’ve built 20+ MVPs vibe coding in Cursor and Claude Code The truth...

Using AI to build features feels amazing at first.
But most of the time, it writes bloated code full of hidden bugs and security issues.
You only realize it after you ship.
That’s why I use CodeRabbit to catch those problems early.
It reviews every line of code while you’re building.
Suggests improvements.
Catches security issues.
And makes sure you’re not just shipping “working” code, but clean, scalable, secure code.
Level 1: The Private Vibe Check (in Editor)
- Create a new branch
- Write/generate code with Cursor
- Run CodeRabbit for an instant review
- Use AI to fix suggestions immediately
Level 2: The Formal Review (on GitHub)
- Commit your now-clean code & push to GitHub
- Open a Pull Request
- Let CodeRabbit run its final, comprehensive review before merging.
- Install the CodeRabbit extension inside Cursor.
- Create a new branch for your feature first (e.g., git checkout -b new-feature). This is your safe workspace.
- Now, write your code and make changes.
- Use the CodeRabbit extension to review your work before you commit.
- Once clean, commit your changes and push.
- Critical Bugs
- Security Flaws
- Bad Performance Patterns
- Poor Code Quality
- Style Issues
It’s wild how accurate it is.
One of my devs accidentally left an API key in the code during a client build.
When he ran the CodeRabbit review, it flagged it instantly.
That’s when I realized how often we push stuff without double-checking.
Since then, it’s a non-negotiable in our workflow.
Click “Fix with AI” → Paste into Cursor → Let the agent fix it.
I still recommend switching to Ask Mode after to learn why it flagged that line.
That’s how you level up long-term.
CodeRabbit doesn’t just work in your editor.
When you push a PR to GitHub, it’ll review it again, like a second layer of checks before shipping to production.
Perfect if you’re working in a team or agency setup.
Use @cursor_ai to build.
Use @coderabbitai to vibe-check.
This combo has helped me deliver multiple client projects confidently.
You should try it too.
Vibe coding is how you build fast.
Vibe checking is how you build right.
Add this to your workflow.
You’ll save yourself hours and your users will thank you.
Let me know if you try it out.
