What’s happening in Yemen? After the American-British coalition...

Yemen has three “governments”:
1• The Aden government in southern Yemen (backed by the UAE)
2• The Abdrabbuh Mansour government (exists only in Riyadh hotels, Saudi Arabia)
3• The Sanaa government (the “Houthis”, the one launching missiles at Israel)
Yesterday, the Vice Foreign Minister of the UAE-backed Aden government, Mustafa Al-Numan, flew to Washington to request weapons to confront the Sanaa government and halt its armed forces attacks on Israel.
He also gave an interview to PBS (video).
The UAE-backed Aden government isn’t just recognized by the U.S, Israeli media also refers to it as “Yemen’s government.”
Here’s a screenshot from The Jerusalem Post, dated April 13, 2025, reporting that the Aden government is preparing to launch a ground attack on Hodeidah, which is under the control of the Sanaa government (Houthis).
Are the UAE Aden government’s prime minister’s resignation, the deputy foreign minister’s visit to Washington, and the push for a ground offensive against the Sanaa government all connected?
If so, welcome to the age of proxy wars.
