Overtight-katsuki, shinbaku edition. Because it can't be done too...

The penalty for avoiding these things is that when he shows up, everyone acts like it’s the second coming.
Katsuki crunches his ice and announces, “Fine, but I’m not playing by any idiotic rules.”
“As president,” Sero says loudly, “I declare that no rules apply to Bakugou.”
“Yes, great bullshit, sir,” Kaminari says, nodding at Sero.
“Thanks.” Sero gathers the cards and starts shuffling. “Take a drink, Jirou.”
She does it with a scowl as Sero starts dealing out the cards.
Katsuki turns left and blinks in confusion at wavy purple hair. “Shinsou?” he blurts out. “When the fuck did you get back?”
“Dude, you never come out,” Kaminari says, throwing down a pair of jacks.
“Oh,” Katsuki says, and there’s more random laughter.
Katsuki turns back to his cards, face heating. “I pass.”
The game continues as it always does. New rules, new chairs.
“Danger is in the eye of the beholder,” Jirou says mysteriously.
“So wise, great leader,” Kaminari says. “Too bad I’ll never have a two.”
Jirou pats him on the head. “You’re dangerous enough already. Everybody else drink!”
Shinsou leans towards him and looks in his cup. “I’m going to get a beer. Want another?”
Shinsou leans even closer to murmur in his ear. “How about a coke?”
Katsuki drags his eyes away from Shinsou’s profile and back to his cards. There’s no good going down this path.
“But I’m President,” Shinsou says.
“Not yet you aren’t. The hand isn’t over yet.”
Shinsou rolls his eyes. “Fine. So uh… dangerous?”
Shinsou’s nose wrinkles as he looks around the room. “But don’t damage Mina’s apartment, right?”
“That’s right!” Mina calls from the kitchen.
“There’s some expired lunchmeat in the fridge,” Mina yells.
Shinsou grimaces.
“Prank call Aizawa?” Kaminari suggests. “I’ve got his cell number."
Then the cup of melon soda explodes in his right hand.
“See? Dangerous. Like I said.”
“Paper towels aren’t gonna cut it,” he says, pushing Kaminari away. Plus, the bathroom has a door he can lock.
But no, it’s not that easy. When Katsuki eases open the door, Shinsou’s waiting in the dark hallway outside Mina’s room.
“Hey,” he says.
“Hey,” Katsuki echos. He stops when he should keep walking.
Katsuki’s mind is empty of words. What can he possibly say? It made perfect sense that Shinsou kissed him, like the game was an arrow pointing towards that moment. The kiss isn't the problem.
“Was it fine?” Shinsou asks.
Katsuki doesn’t answer, so Shinsou comes to stand in front of him. “If it was fine, then I’d wanna do it again.”
He waits one, warm breath, then he kisses the corner of Katsuki’s mouth and the heat of it just about sets Katsuki on fire.
Shinsou smiles and slinks an arm around Katsuki’s waist. “You’re not so dangerous without a soda in your hand, are you?”
A kiss is okay. One kiss, it’s been so long since anyone kissed him. Just a kiss in a dark hallway that spins him around.
He thinks there’s more.
Shinsou’s eyebrows lift, then he straightens, letting the light come between them. “It’s ten,” he says, letting confusion lilt the ending into a gentle question.
His hand slips off Shinsou as he turns away. The want that sparked between them aches as it stretches, but he keeps walking.
Katsuki nods without turning back.
Wanting is different than doing.

Until…
>> Hey
He must have had it since high school. It’s kind of bizarre to think about.
He didn’t think twice about Shinsou Hitoshi. Now one word has him sweating.
>> It’s Shinsou. Turns out I live above the spiciest noodle shop on the east side of town. Want to get dinner and catch up?
Except he doesn’t.
Two weeks after accidentally purposefully kissing Shinsou in Mina’s apartment, Katsuki sees him again. It’s Ochako’s sushi birthday dinner and he promised he’d come when they shared a shift a month ago.
Oh, he’s not rude about it. Not pissy or whatever. He smiles and tells jokes and talks to everyone and nudges Sero in the shoulder and steals unagi off of Kaminari’s plate and fiddles with the straw in his drink.
He looks at Katsuki like he’s seeing the wallpaper behind him. No, that’s not it. He looks at Katsuki like he’s a dutiful nephew waiting for his auntie to finish his story.
Katsuki drags behind and slips into the bathroom.
It’s almost enough to make him leave the jacket, but he throws it over his arm and heads out. He’s on the sidewalk when it hits him. Shinsou’s gonna realize he forgot his jacket as soon as he gets to his bike.
“Hey,” Shinsou says, half breathless.
Katsuki holds out his jacket.
“Oh. Thanks.”
“No prob,” Katsuki says. And then they stand there. “Well. Bye?”
“Yeah, why? You’ve gotta bike, don’t you?” The last thing Katsuki needs is Shinsou in his car.
“Yeah, it’s just…” Shinsou runs his hand through his hair and laughs apologetically. “We’re probably parked in the same garage.”
They make it a block in silence before Shinsou pipes up. “You know, it really doesn’t have to be this awkward.”
“People don’t want to date me all the time.”
Katsuki laughs before he can help it.
Ouch. Katsuki grimaces. “Sorry. It’s not you.”
“Mmmhm.” Shinsou nods along like he’s acting in a bad play.
“It’s fine, Bakugou. You don’t have to explain yourself to me.” They’ve reached the garage and Shinsou holds open the door to the stairwell.
“Me?” Shinsou asks. “What about me?”
Shinsou’s eyebrows raise. “Oh. Thank you.”
Katsuki shrugs and starts to trudge up the stairs.
“You’re hot, too, but I can be normal about it.”
“I’ll stop being so charming all the time.”
“Starting when?” Katsuki asks, turning back to see Shinsou, a few stairs behind. Shinsou looks up with a grin, and the electricity between them snaps back so hard Katsuki’s hair stands on end.
Oh shit. Is he?
“Don’t worry,” Shinsou says, still teasing. “You don’t have to date me just ‘cuz you flirt with me.”
“Shit,” Shinsou pants, chest pressing against Katsuki’s. “You okay?”
Two floors below them, the metal door bangs open.
The spell breaks.
Katsuki pushes through the door for the third floor, rushes to his car, and climbs into the driver’s seat.
Please don’t let him come this way.
Does he know what car Katsuki drives?
>> Okay so we’ll stick with awkward, but just FYI I’m not going to text you until you text me back
>> After this I mean

They’ve got a whole system of persuasion, and yet somehow Katsuki finds himself at a bar the very next week.
Instead, he works his way down the stairs into the basement bar. A drink might excuse his poor decision making.
Startled, Katsuki turns back to the bartender, who’s holding out a plastic cup, looking irritated.
“Gin and tonic. Start a tab or close out?”
“Hey, you’re here! Want me to show you where everyone’s standing?”
“Oh, are we still being awkward? Should I pretend I didn’t see you?”
Katsuki has to look away from Shinsou’s smile. “C’mon,” he says, looping an arm around Katsuki’s back to shuttle him down the bar.
Katsuki tries to shrug it off as everyone goes on like he’s never been seen outside his apartment before.
Inevitably, they meet.
“Like the band?”
“It’s fine,” Katsuki says.
Maybe he’s not pushing, but Katsuki feels himself leaning back anyway. “Yeah.”
“You’re very hard to read.”
“I know.”
Katsuki’s so hazy he isn’t expecting the obvious.
“Come home with me.”
Katsuki doesn’t answer, but Shinsou peels away with a huff. “You know I don’t get you at all. Are you just fucking with me?”
The look on Shinsou’s face is hardening. He’s deciding right now that Katsuki is too much trouble, and he’s right. Katsuki /has/ been fucking with him and it feels like shit.
“I don’t bottom.”
There’s a pause. Shinsou’s eyebrows knit together. He heard.
“You… top?”
“Oh.” Shinsou sounds more confused than disappointed.
“Either way. Any way. Ever.”
Such graceful words to lead to a full minute of silence.
“How about blowjobs? Are those okay?”
Katsuki pauses with his mouth open. He’d kinda forgotten that there were… other things. That they weren’t always just foreplay for something else.
“Then come home with me… for a blowjob?”
“Just a blowjob?”
“Well, I’m hoping we could each have one. Maybe a little more kissing? Do you like to spoon?” Shinsou’s mouth has begun to relax back into an easy curve.
“No spooning,” Katsuki says weakly.
“I won’t change my mind,” Katsuki says, too quickly.
“Yeah, okay. No spooning. Ready?”
Shinsou’s pulling him towards the exit before he’s done nodding.
A ten minute walk.
One flight of stairs.
One hallway.
Shinsou hustles them along, barely talking—probably because he’s recognized Katsuki’s pro-level skills at making conversation awkward.
“Do you, uh, want something to drink?” Shinsou asks.
“Ugh, no.” Katsuki grabs him by the collar and Shinsou falls into him obligingly, picking up where it seems like they always left off.
Shinsou seems to be corralling Katsuki somewhere, so Katsuki steps along, stumbling when something dashes between his legs.
The thing meows loudly.
“Fuck. No. Go – away – Muffin,” Shinsou says, trying to shove the cat away with his foot while still kissing Katsuki.
“Muffin?” Katsuki sniggers.
“Sorry, he’s bad-tempered and blind in one eye.”
“Are you serious? Did Aizawa—”
“Yes. No. Don’t ask. I really don’t want to talk about Aizawa’s cat.”
“Shut the door and get over here. I’m already on my knees.”
Katsuki huffs as he pushes the door closed behind him. “So I’m going first?” he says, stepping closer.
“Manners,” Katsuki echoes, hands hanging in the air.
“Oh,” Katsuki pants. One nudge and suddenly, he’s falling back onto the edge of the bed, bare from the waist down.
“Fuck,” Katsuki gasps, holding on tighter.
But you know what? Great. That’s better. He’ll cum before Shinsou does anything fancy. His hands can stay right where they are, safe on Katsuki’s hips.
Shinsou squeezes him. His hands are right there. Katsuki can see them. Shinsou’s thumbs stroke gently over his hipbones and Katsuki’s thighs finally relax.
Time’s gotten a little hazy, but he’s pretty sure that wasn’t even two minutes.
Katsuki switches places with him before they can talk about his speediness. Shinsou obliges with a huff, kicking off his pants so Katsuki can slide between his legs.
He didn’t really think he’d be here. That he’d do this.
“Can I touch you?” Shinsou asks.
“Yeah,” Katsuki murmurs.
Shinsou combs through his hair, hands settling to rub at his neck and shoulders.
“Like this?”
God, giving head seems like such a treat when you think you might never do it again.
His breath is slow and heavy. “Yeah, it was good,” Katsuki says eventually.
“I oughta get going.”
“No, I’ll walk.” Katsuki grimaces at how rude he sounds. “I like to walk.”
“Okay,” Shinsou says, with an exhale that’s not quite a sigh. “If that’s what you want.”
Shit, he’s so awkward. What is fuck his problem?
Shinsou laughs. “No. I don’t like girls.”
“Kiss goodbye?” He’s so close now, Katsuki’s back is to the door.
“Alright,” Katsuki murmurs, lifting his chin as Shinsou wraps around him.
“Maybe we could do this again,” Shinsou says.
“You let me know. Okay?”
Katsuki really doesn’t want to be in charge of this. He doesn’t know the words. He can already feel the possibility slipping from his hand like a balloon into the sky.
“Yeah,” he says. “Night.”

That’s the question Katsuki asks himself while he doesn’t text Shinsou. Three, maybe? Unless you’re really good at it, which Katsuki isn’t.
Work. Cook. Exercise. In two weeks, Shinsou will have written him off for good.
Shinsou said he wouldn’t text, but he wouldn’t /come here/ either, would he? Does he even know where Katsuki lives?
Katsuki rolls his shoulders back and opens the door. “What?”
Sero sighs, unimpressed. “Kirishima won’t be there tonight.”
“Kirishima’s got nothing to do with it.”
“Really?” Sero asks.
“Well, I think you basically disappeared on the rest of us after the two of you broke up, and now it’s been three years. If that’s not about Kirishima, then what’s it about?”
Sero gnaws on his lip. “Dude, is it like… anxiety?”
“No, I’m not anxious. I just love all this special attention from you.” He throws the towel at Sero’s face. “Give me ten minutes to clean up and then we can go to whatever lame bar you want.”
The bar is loud and rowdy. Casual enough that Katsuki doesn’t stand out in his deliberately underwhelming outfit of joggers, t-shirt, and ball cap. Crowded enough that he isn’t sure how many of his friends are there, but it’s more than a few.
“What?” Katsuki asks.
Sero holds out a puck. “Shuffleboard?”
Katsuki swipes it out of his hand. “Sure, whatever.”
What the hell is going on? Is the whole world out to get him?
Shinsou looks down. “Where are the other two?”
“In the gutter,” Sero says, clapping him on the shoulder.
Katsuki sighs. “Yeah. That’s me.”
Katsuki sorta explained it already, so he just shrugs.
Shinsou presses his lips together and the tentative playfulness slides away. He sets the weights on the edge of the table. “We don’t have to play.”
“I think it’s pretty obvious.” Shinsou makes a wry face. “We either go make out in an alley, or pretend we don’t know each other.”
Shinsou meets his gaze, eyes thoughtful. “I probably should be, but not yet. I guess I still think I’m gonna figure you out.”
The idea of someone /figuring him out/ raises the hair on Katsuki’s neck.
Katsuki’s throat hurts suddenly. Every outcome seems… sad. A hundred different ways to land at the same future. Fast or slow. He turns away, blinking.
Katsuki jerks his head towards the door. “Let’s go find an alley.”
“Bakugou.”
“What?” Katsuki rasps, still gripping Shinsou’s collar to keep his mouth close. A particularly good stroke makes him groan. Shinsou’s not going fast, but Katsuki’s barely holding it together.
“What?” Katsuki pants.
“Please? It’s for my dignity.”
“Now?”
“Fine. Jesus.”
Katsuki can’t remember if he ever came while kissing someone before. Feels like it just goes on forever.

Katsuki sleeps well that night, but he probably shouldn’t. First, he’s establishing a pattern he can’t keep up. Second, he agreed to text Shinsou in some sort of orgasm-hostage negotiation, and that’s only going to make things worse.
Shinsou >> oho so you can be coerced
Shinsou >> spicy noodle dinner is still on the table…
Katsuki >> can’t. i’m busy
Katsuki >> I’m free later tonight though
Katsuki knocks on Shinsou’s door at 9pm. Shinsou opens it up with a wry smile. “Straight to business then?”
Katsuki isn’t able to come up with a reply before Shinsou reels him and puts him out of his misery.
“There’s a cat on my foot.”
Oh – Shinsou’s going to blow him and that’s — yes, but — Katsuki sits up and grabs his hands at the wrists.
“I should do you first,” Katsuki pants. For fairness, or something.
“You can keep holding my hands if you want, but it’s better if I use them. Or you can just tell me what to do.”
Katsuki gnaws on his lip.
“Don’t touch my ass,” Katsuki says, wrinkling his nose at the words. It’s awful to keep saying it, but it’ll eat at him if he doesn’t.
“Sorry,” Katsuki says.
“Tell me as much as you want,” Shinsou replies. “I’m good with rules. Cock is fine?”
“Yeah.”
“Yeah, but…” Katsuki swallows, annoyed with himself.
“But what?”
“Nothing,” Katsuki says. He doesn’t need to repeat himself when he’s already ruined the mood. He’s probably the least sexy person Shinsou’s ever slept with, and they’re not even sleeping together.
“Good. I like it if you touch me,” he says, like they’re just exchanging normal preferences.
It’s just that Katsuki’s already messed up and he hasn’t lied about anything so why not let Shinsou be the one to shut things down? He’s the one who keeps texting, even if Katsuki’s the one who keeps coming over.
Katsuki never stays for more than an hour. Never spends the night. It wouldn’t be fair to Shinsou.
He’s almost tempted to message Shinsou himself, but he just stares at his phone instead.
The phone vibrates in his hand and Katsuki, startled, drops it into a bowl of miso soup.
Shinsou >> Just got back into town. Want to hang out?
He just got back? From where? Katsuki hasn’t asked anything about Shinsou’s hero work… or anything, really.
Katsuki >> I could come over around 8?
Shinsou >> Or you could just come now because I’m pretty worn out and I’ll pass out at some point
Shinsou >> Or maybe that doesn’t sound like fun? Sorry ha tired
>> It’s fine I’ll come now
“Hey,” Shinsou says, smiling. He looks tired as shit, although part of that might be the purplish shadow of stubble on Shinsou’s cheeks. No wonder he’s usually smooth-shaven.
“Sorry, I didn’t expect you so quick. I’m still eating.”
Katsuki leans his elbows on the counter as Shinsou shovels rice into his mouth.
“Sucks.”
“It’s fine,” Katsuki says.
“I can’t just let you watch me eat,” Shinsou says. “Don’t worry, it doesn’t count as dinner if you don’t sit at a table.”
Katsuki fumbles for a response since he hasn’t done anything but work since the last time he saw Shinsou.
“Sorry for making you wait. Can I take you to bed now?”
“Hey, so… I wanted to ask you something.”
“I already said—wait, what?”
“Your thighs.” Shinsou drags his fingertips lightly down the inside of Katsuki’s leg.
“What’s in it for me?” Katsuki says, buying time while his mind whirs.
“Have you ever done it?” Shinsou asks.
“No.” Katsuki doesn’t feel shy about admitting it. Not like thigh-fucking is an essential sexual experience.
There are so many things Katsuki’s already decided he’ll never try, but this wasn’t actually one of them.
“Fine,” Katsuki letting the skepticism play loud in his voice. “Let’s find out.”
“It’s for your thighs.”
Katsuki blinks, feeling stupid. “Oh.”
Shinsou has such a good poker face. He never reacts when Katsuki’s weird. At least, he doesn’t react /badly/. He doesn’t ignore it either.
“You wanna do it like this?” Katsuki asks, still tense.
“Yeah. Unless you wanted to do it another way?”
Katsuki doesn’t even know what the option set would be. “It’s fine,” he says.
Shinsou clicks open the bottle and gets his fingers wet with lube.
This part could be perfunctory, but it’s not. His fingers twist in the tight space between Katsuki’s legs, sliding and separating.
Shinsou’s hand stops. “I’m not. I won’t,” he says, a deep murmur. He’s said it before. Katsuki believes him, but it still helps to hear it. Maybe he said that just to hear it again.
“I am.” And yet Shinsou continues to twist his hand over Katsuki’s cock.
“Shinsou,” he gripes.
But not inside.
Katsuki’s panting.
“Fine,” Katsuki says, because really nothing has happened, even if his nervous system thinks it has.
“You feel good,” Shinsou says. He kisses Katsuki again, at the hairline, and says, “Relax for me.”
“You touch me,” Shinsou says, wrapping his hand back around Katsuki’s cock. “And I’ll touch you.”
Katsuki flexes his thighs again, but this time it’s just to make Shinsou moan.
“Fuck, that’s nice. I wanna—mmm.”
“Wanna what?” Katsuki pants. Shinsou doesn’t answer fast enough so he says, “Tell me. Talk to me.”
“Wanna cum between your legs. On your thighs. Can I?”
“Yeah,” Katsuki breathes. He’s stopped shifting back now, instead letting Shinsou control the pace. “You can cum on me.”
Katsuki groans. “Anywhere you want.”
Shinsou’s hand stutters against his as they stroke each other. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Where do you want?” Shinsou whispers. “Your pretty face? Your chest?”
The images flash through Katsuki’s mind. He could do that. It’s a whole different thing they could do, but what he really wants is….
“Between your legs?”
Something about that. The image. The idea of Shinsou’s cum smeared between his thighs. Dripping from him. “Yeah.”
“Your cum.” Katsuki's eyes are closed. He can see it. “Dripping down my thighs. Coating my balls… my taint, my—my hole.”
Katsuki cums first.
And right in the middle of it, Shinsou spills too. It’s warm and wet and messy between Katsuki’s thighs.
They lay there, flush with a layer of sweat and Shinsou’s cum cooling between them.
Katsuki’s still trying not to think. “Huh?”
“You don’t have to do anything just because we say it during sex.”
“Yeah. I know.”
Of course he knows that.
Katsuki knows he doesn’t have to do anything they say during sex. He doesn’t have to do anything, any time, for any reason. Saying no is /easy/. It’s his default mode.
//You don’t have to do anything just because we say it during sex//
The fantasy. The sharing of the fantasy. The reality of the fantasy.
He’s never thought of them as distinct before, but they could be.
Is it a tease? Is it a compromise?
But he does masturbate that week. He’s touched himself more in the last month than he did in the year prior. Shinsou’s given him so much fodder. Safe fodder, like hand jobs and blow jobs and a warm voice in his ear.
Or maybe he’s going to land in the exact same spot, this time with new regrets.
A few days sort out nothing. Katsuki never really knew what he was doing with Shinsou, and now he knows /less/. Still, when Shinsou texts him, Katsuki turns off his oven, shoves a granola bar in his mouth for dinner, and heads over immediately.
The door opens, and Katsuki looks up into Shinsou’s wry smile.
“Whatcha doing out here?” he asks.
“Nothing,” he says, not bothering with a lie.
“Cooool…” Shinsou steps back so he can walk in. “Do mind if I finish this show? There’s only ten minutes left. You usually take longer to get here.”
He sits right next to Katsuki—touching—and props his feet up on the coffee table. His weight carries Katsuki back a little bit from fully upright.
Shinsou sighs, but when Katsuki looks over, he’s smiling. He sets the remote on the table. “You know, I think you’d like it if you really watched it. Very old-school vengeance.”
It feels like they’re playing different sports on the same field, but Shinsou laughs and catches him with a warm hand at the back of his neck. “Okay. Come here.”
By the time Shinsou noses Katsuki up, the sun has set, leaving the windows black.
“Okay,” Katsuki says, patient as Shinsou kisses him again. “You got something particular in mind?” he asks as Shinsou nudges him onto his feet.
Katsuki pauses, looking at Shinsou in the dark. Is he working up to something with this?
“Why?”
“Why that, though?”
Shinsou gives him a long look, still holding his neck. “Because last time, we both got off on the idea of me cumming on your hole. I could do that. Or I could tease you about it, but not do it. Or we could do something else.”
Katsuki pictures it.
“We can do something else,” Shinsou says.
“No, we can do that,” Katsuki blurts out. He might not get another opportunity.
“Yeah.” Katsuki’s breathless, but he says it. “I think it’ll be sexy. Might be. We could try it.”
“You want to?”
“Yeah.”
Katsuki would turn away if he could. He’s probably heating Shinsou’s hands with his cheeks. “I dunno,” he murmurs. “I’ll… tell you.” He wants it. He just can’t say it /now/.
“Hmm,” Shinsou murmurs. “Okay. Turn around.”
Katsuki crawls on the bed, goosebumps breaking out across his shoulder blades.
Katsuki waits on the comforter, naked and shivering for the few seconds until Shinsou’s back.
“You look so good,” Shinsou murmurs in his quiet-in-the-dark voice. “You know you’re insanely hot, right?”
Katsuki huffs. Yeah, he’s heard.
Nobody’s seen Katsuki like this before. He curls his toes and tries not to imagine it.
“I—okay.” Katsuki swallows and does it. His shoulders were already starting to ache, and… and he wanted to, but now he’s even more exposed as Shinsou pushes back up.
“Pretty, pretty hole,” Shinsou says.
“You wanna spread your cheeks and give me a better view?”
“Sorry, I love when you’re shy.” Behind Katsuki, there’s the pop of a cap. “For your thighs,” Shinsou murmurs.
Katsuki huffs, not quite annoyed. Shinsou never teases, but Katsuki’s always ahead. Always cums fast.
“Perfect,” Shinsou sighs. “This is the best view I can imagine.” His hands curl around Katsuki’s waist, right at his hipbones, and grip as he thrusts.
Shinsou’s hands slide forward over Katsuki’s skin. They rest at his ribs, and then slowly glide back to his ass. Gentle. And yet, the pressure parts him slightly, and the intimacy of it makes him dizzy.
“You asshole,” Katsuki groans.
“Fucker,” Katsuki says. “You said you would.”
“Actually, you said you’d tell me if you wanted it.”
Katsuki can picture the twist of Shinsou's smile. Sexy and punchable. “I’m telling you,” Katsuki says.
It takes a second, but Katsuki gasps, “Yes.”
“Where?”
He’s so annoying, and yet it barely penetrates the haze of lust fogging Katsuki’s brain. “Fuck, Shinsou. On my hole. Cum on my hole, make a mess, get it inside me, I—”
He didn’t. He came on Katsuki’s back.
“What the fuck,” Katsuki groans as Shinsou topples him over onto the bed. “Why didn’t you—”
“Shh. Sorry,” Shinsou mumbles in between kisses. “Next time. Next time we can."
He keeps his eyes closed because his head is pounding. He ought to be annoyed, but somehow the whole thing was still so sexy it left him dizzy and shaking. Sexy and scary and embarrassing and weird and hot.
Except, he’ll have to go at some point. It’s probably not even eight pm. He can’t lie here in Shinsou’s bed forever.
Oh no. He’s talking. “No,” Katsuki manages, voice muffled because his mouth is pressed against Shinsou’s chest.
Katsuki would do that again.
“Good,” Shinsou says. “I want you to like everything.”
“I’m feeling a little, uh—” Shinsou laughs awkwardly. “Is it okay if we rest for a few minutes?”
Right now, Katsuki can’t face the awkward exit anyway. “Sure,” he says, face still pressed to Shinsou’s skin.

Katsuki pads to the door and peeks out.
“Hey,” Katsuki says. His voice is raspy from sleep and it sets off the cat who hisses and springs from Shinsou’s chest, probably angry he just got caught cuddling.
“Sorry,” Katsuki says, a little bemused and still half-annoyed. He hurries into Shinsou’s kitchen to retrieve a towel. “I didn’t mean to startle him.”
“Hot chocolate.” Shinsou’s cheek’s color a bit. “It helps me sleep. You want some?”
At one in the morning?? “No,” Katsuki says. “Why didn’t you wake me up?”
Katsuki rubs his neck. “I gotta get home.”
“I’ll clean up,” Katsuki says. He’s not gonna stay here and annoy Shinsou more. Shinsou has washcloths in the bathroom.
“What do you know about sleep?” Katsuki grumbles. He can feel Shinsou’s dried cum tugging on his back and that’s going to be a pain to get off in a sink anyway.
When the glass starts to fog with steam, Shinsou pulls open the door. “After you,” he says.
Shinsou isn’t usually this quiet and it’s not as comfortable without his voice smoothing their way through all the transitions.
“Do you have work tomorrow?” Shinsou asks, squeezing shampoo into his hand.
“… Yeah,” Katsuki says. He’s not sure where Shinsou’s going with this. They’re both speaking quietly, voices droning under the sound of the spray.
“Can I wash your back?”
Shinsou pulls them chest to chest and rubs his soapy hands up and down Katsuki’s back, rubbing away the mess he made hours ago.
“No shit,” Katsuki says.
“What?”
“Kissing. You like kissing. Makes you less tense.”
