Stop demonizing Hamas! Two years into the most destructive chapter...

Almost the entirety of the “pro-Palestine” online personalities went into a frenzy to attack and try to delegitimize me, including journalists, academics, activists, advocates, fake asylum seekers, twitch streamers, convicted sex offenders, pro-Iran and Russia mouthpieces, anti-Zionist leftists, and even think-tank personalities. There is a complete mental inability, even by those who proclaim to be “against Hamas”, to understand that its actions are inseparable from the horror that is unfolding in Gaza and from the horrendous behavior of the Israeli government, which also deserves immense blame and accountability for the unfolding humanitarian catastrophes in Gaza.
I ended the article with a plea to end Israel’s “inhumane policies” and to “flood Gaza with food” as a way of undermining Hamas. This humanitarian and pragmatic position does not absolve Israel of responsibility and focuses on the immediate needs of Gaza’s over 2 million civilians. Still, that was insufficient for the rabid and insane “pro-Palestine mafia and industrial complex,” which does not have any capacity for balanced, rational, dispassionate, analytical, or reasonable thinking and insists on verbal purity tests and excusing Hamas’s behavior because it is seen as a small and insignificant party to this conflict.
I am sharing this because I want you to understand that many disingenuous, lying, inauthentic, insincere, and shape-shifting individuals continue to claim that they are not for Hamas and that the support for the terror organization is minuscule in the broader pro-Palestine solidarity movement in the Western diaspora. Yet an overwhelming amount of evidence, behavior, statements, what I just shared, and my experience now for almost two years, consistently confirms that, sadly and tragically, for the people of Gaza and the just and urgent Palestinian aspirations for freedom, support for Hamas continues to be mainstream and widespread across large and diverse sectors of the communities who ultimately see it as a legitimate resistance organization that does not deserve to be demonized and dehumanized!
